What do you mean? At 3% the phone turns off. It is completely normal.

Shut Down after battery 20%

Hey,
I have just recently noticed a weird problem on my Arc..
When the battery goes below 20% it shuts down (similar to the way how it would shut down when the battery is out).
Then I need to connect the charger and switch it on, after which the battery will show at 1% and in 5 mins it will change to 21-22%...
so basically below 20% the phone thinks its actually ran out of battery even though it hasnt and hence shuts down..
any ideas about what could be causing this? is it a problem with my phone or the battery?
thanks

Have you try to clear the battery stats?
You need to be rooted to do that (I hope everyone knows that )

First thing you need to have "root". If you don't haven't rooted, use GingerBreak to root. Search the forum for the thread.
Second install Battery Monitor Widget from Market. Open the application (This is a widget. So you may want to insert the widget in your home screen), press menu and click "Statistics" option and it will prompt you for confirmation. Once done reboot to make sure it's cleared properly (Not necessary, but recommended).
Hope this resolves your issue.

I had a similar problem with my arc after charging it for the first time (charged it till 100% with the phone turned on). Then, after I used the phone, when it reached 10%, it just shut down. Then I decided to charge it with the phone turned off and this really helped. After two full charging cycles, the battery is acting normal. Now my arc shuts down at 2% which I think is normal.
Clearing battery stats has worked so far...thanks a lot...

[Q] Prevent Auto Dim & Auto Shutdown When Battery Low

I recently got the ZeroLemon battery.
When the battery gets depleted below 15%, the screen automatically dimmed. Moreover, when it's below 1%, phone automatically shutdown.
Has anyone figured out a way to bypass the auto dim and auto shutdown?
Any app or xposed module out there?
Many thanks.

LOL
What do you want, that it goes to -30% ?
You can look into the xposed modules collection :

Well, 15% of 10.000mAh is still 1500mAh, about 45% of the original battery.
1% when it auto shuts down is still 100mAh, 3%. Plenty of time to save whatever you're doing or even make it at least another 6 hours when it's in deep sleep..
I can see why that would be an entirely too annoying issue. Imagine if ours with the default battery started auto-dimming and slowing down at 45%.....

But still, i replied to the below 1%. He didn't say 1%, below 1%. What would that be, 0.92% ? 0.36% ? Or out of juice and therefore shutting down ?
But all in all, I don't even care anymore.

I found Disable the Critical Battery Shutdown with Xposed module.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/modules/mod-disablecriticalbatteryshutdown-v1-0-t2583320
Unfortunately, the developer stopped supporting it. It doesn't work on Kit Kat.
Anybody have any other idea?

first of all try a battery calibration program like this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nema.batterycalibration&hl=en
maybe it is a calibration problem.
as far as i know batter stats are not erased with a factory reset
then try an app like this :https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ccc71.bmw&hl=en
it should tell you the battery capacity and see if everything is working as it should.
good luck! i hope that will solve your problems, or at least find out what your problem is!
P.S. if it is an app related problem, or wakelock related you can find it with betterbattery stats.

That battery calibration app is a placebo. The batterystats.bin file doesn't do anything to change the microcontroller inside the battery pack itself.

Allow the phone to discharge fully until it turns itself off, by normal use and not using a battery draining app (or a benchmark). Then charge slowly and continuously until full, without making the battery hot, eg. by USB port on computer.
If you discharge too quickly you risk getting the red light of doom.

I missed it just a little, I got to 98% charge, but a few minutes and quickly under 93%. It is a breakthrough.
it was with a single USB cable charge (not data), lest appears the red light of death
tonight will try only usb cable data.
Greetings

Last few percent takes longer to charge, I think this is by design. Mine behaves the same way.

If calabrating didn't help then it's most likely a bad battery.

Bettery indicator is wrong on dm98 smart watch

Lifetime of my dm98 (lem4?) watches is about two days, that is nice. But the battery indicator shows ~50% by the time the battery is drained. It does not freeze at any level steadily going down to 50% and powers off then. Charging starts with 1% as it should be, but it is what one sees before android is booted.
Is it just on my device? Anything I can do to make the indicator showing the real battery level?

Not if in battery saving mode in location settings. Anyway to calibrate battery correctly you to to charge to full. Then leave the screen on until DM98 shuts down. Should run through from 100% to 15%warning and down to 0%. Then charge again and you should be right. Adrian. P.S you can play a movie the whole time to speed up the discharge. Adrian.
uninstall google play service and the battery indicator % work fine. it turn off at 0% always!

it's true! Make a test! If that's not true I'll give you permission to get around. You must first reset and do not enter the playstore anyway, otherwise the google play service is installed in secret!

this helped me, thank you
I've got DM98 guys its great actually..i was looking for compatibility of earphone or headset is anyone of you already tried compatible earphone or headset..?plz help..any Apps may be to be use..?
my dm98 simply does not load.
With the loading and on the screen only the logo to load appears but it never ends. I press the start button and only the word "Smartwartch" appears on the screen and then it goes off.
DM98, 2,2" screen doesn't accept the SIM card.
When started with the SIM inside, the first screen is the numerical keyboard reuesting the SIM card PIN input. My card has no PIN code!
I can't skip this screen.
Additionally, because it's the second hand purchase, I have no factory code for resetting the device.
Any advice?
regards
Chris
