Since they both are an Exynos variant, is it possible to flash 935F firmware to Korean variants, if possible? (Through Odin - SamFirm)

I see. I thought it would be possible also on Exynos variant, since carrier-branded SD820 S7/S7E can be converted into 930/935U through the same way.
Converting G935S to G935F
Apologize for asking again, I have been searching for a definite answer regarding converting from 935S to 935F (Same hardware). found some who claim it is possible (no explanation how) and some who say it's impossible.
Can anyone recommend what can be done? i.e a customized ROM?
I got the 935S as a leftover from a travel to Seoul and would like to use it elsewhere.. however it is always on roaming, cannot have conf calls and collects news in Korean, etc..
Please help TIA:angel:

I just went and asked the same thing, and deleted it, cause i have a Note8 and we can flash whatever carrier firmware we want, the phone is decided by the SIM card...BUT ever carrier has the SAME model number for once, every carrier is SM-N950U, an odd couple are SM-N950U1....

I know this thread is old but it is possible. I have korean model G935S which have ROM of G935FD, I am not sure how it was done, but it was done to convert it into dual sim model. So i am pretty sure F ROMs could also be flashed, but how? Its an question whose answer I dont have xD

n910a is not rootable because of locked bootloader so you cannot flash any rom until you unlock the bootloader and there is no root method available until now.
Need to pick up a phone and the Samsung Galaxy S8 is one of the phones I'm considering. Does the Canadian variant have custom ROM support? I only found it can be rooted but that's it. I believe the Canadian version is SM-G955W?
The Canadian version is also a snapdragon so no.
S8 is G950W
S8+ is G955W
I believe I can use this method to root the phone right?

Yes
I have galaxy Edge S7 purchased from ebay. It shows Model no. as SM-G935F in Settings>About Phone.
But in Download Mode it shows sm-g935v . When i connect usb it shows verzion softwares.
But when i check IMEI no. on internet it corresponds to SM-G935A model .
Please tell me what is the actual model no of my phone.?? and what is right firmware to update it to android 7??
All of those are US variants (Snapdragon based), so you may never know the real answer (though I imagine the IMEI probably points to the original model number). The good news is, you don't really care unless the device is SIM locked and you need to unlock it, since all of the US versions physically identical.
