TyTn Parts for sale----
They just happen to be assembled..
Sent my functioning HTC branded TyTn to CellularDR in Glendale, CA to have it's "D" pad repaired. Phone worked fine, just not with the "D" pad.
They have returned it, saying the parts to repair are not available. In the meantime I have replaced it with a Tilt.
I cannot speak as to whether it is still functional as a phone. Make me a reasonable offer and it's yours. Good Battery, screen, etc.
hey...are you selling seperate parts or the entire phone? if so, how much do you want for the motherboard?
he's selling the whole phone.......i asked, cause i want the front camera, and maybe the housing. if someone wants the digitizer/lcd, we could probably buy it and then break it down on our own
how much cost the hermes does it only sell the motherboard ??
bought the phone.
Does anyone here have a line on where I might be able to replace just the adapter plate?
I looked on the Acer website for support and it's...woefully inadequate.
A good, non voice jail phone number for customer service / parts?
I'd hate to have to buy the whole charger just for the plate...
Much thanks in advance!
The plate itself may be ubiquitous. Try searching online to see if you can buy one somewhere rather than going through Acer.
yeah the adapter plate is standardized I think. Try looking for travel adapter kits on eBay, I think that will have what you need.
Hello friends,
I have seen a couple of batteries online, but I don't trust some of them.
Do you know an online shop that sells a genuine (oem) battery for LG g2 802?
Thanks
Nobody bought a new battery guys?
Try official LG service. It might be cheaper than you thought (ie. in Poland it's just $25, replacement included)
Hi everyone,
Currently planning to replace my battery (and at the same time back cover) and I thought maybe I could throw in the wireless charging flex in my cart.
So I was wondering if the H870DS model had the four necessary contact pads ? H870 doesn't have it ( https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g6/help/wireless-charging-europe-wireless-t3677664 )
Thanks in advance !
I guess no one knows ?

I know for the H870 model, but since not all the models share the same motherboard- Considering the H870DSU (the 128GB model with wireless charging) is just the H870DS with more storage and wireless charging...
Well, if I ever open the phone before I upgrade I'll report here

I will try source the images I found of the DS version. I'm sure they didn't have the contacts either.
Thank you ! It's okay if you can't find it
If you guys tell me where these contacts are, i ll ha e it checked. Most probably i will open mine next week.
Circled the contacts in red and I put you the interesting parts of the video. https://imgur.com/a/0iQjhm2
He's also talking about the wireless charging mat @ https://youtu.be/3hinFSv8N-M?t=233
Thank you !
@SurfaceCube, did you find out if it works with a H870DS?
Also about to change my battery and it would be nice to extend the functionality of my LG G6 with wireless charging
My kid tried to put micro usb cable into axon7 charging port, which broke the pins of charging port.
Axon 7 is not available in India and no service centers also. Is it possible to replace this charging port with some other phone port.
I went to local mechanic and he tried with OP2 and Pixel phone charging port. But they did not fit.
Any suggestions.

If you can't get a new port, it will need a new mainboard. Possibly better just to replace the phone.

He'll just need the USB PCB like this one ^^. Not a whole new mainboard.

That's good to know
So next question, how old is it? If over a year, maybe have a new battery in it whilst it's apart.
If I order this, will this work https://www.aliexpress.com/item/For...Connector-Replacement-Repair/32900985446.html

lol if you buy that you'll have to desolder the old one's pins and solder the new. They are SMD and have very little spacing so you'll need experience and a lot of patience to solder it right.
Long story short: Too difficult, simply buy the module that has the port soldered to it and replace it. It is as simple as taking the broken one off and putting the new one, then snapping the connectors in place
I just ordered this yesterday. USB PORT https://www.ebay.com/itm/For-ZTE-Axon-7-A2017-USB-Charger-Charging-Port-Dock-Connector-Flex-Cable-Part/163157945601?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649

Just wondering if you've had success with the boards you ordered and the phone connects to your service provider all right?
Want to ask a follow-up question since I actually had somewhat the same problem (my charging port melted from what I assume to be a faulty cable). I ordered the daughterboard like the one you linked from a Chinese seller, the phone booted up alright but it gets no service, so I'm just wondering if you've had success getting service after you changed the board? I also started my own thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/axon-7/help/a2017u-service-daughterboard-charging-t3841038

Yeah I did, I made sure that I connect the skinny one on the right as well as the main flex cable. The old daughterboard with the destroyed port gets service when I put it back in but the new one I got doesn't. So I was wondering if anyone has successfully used one of those daughterboards and gotten service.. Maybe the daughterboard comes from a Chinese version and is having trouble reading SIM from the American version of the stock ROM?

Check the contacts that touch on the antenna pads of the aluminum backplate. Maybe it's got something to do with that

That's checked as well, no problem there. Works with the old daughterboard but not the new one. I think that I got the Chinese version of the daughterboard and my phone is the American version... Was it the same for you when you changed your daughterboard/phone? Did you get service right away? If you have the US version, where did you get the board?
This is relevant to the OP as well since the replacement bought from Aliexpress most likely comes from an A2017 (Chinese) not A2017G(global) or A2017U (US).
