Turn off phone keypad tone?

I can't find a way to turn this off - can anybody help please? It's loud and horrible

Even though I dont own an HD2 (yet).. try going in settings tab then down the bottom choose "menu/all settings", then choose personal, then phone and sellect keypad "off".. take care

no worries... Its easy to get lost some times in wm, even more so when this is masked by htc sense ui

as i read the first reply i was like 'wtf?'

We almost need a thread called ,
"Everything you want to know about HD2 but were afraid to ask" ..
I know there are some things that I just missed that were staring me right in the face ...

Anyone know how to disable this through the registry? I'm trying to sort this out when XDA_UC runs.
I flash A LOT and it's a pain to do this every single time.

WTF-moment...

this is one of the most baffling things about WM. i always forget where this is located ever since my touch diamond days.

cheers m8 helped me as well, the keypad tone was really annoying and I had no clue in how to turn it off.

How do i turn off typing sound of messaging?
Hey i cant find any way to turn off keyboard sound during messaging...
When i set system volume from volume button to minimum then it also minimizes my sms alert volume...
I have turned off keypad tones from settings>personal>phone but it doesn't turn off keyboard sound during messaging...
please help me out!!!

How to change the vibrate?

I´ve searched in every forum but I cant find out how to change the vibrate?
Now when I get a calls i vibrates for like 10 sec, is there anyway to change it to shorter vibrate?

I am also looking for an answer on this question.
Anyone ?

I tried a cooked rom and it has a alternative vibrate pulse and ringer, but not both...
I think there should be a way to change the vibrate type...
Anyone has an idea??

umm not that difficult ...
from the home screen slide all the way over to settings,
Sound and Display and scroll down and tap Ring type
settings > Sound & Display >Ring type

[Q] Patterns for Soft Key Lights

I was wondering that different lighting Patterns of Soft Key Lights (i.e.Touch sensible Navigation buttons) is possible or not ??
Eg. After unlocking the phone the Soft Key Lights blinks in a pattern for a some time...

Yeah. Keep sending sms to urself every few seconds in silent mode. And u will get the blinking effect

This is Not Q&A

Tips and tricks

Download SetEdit app from playstore. Scroll down to heptic feed back. It will say 0. Edit to value 1 and save. Staying even after reboot. Back,home ect works.
Next for crappy fingerprint response do this. Erase all save prints. Now go to settings display and tick on touch sensitivity now go back and add new prints. Now go back and untick touch sensitivity. Mine reads faster and opens usually on first try

Samsung should have done this from the start, Samsung software is really slow sadly, probably my last device unless Samsung improve its device' performance.

So this might be whats doing it, make sure notification reminders is set to off because I know when I pick up my phone after I've gotten a notification the phone vibrates to let me know I missed something.
Just double checked it's in vibration intensity, which is buried in the sound settings. I promise. You can control when and how intense the vibration is.
