I use motorola atrix 4g(rooted) from AT&T. A few days ago, I deleted google play store by accident. So I click "factory reset" and erase everything. Then I reboot atrix, enter "fastboot" mode, choose "Android Recovery". Now I figure out I don't have ClockworkMod Recovery. So I cannot find anything but the warning sign. Can I still fix it somehow? Any suggestion would be welcome with great appreciate!

I didn't unlock the bootloader. Can I still do it? If possible, how can I flash recovery then? Thank you so much!

Hey guys. I just put the new JB leak on my razr m and rooted it using motofail2go. First of all, my root doesn't work so I tried re-flashing it. Didn't work. Then I tried to reboot into recovery and it sits at the screen with the android with the red triangle. I have no clue what I did wrong... can someone please help me before I freak out? lol
You used to be able to press volumne up+down and it would go into recovery from there...

On the screen with android you have to hold volume down and tap volume up (with down still held) to access the recovery menu.
So I tried going into recovery mode and ever since the update it won't allow me. Just shows the android laying down and says "no command" what am I doing wrong? Just trying to wipe cache.

you need to hold the power button and hit the volume keys from that screen to get to recovery.

That's what I did and I selected "recovery Mode" which was highlighted in red. Then it says no command.

You need to do that after you select recovery mode.
Sounds like a missing recovery... might need to reflash TWRP
Me too. Untethered Recovery. What can I do?
Sr for my English.
Boot into bootloader then scroll to recovery and press power button to select recovery.
Then u press and hold the power button and click volume down then it will open the recovery options.

That's not the problem, it stops morons from accessing it and messing with it then calming that it deleted all their stuff which it's their fault not anyone elses.
@scoot0073 said the exact steps.
Download the latest twrp from twrp.me to your computer. Once you have that boot your phone to the bootloader - power and volume down. After that simply plug in your phone, open a cmd/terminal in the folder where the twrp-xxx file is. then run this.
Code:
fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.0.2-1-angler.img
If that version doesn't work, try 3.0.2
That's my suggestion! Hope it works.
PS: The last time I was on Android N I had to decrypt. Not sure if that is still required.
When you see the Android lying on its back, you are in recovery mode. From there, your need to hold power and tap volume up. That will give you the different recovery menu options like install from adb, wipe, etc.

I have a solution for this..
As it happened with me as well..
Just.. Press and hold the power button
Then.. double click the volume button..
This will surely work for u..!!
Hi, I have a Galaxy S4 i9505 running TWRP 3.0.2-0 jfltexx. I am having a problem where TWRP won't boot up when using the key combination of Volume UP + Home + Power, it will show up with the Galaxy S4 screen then at the top left corner it will show kernel not seandroid enforcing, recovery booting. Then it will boot to a black screen and then after 3 seconds it will vibrate and boot into android like it normally does. However on Flashify (Android App for flashing) I click the 'Reboot to Recovery' Button it boots into TWRP and it runs like a charm.
Android is running completely fine, stock 5.0.1.
Help will be appreciated.
UPDATE : SOLVED, Thanks to @QueryVillain
Solution :
1) Volume up + Power button while device is off
2) As soon as you see something in upper left corner, release both buttons and you will be booted to recovery
Try TWRP 2.87 to see if you still have the same problem.

Sorry for the late reply, but ok i'l try it out.
The actual key combo is volume up + power button. Home button is not necessary.

I flashed TWRP 2.8.7.0 and i'm having the exact same issue, just a black screen then about 3 to 5 seconds in, it will vibrate and show Galaxy S4 screen and boot to android.
Similar behaviour started to happen to me after flashing new bootloader via ODIN, but instead of booting to Android, my phone just turns off. At first I thought recovery got overwritten, but I still could boot into it from Android restart menu
What works for me:
1) Volume up + Power button while device is off
2) As soon as you see something in upper left corner, release both buttons and you will be booted to recovery

Doesn't matter anymore, Thank you so much! Other members told me to flash stock rom again, but I didn't want to lose all my stuff and go through backing up process.

Normally, while trying to get into recovery, you hold the buttons until it vibrates and then release.
If you don't release the buttons (the power button especially), the phone will turn off at some point.

Just press once volume up and power button together when you see the no command
You will get the recovery
I have a nokia 6 1025 (ex-AmazonPrime) flashed via OST with june firmware, and update via sd card recovery with ota updates until december. Then I flashed Oreo Beta in january.
All worked fine.
Now i want to update to Oreo final. The zip is in the SD card, but when i try to put in recovery mode there is only the "no command" message.
I tried to get into recovery with both methods, with volumeup+power keys, and with "adb reboot recovery". Always the same "no command" message
The suggested solution, pressing volumeup and power together does not work.

Try pressing them together few times, its lil tricky
If it still doesn't work, then flash back mena firmware and then update till January patch, then install the final oreo, do not install beta oreo
You forget to press home button.
It should be volumeup+power+home button together.

No Command screen, what from there?
My Nokia 6 suddenly stopped recognizing my security pattern the other day. I have tried to do the Hard Reset (+ and Power and "home" buttons), and finally managed to get to a screen that read "No Command" and had a little green guy lying on his back. What am I supposed to do from there? I apologize for asking such a basic question, but I am completely lost. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!
When you at "no command" screen press Volume UP & Power simultaneously, then release Power button to get into recovery menu.
Thank you - how long after you release the Power button do you continue to hold the + button? Nothing happened for the longest time, and then the phone just rebooted (back to the Pattern screen, where it says I'm doing it wrong). I will get it back to "No Command" and try again. I really appreciate your help. (I've tried three times now, same thing happens each time.)

I have a Samsung galaxy s5, phone keeps rebooting into recovery mode tried wiping cache partition, factory reset all failing to work. now want to install custom firmware but the reboot to bootloader function wont work it quickly flashes a no command screen then goes back to Android recovery screen. How can I get past this?
Flash it thru Odin, whichever is supported right now, then unlock the bootloader for custom roms. If you dont know the process of unlocking bootloader then ask me when you finish installing official firmware via odin
