Does anyone else have a problem with getting multiple superuser request when trying to do anything that requires root? For example if I use root explorer I have to hit approve like 20 times, it doesn't seem to be saving the action. I just wanted to see if anyone else went through this cus its starting to get annoying.
not sure why it wasnt saving the permissions but in case anyone else runs into this problem what I did to fix it was: pulled superuser.apk from /system/app and reinstalled market version... seems to be working fine now
Tried fixing permissions using jrummy busy box installer and it just keeps running. Waited 10min and it was still going. What are you guys doing to fix permissions? Also tried running the zipalign script and get an error for missing binary? Any idea about this? Last.....kept seeing this bug report thing fly up every now and then. Finally found where the .txt reports were being saved and they were all the same error, system/bin/stagefright? Bug report attached, any help is greatly appreciated. Been running faux123 008 test kernel, stock rooted ROM.

I started seeing these bugreports when I "upgraded" to 4.2.2 on my stock rooted N7. From what I can tell stagefright is some kind of audio/video/picture rendering engine. I became aware of the reports when I started getting random popups for "complete action using...". I finally selected the gmail app and saw that the bugreport as well as a screen shot were attached to the email. I actually got a copy of stagefright from a friend that had it on a different device and installed it. The bugreports kept happening only this time I was getting this error:
NvAvpOpen: Error opening nvavp device (Permission denied)
I've hit a brick wall with this error. Did you ever get anywhere with the stagefright error?
I have figured out a few more things... If you have developer options (and maybe USB debugging) turned on, pressing power/volume up/volume down will generate a bugreport via /system/bin/bugmailer.sh. Bugmailer then calls /system/bin/dumpstate which in turn calls stagefright to play a sound. So the invocation of stagefright didn't cause the bugreport, it is a result of the report. So if you want to stop this whole nonsense, just edit bugmailer.sh and add "exit 0" as the second line.

I found this video from IEEE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-KMMfxOoCjg&sns=em In the video it looks like they are using an option in superuserex to modify permissions, but superuserex requires recovery to update the binary code. I installed the apk and updated chainfire superuser, so I'm wondering if any more security is necessary. I found this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lbe.security.lite but it doesn't seem to work with kitkat. I noticed some threads about LBE but wasn't able to figure out if there is a fix to use it on my phone and mabey my SM-P600.
Hi,
I recently rooted my Galaxy Note 4 (SM-910-C). At first when I was trying to change the Boot Animation I was able to copy files specifically "bootanimation.zip" to the "System/Media" folder using ES Explorer. Now whenever I try to copy that type of file or a "bootsamsung.qmg" file the phone just reboots itself. When the phone restarts and I go back to the folder I find the file is there but only with a size of 0.00 bites. Which means it did not copy correctly. Does anyone know why the phone is suddenly rebooting? Is it possible that the root is corrupted some way? Please advise how I can fix this issue. Thanks.

> Amplify
> Grennify
> Recent App Cleaner
> Wanam Xposed
YouTube AdAway
How do I produce the catalog?
Amplify should be causing the issue even I had same I've cleared the amplify data now I've not timed any wake locks, I would you to do same and try. Also I would suggest you to install Samsung server crash fix module and enable it to check if your still facing the issue.
Still

Ok, I did as recommended but still have the same issue... how do I get to the correct log file or catalog to understand the issue better?

Kindly install Catlog and from there you can extract the log file.
Has anyone got wakelock detector running on their OP5?
I am running OOS so there is no custom rom Messing with it, but I always get an error message.
I also cannot Install it as a system app which was suggested because it cant mount rw
I have the same issue. haven't found a solution yet. Does anyone have any insight
I posted a workaround in a different thread.
Basically don't install the root version, install the Wakelock Detector Lite version, then you need to follow the in-app guide to grant the app battery stats via ADB and a Chrome Extension. That works.

Works fine with Magisk / AppSystemizer (+ reboot twice ?!).
BetterBatteryStats_xda will give you more analyses.
for new version is need run adb command
Code:
adb -d shell pm grant com.uzumapps.wakelockdetector.full android.permission.BATTERY_STATS
Hi could you help me to figure out why
KERNEL wakelock is failed to open for me ?
First time I was able to open kernel mode, after that I have made some settings adjustment BUT not with this app. I changed background mode for samsung push nitifications, removed permissions for body sensor and microphone for google play service, but not have changed anything for wakelock detector.
do you kow what should be enabled/permissions for KERNEL mode view ?
