How many speakers in Nova plus? - Huawei Nova/Nova Plus Questions & Answers

I am checking if my phones is working fine. Since sound comes just from speaker in the bottom right. The left one if i cover the right speaker i cant heard any sound in the left speaker.
So this model has just one speaker? Or the left came dead on arrival

On the bottom is the USB Type-C port and the speaker grill. The nova plus has two grills, but there is only one speaker on each handset.

Speakers on Nexus 10

Hey guys, I was just wondering: where exactly is the speaker sound supposed to come from on the Nexus 10? I know the speakers are right and left front facing, what I mean is are you supposed to hear sound from the entire speaker on each side? Mine only puts out sound on each speaker towards the top (volume rocker/power button side). I guess I was under the impression that no matter how you held the device and which part of the speaker your thumbs covered you'd still be able to hear the full speaker sound. Anybody know or care? Hope it's not a dumb question.

The grills are mostly aesthetic, the speakers themselves are on the top

The sound should be coming from the upper half up of the speakers cause they made it this way you don't block the speaker while holding the tablet.

[Q] LG G2 Dual Speakers?

Received my G2 yesterday and everything has been great until i played a game and my finger covered the right speaker when in landscape. This blocked all sound and was muffled, when i looked i saw a speaker on the opposite side. is this supposed to be a dual speaker phone or is it like the iphone and one is a microphone? I have found in a couple of reviews that it does have stereo speakers but cant find it anywhere on the LG website
The "speaker" on the left isn't actually a speaker. That's the microphone. It doesn't have stereo bottom speaker.

That's disappointing. I made up my mind to get a G2 soon, and i thought the 2 grills at the bottom of the phone were dual stereo speakers, just like on the iPhone.

I believe the iPhone only uses one speaker, one for audio and one for the speakerphone. At least that's what I heard.

Little did you know that Apple duped you too. The iPhone only has 1 speaker as well. That 2nd speaker grill on the iPhone and G2 are phony. I just think both LG and Apple did the dual speaker grills for aesthetic looks and not for functionality. I mean it does look a lot nicer to have dual speaker grills than what Verizon did and just have the speaker grill on the one side.
But the noise canceling Mic on the VZN works as intended with one small hole vs a big grill. Lets in to much wind noise

Are you sure?

LS980 Speaker issue

Can anyone test if their sound is coming from only one speaker(the left one)? when I cover it with my finger, it gets really low, but the other one does absolutely nothing

Don't call me on this but from what I remember reading there is only one speaker in the bottom and the other side is the mic. I think it was just a symmetry thing.

Oh, well if it really is that, then it does indeed make sense. Although it just looks weird, because it does look like 2 speakers.
Yup - just one speaker.

The speaker is on the right side on the LG G2. The left speaker grill is just another mic inside. I think LG made 2 speaker grills for looks and symmetry.
Its like asking Apple why do they have 2 speaker grills on the bottom of the iPhone 5S when indeed it also only has 1 speaker as well which is on the right side and a microphone on the left side. Most people don't know that and assume Apple provides stereo sound with 2 speakers. Its just an aesthetic thing.

thanx for clearing it up..
u mean all unibody phones are like this ? HTC ? anyways thanx fr clearing it up..
Well HTC has front facing, i phone is a better examples because phones still have 1 speaker.
So it can be on only one side other side mic goes it would look asymmetrical and odd if the speaker holes were drilled only one side.

Speakers?

So there's leaks everywhere about the specs of this device, but one major thing no one seems to be talking about is the speaker setup. Do any of you guys think the 6t just might have a stereo pair? Or is it most likely going to have the same single downward firing speaker OnePlus has always used? It'd be awesome if OnePlus at LEAST made the ear piece double as a loud speaker, creating a stereo pair! But like I said, the speaker situation seems to be the only thing not leaked at this point. Thoughts?

Ah, there's a good guess. Thanks man, must have missed that post. Well, we can hope right? I don't mind too much ditching my current QHD device for this one, better specs, but the speaker situation worries me lol
Review this morning says no stereo. Earpiece speaker (side at the top) and single media speaker (bottom I think).
