Bought HTC One M9 on Ebay but it has no WIFI Call!!! - One (M9+) General

I have Tmobile as carrier but the phone I purchased is not tmobile branded
So I am guessing this is flashed phone from Asia. Is it possible to flash this phone to Tmobile ROM and that way will it have WIFI CALL feature?

unlocking to use on ATT?

I bought an hd2 on a tmobile acct but like 30 days later I got deployment orders and had to cancel the contract. Now when I get back i want to activate my hd2 with att. Anybody know how to unlock it so i can use it with att i'm not sure if tmobile will give me a unlock code since i was only with them about 30 days. thanks.
just try to find an unlocker website they usually cost like around $20s. but you have to consider this.... because at&t uses a different 3g settings with t-mobile, so you will not have 3g is you are using an unlocked t-mobile HD2 with at&t simcard.

Are there any issues or conflicts with mms/sms/vm or anything like that when using ATT/Edge with TMOUS HD2?
~CYD
nope none at all i been using mines since tha hd2 drop it works very good
If you bought the phone outright from TMO , just call TMO to get it unlocked ...
TMO has a very good Unlocking Policy, they might be slow getting to it, but they will do it with no hassles ...

Will I be able to use an unlocked MyTouch3G in Egypt through Vodafone Egypt?

I've tried digging around on my own to figure this out, but I haven't found a solid answer, and I really hope someone will help!
Would I be able to take an unlocked T-Mobile MyTouch 3G to Egypt with me and open up a service plan with Vodafone Egypt for local phone and 3G internet?
I hope the answer is simply yes, but here are a few more specific concerns:
1) Is there a difference between being unlocked from HTC and being unlocked from T-Mobile? Are those two separate things? (The one I am looking at says in the description that the unlock code was received and used from HTC, and I just want to make sure that it is really completely unlocked.)
2) Can I stroll into a Vodafone Egypt store with my unlocked T-Mobile MyTouch 3G and buy a plan for local Egyptian phone and 3G internet? In other words, does Vodafone Egypt require one of their official phones, with the Vodafone logo on the top, for them to treat me like a normal customer? (I am going to be in Egypt working as a teacher for the school year, and I would like to take out a contract just like a normal resident for the year if I can.)
3) Will an unlocked T-Mobile MyTouch 3G function properly on the Vodafone Egypt network? Are there any technical or software differences between the United States MyTouch 3G and the Vodafone Magic that might pose a problem for phone or 3G use?
4) Now I'm getting greedy, but here's one more question: Will any phone that is technically specified to work in Vodafone Egypt's network (proper band frequency, 3G capable) be eligible for a normal local Egyptian phone and 3G plan from Vodafone Egypt as described above? Or will it only work for phones that are specifically listed as part of Vodafone Egypt's current line-up?
Thank you in advance for your help!

1) No difference, it's either SIM locked or it isn't.
2) Yeah you should be able to get a SIM only plan which is meant for any phone. Only thing is they probably wont have the exact apn settings for the Magic (I don't think Voda sell the Magic in egypt), only generic ones but they will still work.
3) Just find out the bands the MT3G and Vodafone Egypt uses...

Awesome, thanks for the help. Egypt is 3G 2100 so I think I'm good!

[Q] What to do with a Telstra HD2?

I bought a Telstra-branded HD2 from Australia for my girlfriend (since she has AT&T), but then I got her the HTC Inspire instead. I ordered this for her since the Telstra can get 3G service on AT&T (unlike the T-Mobile HD2), but since she has the Inspire now
I use T-Mobile, and already have a US market HD2, so I'm not sure what I should do with this Telstra HD2.
I was thinking of putting it on eBay, but what else could I do with it? I was thinking of maybe using it in my car somehow...?
Ideas?
---edit---
decided to put it on ebay...

Using EU Leo in the USA

Hey guys!
I have HD2 I bought in Europe and am currently spending the summer in the USA. I'd like to know if I can use my phone with a SIM card from any operator here - the phone is not SIM locked. I have used it with SIM cards from another mobile operators in Europe. Should I flash the radio or something? I tried with an AT&T SIM card and it didn't work.
No need to reflash your European HD2. I am using a European HD2 on T-Mobile USA for more than a year (on stock ROM) and I never experienced any problems.
However,
make sure that your provider has a rooming agreement with either T-Mobile USA or AT&T.
I don't think you got me right. I don't want to use roaming. It's WAY expensive. I want to buy a SIM card from either T-Mobile or "Speed" or AT&T or whoever - doesn't matter really... and use it on my HD2.
LOL,
You didn't read my reply properly either! I said clearly I am using a European HD2 on T-Mobile USA, so, yes, as long as your Leo is unlocked, it will work just fine.

Flash AT&T on a T-Mobile S10+

If I buy used T-Mobile can I Flash AT&T firmware on it so I will have AT&T Enhanced Messaging and Wifi Calling Just as if it was an ATT phone????? Thanks
If the phone is network unlocked in theory the sim it sees when you first boot from setup it should then download all the carrier software and features. There is only one carrier U firmware so there isn't specific AT&T, T-Mobile. Now if AT&T tracks their IMEI's that were meant to be on their network then that may be where this all falls apart and some features may not come over then.
At least that is how it has worked in the past. Someone else feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

I saw a report on the forums here where someone flashed the att userdata and wiped and all of the carrier features worked.
I know on the 9/9+, even with the BOYD firmware, or flashing att bloat would not make a NON-ATT purchased device have advanced messaging /wifi calling / VoLTE. The trick was to activate that stuff on an att branded phone and then swap the sim.
It was very much a YMMV.
Similar issue here. My problem is i bought a s10 plus AT&T and it was supposed to be unlocked, however it wasn't the case. Mine is still AT&T locked and when i called them about my issue they said i would have to get service with them for a few months then i could end the service by paying the cancellation fee. I could then unlock the device. They also told me that my phone has an unpaid balance that would have to be paid prior to starting service. I have tried to contact the seller but to no avail. Anyways, my question is can I flash T-Mobile stock firmware to this phone and use it on T-Mobile?
