Short and sweet. I found this in one of my old Sony packages and am really digging the way it looks on my PRIV, thought I would share...

dang that's sexy. Can't wait!
looks pretty cool
It is for smartphone only, but it is really cool
Hi,
Came across this earlier today and looking at the screenshots (only designs/mock-ups of what is intended) i am looking forward to its release.

I believe something like that'll make Xperia more... well, you know. Hmmm... i wonder if someone'll do a Panel for Xperia that is similar to this, i would love to have that, even if one'd have to purchase the panel.
Best Regards.
Salman Khalid.
lot of arrogance i see...he is not willing to share it ..i think u can suggest him to make it for Xperia also.
If he does end up implementing it, i'm sure it'll be for various devices. None-the-less... it would definitely spice up the imaginations of others to come up with similar or better interfaces!
Hi Guys,
I hope everyone is well. I am new owner of an Xperia, and even more novice and realm of modding it.
This site is an immense resource and is probably a strong reason why people started loving their Xperias, despite the shortcomings. Anyway, excuse my ignorance, but I ran into this while being on YouTube:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=36YtZHXGCjA
My questions are:
1. Does anyone know what this is and how is this possible?
2. Has anyone tried using it or has access to whatever this entails?
Again, excuse my ignorance, should that be the case . Thank you for reading!
Fragger.
this looks like one of those chinese knock-offs. as far as i know, there isn't anything out yet for our real xperias that mimics an iphone's os
Ye don't bother it's a cheap knock off...I did a little research on them, they sell them on eBay shipped mainly from Asia. They don't have a slide out keyboard like the real X1.
They also do exactly the same ones in an iPhone shell. This guy does a pretty comical review of it, it uses the same operating system as the one from the video you posted by the looks of things. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=B2tVE7qRLwk&feature=channel_page
Stay clear I'd say!!!
well ... this one HAD a slideout keyboard.
people uptop dont know
its called iFonz i don't have it on my xperia but its an app that replicates the iphone ui
makes sense ^^
i knew that tool but never ever installed it nor watched a video about it. if i want an iphone ... i'd bought one
ahh I didnt watch the whole video but I've seen those fake X1s on ebay before.
It's a real Xperia in the video running S2U2 and iFonz.

What you are looking for is iFonz, as others have already mentioned. For some screens and info on it, visit my blog at: http://xperiancer.blogspot.com/2009/01/ifonz-iphone-for-windows-mobile.html
Just that too bad no one's made a panel to launch iFonz yet.
That would be cool, a Panel... but since iFonz is not add-on or replacement of the Today screen but rather comes on top of it... i don't mind using it as is either.
Does Ifonz run? I thought it had no wvga support

It sure does... http://xperiancer.blogspot.com/2009/01/ifonz-iphone-for-windows-mobile.html
Not WVGA support from the developers, yeah (as you can see from the bottom bar in landscape a little shy of the total width)... but it runs perfectly none-the-less.
Hi! I've been looking around for useless software for my HTC Rhodium and found some really useless apps I could not live without.
I was just having lunch and I thought about one that would be GREAT, and I could not find it yet: a cow noise maker. You know, one of those toys you turn upside down and they make an animal noise.
I really know sh*t about programming, etc... but I would definately love to see this somewhere.
Well that is it. I know people will find this stupid, just know I do too.
I don't really know if you guys have seen it, Sharps Feel UX that the american design company FROG developed for them?
This would be an awesome thing to get to our phones, if we can get it ported. Since I don't know how to fix it all, I was thinking maybe there's a developer somewhere out there who knows.
I'll post a link to it, and people can discuss it, I think it looks so awesome, the UI is something completely new, and it has this smart lockscreen. Well, all I can say is, even though it's a "shell" UI, it's one of the best looking I've ever seen.
Oh goddammit, since I'm a "new" member (which I'm not, been a member here for ages but haven't been posting much, I'm not allowed to put up links, so if anyone want to see it, they can Google it, or just send me a PM and I'll give you the link, the video can be found on Vimeo by searching for "Sharp AQUOS Android Smartphone - Feel UX".
I don't think it's out even in Japan yet. Too soon to tell.
Would love to get that phone just for that interface! Love it!
Yeah, I know it hasn't been released yet, but I thought it would be good for our dear devs to know about it some time before, to decide if it's worth trying to get ported to our device.
It seems like the phone itself looks quite nice aswell.
it would be awesome to have it on our SGS
That is an awsome UI. Hope someone will port it.
