I was having some issues with video playback so I rebooted my UT, once it finished, I noticed there was no lockscreen. And despite my best efforts, I can't get one to appear, also, Windows 10 says my UT is empty :/

This is getting pretty damn annoying. I can't upload a video to youtube because every 10 seconds I get a "waiting to retry" message. I click retry, and the same thing happens again. Is there any fix for this? It's happened every since I got the phone.
So after an hour it finally gets to 100% on a 61mb video and then it restarts back to 1%. Awesome.
I think it's safe to say that Android absolutely SUCKS at uploading youtube videos directly from phone. Had the same problem with my droid.
Hello, I have a few problems im wandering if people know how to fix.
1. Before i put WP7 on, i had the ENERGY rom, and when ever i start up my phone, i always get the energy logo show for a few seconds before MAGLDR screen shows. Any way to change this to the standard I heart windows phone HTC screen?
2. My next problem is i believe with my SD card. I have a 16GB sandisk card which seems to work, and ive had very good random IOPS speeds, however after installing an application, i get a huge slow down, anything on the menu is slow to load, including settings, zune etc.
Allot of the time, when i go to start a downloaded application, it closes and goes back to the menu screen, i try again, and again, and then eventually it works... Sometimes i give up and it never works.
Now, what i want to know is if anyone else is having anything similar to this? Because i havent heard much about this issue on XDA.
I know im not going to be able to get a fix to this problem besides the usual 'incompatible SD card', but i believe my card is as compatible as im ever going to get (ive tried 3 others all of which havent worked). so i just wanted to be assured that this is a current issue and not just my card.
3. When using the Automatic speach recognition, it doesnt recognise 'find' or 'search' commands, it only recognises open or call commands.
I am using 7.07392 Yuki's one.
4.Sometimes will say its searching Wifi forever, and never find any networks, even though im standing right next to one! Usually requires a restart, which brings me onto number 5.
5. When switching off the phone, depeending on how slow its been prior, will take any where between 30 seconds, and 2 minuites! After a while i endd up just taking the battery out!
6. After switching off the device or taking the battery out, the automatic clock changes to a completely random time! And there is no way to my knowledge to force it to search for a time over the phone network
I am aware there are a fair few questions, and i would be very greatfull if someone could answer them!
Thank You!
Next time try searching first most likely the SD card but you can try a different build and see if you get the same issues
My Omnia 7 is stuck in loop boot :|
I have tried everything from hard resetting phone, to flashing custom/earlier roms, but whatever I do, I always get stuck at "Samsung Omnia 7" splash screen.

Edit: Fixed after I took out the battery a few times xD

Trust me... I tried more than few times
I have exactly the same problem, but the phone recovers after a while and Windows Phone loads properly, just to crash and boot loop again after using it for browsing or gaming for 10 to 15 minutes.
It is very annoying and I don't believe it is a software related problem to be honest.
Since I've 8 months of warranty left on the phone, it's been sent to the official Samsung Repair Center for the Benelux region: Dynafix.
That name alone made me shiver... And rightly so.
The first time it was sent to them, they flashed it with 7.0.7392.0 and returned it to me. Yes... It didn't get stuck in the boot loop.
I setup the phone again and hook it to Microsoft Zune for restoring pictures, music etc.
Of course Zune pushes the updates to the device as well: they crash one after the other on "Step X of Y: Restarting your phone..."
The phone enters a boot loop for several minutes and then recovers, installs the update (download mode of the phone) and loads WP after again... a few minutes of crash boot looping.
In the end, I manage to get the latest version on it, but it went from looping to freezing for 1h17m before I removed the battery and unplugged the USB cable as the phone and battery become warm, if not hot.
In the end, the phone remains only usable for about 15 minutes and then crashes. Playing Infinte Flight makes the bottom back side of the board where the battery is located burning hot. My brother, who has the same phone and plays the same game doesn't have this issue of warm device at all. It gets a little warmer, but far below what mine produces as heat.
So I sent it a second time to Dynafix, asking for a proper examination of the phone, especially the hardware. They simply flash it again and returned it. Of course the same story repeats.
I went back for a 3rd time. They don't accept it anymore. They flashed, and I quote: "the latest stable release for your device" and I should NOT update it with UNOFFICIAL Zune updates. It's my fault that the phone fails.
I strongly disagreed and stated that some of the apps I bought in the Market need these updates. They bluntly say and I quote "should not have installed unsupported 3rd party software" from the Market. Even Microsoft Photosynth, Microsoft SkyDrive are thus unsupported application...
I am outraged by the so called "service" and "repair" that I'm really considering sending a letter to Samsung's HQ packed in a box together with my phone requiring a proper repair or a replacement!
So I finally got the notification that I could update my Nexus 4 to Lollipop; I was aware of some issues regarding performance/wifi etc but nothing prepared me for this;
I installed Lollipop last night and left my phone optimising its apps etc overnight. In the morning I had a couple of messages saying the launcher was not responding, I also noticed I had no wifi or mobile data connection.
I restarted and my wifi connected but the phone promptly froze and needed another reboot. After reboot it took a long time for even the 'no signal' triangle to come up and much longer for it to show any service, but still no data connection. Various apps are causing popups asking me to close, wait or report. Normally it won't respond to any of these options. I've not even tried to use most of the apps, such as Google Docs which has come up a few times.
Within a couple of hours all I had managed to do was let Gmail steal my emails and get a quick glance of the 'new look' (which I like).
A bit more careful handling got Spotify running for my drive to work but it froze and needed a reboot after removing the aux lead from the port.
Then it stopped responding and I left it for the day as I was working, when I came back it still said 9am on the screen. I cleared the cache via the recovery boot process, performance has improved but its still freezing and the data/mobile reception is very flaky. In 24hrs I still haven't managed to use the phone for anything except Spotify. Not even loaded a web page. Its probably had 20 restarts today.
Help!
Just done the following and there has been a marginal improvement i.e. I can actually open an app (occasionally) without freezing the phone but its still largely unresponsive and no mobile reception at all.
Go into the developer options as above. There are three options under "Drawing" in Developer Options :
-Window animation scale
-Transition animation scale
-Animator duration scale
Turn all three to 'Animation off'.
then, under the 'Apps' subheading (in developer options still), set Background Process Limit to "at most, 2 processes".
My N4 and N7 have been flying along since I did that.
Hello, I've had this issue for a couple of months now. I've got a Redmi Note 7 updated to its last supported MIUI version. The issue that I'm having is, certain apps take a long time to respond. For example, when I open the Gallery app, the media shows up but when I try to open a photo it freezes or goes to a black screen, I then have to wait up to a minute until I get the popup at the bottom asking me if I want to close it or wait, so I choose wait and after another minute or so, the photo loads up.
The MIUI file manager does this too and unfortunately it's not just limited to the MIUI apps but others as well. Viber, Revolut, YouTube, Yodel, Wise, and a bunch of other apps that I download do this. Sometimes the issue gets fixed only temporarily when I uninstall the Webview app's updates or clear its data but it's only good for a couple of minutes. Sometimes the whole screen would go black and it would just freeze, I then have to hold the power button for a couple of seconds and it does this quick reboot where the MIUI logo appears with the sound for about 10 seconds or so and I'm on the lockscreen. I figured Google messed something up with an update for that app but it's been months and it's been through a couple of updates where I hoped this issue would be fixed but no.
I've tried a factory reset + flashing the firmware but they still keep on freezing. Could it be some memory issue? I really don't wanna switch to a new phone as I'm still satisfied with the battery life on this one and its specs overall still get the job done for calls, regular internet browsing, social media and watching videos. Has anybody else experienced this?
