Hi all just wondered if anyone has heard anything about Bixby voice coming to UK?
The reason i ask is that I had a few updates in Google play and one was Samsung email adding voice support for Bixby.

Still no calls over wifi though.
Exactly what I'm waiting for. Hope they go live soon
i dont need a signature
Hope I get an invite! I've been a GV user since it was grandcentral. The minute I saw this I added in my email.
Good to see they are starting to roll this out to a few.
Hey, this may stray a little off topic but maybe you guys can help answer a few questions for me.
The situation...
I might be relocating to the island of grenada, dominican republic for two years for school. I have google voice on my phone and was wondering if I took my shift with me, can I just put it in airplane made, turn on wifi and receive and make calls with google voice while on campus/around wifi hot spots?

No, it's not VOIP. You couldn't make calls. SMS gets sent over data though so you would still be able to text.

I think Skype would be the way to go.
That's awesome; I really want to get this enabled on my phone. I already use Google Voice for voicemail, but I want my Sprint number as my Google Voice number because it's the number everyone already knows for me.
So is it safe to assume that if you already have a GV number you have to forfeit it in order to port your Sprint number to GV?

bcellis - yes. you have 90 days to decide to switch back.
Has anyone tried contacting Sprint about getting an invite to the service? Maybe it's just a matter of talking to the right person...
That's one of the perks of working for Sprint corporate. The day after the PR about Google Voice and Sprint, a few of my team members and I received the invitation. I have to say we haven't had any issues with it up to this point.
Now that Windows Phone 7.5 has been officially launched by nearly all the carriers my question is this:
Why doesn't Microsoft's "Premier Partner" for Windows Phones support 7.5's Visual Voicemail?
T-Mobile supports this feature and they play 2nd fiddle to AT&T regarding Windows Phones.
I've called people at Microsoft and AT&T and no one is able to give me any answers.
Does anyone else find this lack of support from AT&T troubling?
I just received a response back from Paul Thurott saying that AT&T will be supporting visual voicemail on currnent and future Windows 7.1/7.5 phones.
BUT WHEN WILL AT&T KNOW THIS?!

When you call ATT they do not connect you to the CEO, PMs, Engineers, or anyone else important.
You get a CSA. And CSA are not told anything ahead of time. If the feature came out today most of them wouldn't know about it to next month anyway.
Paul usually knows whats up as he knows some people who work at MS, and I assume they are high enough up to have an idea what is going on.

No, I actually Googled all the phone numbers and talked with people in TX HQ. I'm very well versed on how these corporations 'protect' the people at the top of the corporate ladder. (6)
You are right about the CSA's each one had to look things up. They currently don't have the ability to add VVM to WP7.
Maybe at&t will just flip a switch someday and everyone will awake with vvm?
Thurott now questions when/if Visual Voicemail will be released on at&t.
I for one was hoping they would announce it with the shipping of the new Focus'.

When I bought my Focus S last week I asked the manager of the corporate store I bought it from about VVM and he said it was coming to ATT with the Tango update. I dont know if he knew what he was talking about but he was very well versed in WP7 unlike others I have spoken to.
I spoke with Henry Thursolt ,Executive Vice President , he told me there will be no Visual Voice Mail on Android or Windows Phone 7 devices , only on Apple!!
Got the S4 in the UK and the is no Visa paywave app. Thought it was been pushed as a major selling point of this phone?
I was expecting it too, oh well, will just have to root and then install Google Wallet.
Yes....I got my S4 on the 26th and couldn't find Visa Paywave in the Hub. Had to install GoogleWallet instead. I'm assuming that it will be added in the Hub in the future
Great. . . At first, I was dissappointed that my region gets the quad core version instead of the octacore. Now we don't even have a visa paywave app that samsung said to have preinstalled on the Galaxy S4. I wanted to use the visa paywave since I can't use google wallet on my region.

Quite disappointing indeed not to be able to play around with NFC payments, I was looking forward to this but google wallet is not officially available where I live either.
Actually has anyone seen any recent news related to Paywave on the S4? All I seem to find on the web are articles dating back to late Feb / mid March.

Nope, nothing
I would surely buy more useless things... but they don't want my money...
Hi I live in Greece and in the tv they have a advertisement of visa paywave but I can't.find.anywhere how.to download the app
Does anyone know how to download it
From what I can make out paywave is a Developement kit for visa developer.visa.com/paywavemobile as for being pre-installed what the s4 has the Service Provider Trusted Service Manager built in to the phone instead of needing a sim with it on (this is only what I have found out from reading forums and talking to someone on the uk orange quicktap team. They are in development at the moment but only support s3 and have no idea if they will bring s4 into development or develop the paywave for there own use.

Use VPN to order it from UK or German (when it gets available there) store and use a company that resend packages from these countries to Netherland. The company gives you adress in the country where you send your phone to and when it gets there, the company will send the package to you.

I dont know if mailobox.de sends packages also to Netherland. If not, you just have to find a similar comapny that does.

I'd just wait about a week. Rumors are pre-order on the Play Store will start on November 2nd.
Huawei spokesperson for the Netherlands confirmed it will be available in the Netherlands starting November 9th.

Hi guys,
Would just like to know if any 6P owners who bought their phone from EE received software updates as they were pushed out or did EE have to delay software updates in order to mod it to their liking?
Just asking as I want a Pixel but don't fancy having to waiting for EE to pull their finger out when it comes to updates if that's their policy.
I know flashing is an option but due to travel with work that's not something I'm interested in.
Thanks in advance
I don't think EE had any branding or customisation on the 6P? I bought SIM free but got the update with Wi-Fi calling and hope one day to get VoLTE support.
Google phones should be like Apple devices I think.

Hi, did you buy it direct from EE or buy it from Google then put an EE sim in it?
Direct from Google.
