I can't get my Wi-Fi working at work. I have a Nexus 6p 64g that I've flashed with Pure Nexus. It worked before and my old Samsung Galaxy Sii can also connect. The Nexus stays stuck at 'Obtaining IP address'.
Can I get a log in some way to see what goes wrong? Or is there a way to reset Wi-Fi settings? I tried resetting vendor data in TWRP (didn't help). On a side note: I have no problem connecting to my home Wi-Fi.
Try going into Settings > Developer Options and enable Legacy DHCP. You may ask your work to look into their configuration to see if anything needs to be updated since Marshmallow updated the way enterprise level networking is handled. I ran into the same problem at my university and some people contacted them about it and I no longer have the issue.
I tried the Lollipop DHCP but it didn't help. Also, it worked before I flashed Pure Nexus and my 6p was obviously already running Marshmallow back then. I enabled to see more info in the Wi-Fi AP overview screen but I can't make sense of it.
Other tips?

I tried that reset but it didn't fix it. Does Pure Nexus do anything differently from stock?
I noticed there's a number of wifi 'fixer' applications in the play store. Any experiences with those? Or other, more standard debug tools?

I've never been able to open the Games Hub app on my SGS2 - it simply fails with the error "Application requires working data connection."
It's done it from new, with every firmware update, and occurs whether rooted or not. Wifi/3G connection makes no difference. Is it just me?
Yes, it is just you...

I had the same problem..I did not find any particular solution but this is what i did..
Install a cwm recovery supported kernel.
Get into recovery and wiped data n cache..Though i'm not sure if this will work for you'll as well. Still worth a try..
Also gaming hub isnt that good it has most of the market stuff.
I have also the same problem.
Who know how to fix it?
finally fixed
OK finally i fixed try these step might help you guys as well
1. wipe data and reset phone or either factory restore.
2. when you adding you google account with phone do not synchronize with old data and do not restore previously saved data with google account such as wifi, application setting.
3. once your phone is ready add your wife or be sure you are in network 3g or edge signal range.
4. now open game hub and enjoy.
if this not work let me know
Hi
I've always had this WiFi problem that after about 5 minutes of usage the internet connection disappears on my phone but the WiFi logo stays.
This forces me to disable and reenable WiFi on my phone.
Later I discovered that this only happens with WPA secured access points.
WEP and non secured access points work fine.
I tested my phone with 3 routers. Same results for all. On my first 2 routers it wasn't a problem because I just set up WEP security.
With my new router I cannot do this because it has wireless N which doesn't support WEP...
Also this happens will all ROMs, even the stock ROM.
After Google'ing this issue I found out that I am not the only one having this issue...
Does anyone know if there's a fix for this?
No one knows what the issue is?
Wifi works fine here using WPA2 and AES, my router is an ASUS RT-N16 running Tomato USB firmware.
Alright, so I decided to run logcat to capture the moment when the connection drops.
Here's the image of the log window:

"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
How I tested this:
1) Ran adb logcat in Windows.
2) Enabled WiFi connection.
3) Opened up YouTube, selected a 10 minute long video.
4) After about 4 minutes, the video froze, because it ran out of buffer.

use wifi fix from the market.almost had same problem in every custom rom.noproblem on stock.
Maybe you should try the WiFi libs from the FreeXperiaProject? Or a different ROM.
Sent from my X8 using XDA App
Anyone have this working on WIFI or LTE?
Works for me on WiFi with both Chrome on Windows 8.1 and on my Chromebook.
Just tested and it works on LTE too
app continues to say connecting on the phone... any ideas?
Yeah, not working here yet either...mine says "Talking to your phone" but never gets further.
UPDATE: Finally kept playing around with it until a button came up on the phone to turn connect on in Chrome on the computer (I had already previously done that on the computer multiple times) so when I hit that button in connect on the phone, the computer extension finally connected. Go figure. All is working fine now.
The pc just says could not connect to phone. Could this be art?
So what worked was to unlink the gmail id from the connect service... now it works. Also the app constantly stops, meaning i have to start the connect app on the phone for it to be persistent. Anyway to change this? i suspect OOM, but just asking.
Also not compatible with the ART runtime...confirmed and switched back to Dalvik

I would disagree, I'm running ART and Motorola connect is working perfectly fine. Pic/screenshot below for proof. Disregard the names/phone numbers if I forgot to block any out.

Please only post if you have the OTA 7.0 on your phone. I wanna keep this post on-topic with the device (moto x pure) and issues people may have on the new update.
Now without further do, I have an odd bug that happens and it's annoying. Whenever I try and use my Bluetooth and wifi at the same time my wifi disconnects and reconnects all the time until I turn Bluetooth off. Wifi networks don't display like they're supposed to and there's a bunch of code on the network list. I've reset my network settings and wiped the cache and deleted some apps I don't use. I haven't hard reseted the device and kinda want to use that as a last resort.
My phone is stock with android 7 Ota not sideloaded.

Stock android 7 retEU, no issues like that but after the OTA i always perform a factory reset.
I suggest you to do the same.

Might have too as well and go from there.
You should always do a factory reset after a major os update.

Hi,
I have an issue with my OP5. I'm rooted with Magisk and I tried to use Card Emulator Pro app.
I think the app changed the NFC configuration of the OP5 and I can't turn on the NFC.
I tried to restore to NFC configuration back to default but it doesn't change.
Does anyone here has the same issue ?
Here is my log with the error

Hey, i just fixed it by downgrading it to a earlier version. It must have something to do with the latest version firmware. try with 5.0 it worked for me. https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-5/how-to/oneplus-5-mirrors-official-oxygen-os-t3628190 download it from here. It should fix it but it will perform a factory reset. but no media data will be lost. once downloaded place it on the phone and head to settings->update_then little ... menu and local file.
hope this helps. I use google pay alot so a fix is a must, thought it was hardware issue
