[Q] Google Now - No Notification icon shows up

Hi,
I'd like to know if it's actually default google now behaviour or not. When ever weather cards / traffic updates show up, I only get to know about it if i pull down the notification panel. No icon (the car and the cloud) appears on the status bar. Is there any way to enable this? I notice it appearing only when I select it via the halo (Nexus 4 - ParanoidAndroid / CrDroid] Is it like this for everyone?

I'm specifically speaking about these kind of notification icons. They never appear!

How can I get all sms notifications to show the full content in the status bar? At the moment it just shows 'New Message'.

Make sure this is ticked on.

But, if you wanna see all notifications in expanded form, you may try Xposed Settings and install the module called Wanam Kit or Theme Manager. These have the options mentioned.

To remove gallery sign in request from notification pannel

Guys my note 4 is not signing in g mail account for gallery and annoying notification stay in notification pannel i can't remove it and when i tap on it it shows loading information and then closes automatically

Go to setting-accounts-google-click on your account-uncheck Picasa Web album sync.
Should do the trick

Or you can also long press on the notification, it will show you that it is google play services. Click on the setting icon, then there you will find something like turn off notifications.

Gmail syncing/notification issue

Well for some reason I'm not getting any notifications from Gmail on my lock screen I already added my gmail account and synced it so I'm not sure what to do now.
I keep my phone on powersave mode and have sync enabled in the drop down menu if that matters?
My S6 would sync, notify me right away when I would receive a email?

Wow, did power save mode on lollipop do the same also?

I get no notifications at all on my lock screen. Am I supposed to?

When I get a email, usually I get a notification on my lockscreen, been that way for me since lollipop S6

Push Notifications Not Working after root.

Hello All.
For some reason, after rooting my S5, I am not recieving push notifications for any apps. I though it was a problem with just Mymail, but it looks like it isnt.
The box for 'Show notifications' is ticked in settings.
I have attached screenshots, if they help.

No that is not the problem. Push notifications do not work for any app, after I rooted the phone.
Are there any specific services which need to be running?
I have attached screenshots of what one app said, "Register for Push Notications' has a cross.
I have tried changing the heartbeat with an app from play store, but it has not helped either....
