Where is it possible to buy new display for Nokia 5 TA-1053 or other spare parts?
Original glass was broken, but touch is working.

Has any one replaced just the digitizer on their Wizard? I've managed to break mine after only 2 months of having the thing. I have a new one on the way that I ordered from ebay, but was wondering if anyone had actually replaced one and had any tips?
Is the digitizer glued to the the LCD? If it is, are they easy to get apart? I have the service manual and am happy to take the thing apart, but was looking for tips, advice etc....

I replaced the digitizer on my diamond 2 last night and I think I need to get a new housing as well as I broke it trying to get the old digitizer out.
Does anybody know what the quality is like of the non-oem ones and if you can get oem ones for a decent price (preferable in the uk).

ps if anyone is thinking of just replacing their housing or digitizer I would highly recomend replacing them both at the same time. It was hard work seperating the old digitizer from the housing which is glued

My mini's glass panel (digitizer) cracked. The HTC Customer Care is charging too much for it so I thought of replacing it myself. The problem is I googled and can't find any DIY instuctions. Does anyone know how to replace it?
Has anyone has bought the digitizer from ebay?... please share your experience ... how do you find it compared to the original?

I did this yesterday. Pretty easy if you're patient.
Just remember to not remove the black adhesive round the edge.
And don't touch the LCD... Use gloves!
OK i just replaced the LCD on my HD2 and before i replaced the digitizer worked just fine no issues there or with anything else with the phone. Now after i replaced the LCD now the digitizer doesn't work. I went back to the placed where i purchased the LCD and they said that the digitizer is bad and not the LCD that they sold me. i thought maybe that the LCD might be bad cause that is where the digitizer plugs in to. So do think the guy is correct and the digitizer is bad and that i should buy the digitizer from him or do you think that it is a possibility that the LCD could be bad?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated and thank you in advance.
Hi, I have dropped my phone a while ago but only the digitizer was damaged. Today, I disassembled my digitizer using a heat gun but my LCD now is messed up (picture in the attachment). Do I need to buy a brand new LCD or is there any way to fix it?

unless one of the lcd cables got damaged/loose then you will need to replace the screen
