[Q] sign in to wifi network problem

recently I update my friend's I9500 to 4.3 ....
when he connects his devise to wifi after connecting a notification come " sign in to wifi network" with question mark wifi icon. when he tap on it a google page open and he sign in to his google account but after 2 minutes wifi drops .. plz help
he try to sync google acount and samsung account .....
he try factory reset.......
he flash another rom with full wipe

and after 2-3 minutes:
I don't know what he does with knox software!!!
I think it is related to knox software...
he is not rooted yet if he root his phone and uninstall knox is it solve the problem???
any other solution?!

problem solved... it is related to his modem's config and dsl provider....

Edit: problem back again and he test with another wifi and another internet provider but still problem there!!!!!!!!!!

Try configuring the modem/router for no security and see if he can connect then. If so it's a security configuration problem, and not the phone.

he do this but still no success...

a lot of people in my country and specific ISP have this problem after upgrade to 4.3.... but another ISP work without issue....
Any suggestion to solve this????
costum kernels and wifi fix app for some one work and for another doesn't work....
please help us....

Motorola connect

Anyone have this working on WIFI or LTE?

Works for me on WiFi with both Chrome on Windows 8.1 and on my Chromebook.
Just tested and it works on LTE too

app continues to say connecting on the phone... any ideas?

Yeah, not working here yet either...mine says "Talking to your phone" but never gets further.
UPDATE: Finally kept playing around with it until a button came up on the phone to turn connect on in Chrome on the computer (I had already previously done that on the computer multiple times) so when I hit that button in connect on the phone, the computer extension finally connected. Go figure. All is working fine now.

The pc just says could not connect to phone. Could this be art?

So what worked was to unlink the gmail id from the connect service... now it works. Also the app constantly stops, meaning i have to start the connect app on the phone for it to be persistent. Anyway to change this? i suspect OOM, but just asking.

Also not compatible with the ART runtime...confirmed and switched back to Dalvik

I would disagree, I'm running ART and Motorola connect is working perfectly fine. Pic/screenshot below for proof. Disregard the names/phone numbers if I forgot to block any out.

[Galaxy Grand Fame] Factory Reset Protection

Hello people from XDA,
My girlfriend has a Galaxy Grand Prime. But today she came to me. She had reset her phone and had to log in with a Google account. This she was completely forgotten and she really had no idea what that could be. When she bought it, she had filled in nonsense. But now she's a big problem, they can not in the phone.
I soon found the OTG manire on the Internet, you could reset the phone via USB. Unfortunately this did not work. I also see the status: FPR LOCK: ENABLED in download mode. I can flash new recovery. Officele ROM via dial or SamMobile is no problem ... but nothing helps .. I'm able to go in Download mode and Recovery. Hard resetting doesn't work.
Is there anyone who can help us out of the fire?

Well if the otg works then just install a app to open settings and then reset from the settings menu.. This works everytime. I had done that myself on other samsung devices

Yeah, i should work. I see a lot of people doing it with the OTG method. And it works, the phone is resetting. But when i reboot the phone i get the same problem.

Debug wifi?

I can't get my Wi-Fi working at work. I have a Nexus 6p 64g that I've flashed with Pure Nexus. It worked before and my old Samsung Galaxy Sii can also connect. The Nexus stays stuck at 'Obtaining IP address'.
Can I get a log in some way to see what goes wrong? Or is there a way to reset Wi-Fi settings? I tried resetting vendor data in TWRP (didn't help). On a side note: I have no problem connecting to my home Wi-Fi.

Try going into Settings > Developer Options and enable Legacy DHCP. You may ask your work to look into their configuration to see if anything needs to be updated since Marshmallow updated the way enterprise level networking is handled. I ran into the same problem at my university and some people contacted them about it and I no longer have the issue.

I tried the Lollipop DHCP but it didn't help. Also, it worked before I flashed Pure Nexus and my 6p was obviously already running Marshmallow back then. I enabled to see more info in the Wi-Fi AP overview screen but I can't make sense of it.
Other tips?

I tried that reset but it didn't fix it. Does Pure Nexus do anything differently from stock?
I noticed there's a number of wifi 'fixer' applications in the play store. Any experiences with those? Or other, more standard debug tools?

HELP!!! Galaxy note 4 without network

Hello everyone, I need your help, I have a galaxy note 4 and when I put any sim card I always get "only emergency calls" or "no service".I have checked the IMEI and it is not deleted or lost.
What can be the problem?
Any solution?

I tried to reset the phone trying to install the original rom and not let me flash, it gives me error.
