Hi
Got a message on my Acer Iconia Tab A500 that the ICS was available, and started following the instructions. All seemed to be going perfectly until the process stopped after the system restarted itself (as it should). After the "yellow line" had run about 25% of the time, there popped up a warning sign on top of the honey bee, and the process stopped. I then had to restart the tablet, and it worked just fine exept that the new system was not installed (Got a warning that the installation failed) Battery capacity is about 90%, and there's over 2 Gb memory left.
Can anyone please tell me what's wrong ?
Regards
Tore

Hello,
I had it with the previous update. It was a download problem. I solved it by downloaded again and again the update file.
Good luck

My advice would be to wait a few days. When ACER tried pushing ICS updates a week or so ago, there were a ton of bricked tabs. Looks like they are ready for "round 2"
Consider yourself lucky you could re-boot into the previous system after it failed
When 4.3 rolled out, I was unable to install it. The update downloads perfectly, but when it approaches 40% during installation, the phone reboots and says the installation was interrupted. I couldn't find an actual solution for this. I unrooted and tried it with the same "installation was interrupted". Today, I factory reset my phone. STILL it says "installation was interrupted". I'm running on stock now and I'm unable to update.
Any ideas?

Do a reset through Kies or Odin, and then trying downloading the update and applying it.

I had the same issue, updates kept being interrupted, I finally gave up and went to Best Buy, there is a kiosk called Samsung Experience Shop and a consultant mans the booth, I asked him to update my AT&T S4 to 4.3, he hooked it up to his laptop and I was out in 30 minutes with 4.3 in my S4. No charge just a thank you and smile
Hi guys,
Having issues with my Nexus.
Tried to root it earlier, which for some reason didn't work and get failed messages when installing zip.
Now I can't even use the tablet, getting the setup wizard as stopped working error literally everytime and can't get anywhere further.. I've tried connecting it to PC and doesn't read the Nexus so I have no idea what to do.
Tried factory reset and still the setup error occurs.
Any help would be appreciated.
Hi there! I'm running the latest (well, almost...) nightly build on my device, a Google Nexus 7 Wifi (2013) [flo]. For some reason, I haven't been able to update since the 4.4.4-20141202-flo nightly, because every single day it downloads the current update, verifies it against the MD5, then when I tell it to update it says there's a zip file signature verification error and cancels the install. I'm kind of afraid to turn that off, because last time I did that I had to do a complete factory restore on my device to get it usable again. Any ideas what's wrong?
Oh, I forgot to mention, I've also tried downloading the updates directly, still has the same problem. That's actually why I know what error message is popping up.

That sounds like around when the DL server ran out of disk space.
Manually flash the latest from dl.omnirom.org

It actually started two days after that problem was sorted, and the two updates for those days worked fine. Also, as I'd said, I'd tried manually downloading the updates during this period. However, yesterday morning, starting with the update for the 7th, it started working again, so I'm once again up to date.
My M1 suddenly popped up a notification saying "system UI has stopped working" and then went on a reboot lap that eventually lead to a boot screen saying
E: couldn't load bitmap fill_ball (error -7)
Warning: Nofile_contexts
Supported API:3
The phone is only 2 weeks old and never rooted. I have never encountered anything like this before and am afraid to do something wrong without consulting others, please help. I have tried clearing the cache and updating to the latest firmware via the option "update from external storage" and yet these did not help solve the situation. From my research, I have learned that doing a factory restore does not give a 100% guaranteed fix so I do not know what to do anymore.
I am a complete amateur in fixing these things, can someone guide me through the process of how to save my phone?
Reflash
Hey, did you try reflashing the stock firmware?
Here's a link: https://forum.xda-developers.com/as...ow-to/guide-revert-to-stock-rom-lock-t3798420
Else, visit the service centre. Reflashing takes less than an hour.
