Hi,
With my A5 2016, i just received update with Nougat 7.0 but didn't like the organization of parameters.
Can i downgrade into Marshmallow 6.0.1 easily? Just flash PDA file with odin?
Thank you for your help.

(tested with my A310F)
Thanks for you answer.
What about Bootloader, it will not make problem? Or must i flash with 4 files.
Thanks.

Bootloader (the one introduced with 6.01) allows only stock 6.01 and 7.0 to be used AFAIK.
More important is to remember to make full wipe data/cache.

I am trying to downgrade from 7.0 to 6.0.1.
I have downloaded both files from Sammobile for my phone and area and provider.
The Nougat one works with Odin, but when I try to flash the Marshmallow I get a fail
There are 2 files on Sammobile for 6.0.1 but I have tried both of them
I have just tried after a factory wipe and cache clear via recovery mode
Any advice please?
I think you must search for firmware with 4 files.

You can't downgrade to kitkat 4.4.4 because the bootloader in 5.1.1 is locked .but you can flash android 5.1.1 ...
go to kies and do recovery fw installation
Just flash 5.1.1 Stock Rom for 910C via Odin.

Hi..my note 4 910c is shutting down automatically..
I folowed few instructions and found thats happening after System update to marshmallow
I have found and went to safe mode uninstall /disabled some apps which I don't use and after updating I have wiped cache.
After doing all this I have found that my phone has not shut down of 2 hours of usage
benefits of doing that is I found it is charging better thwn before..
Any idea or suggestions?
If you have installed the latest OS updates for Marshmallow. You can no longer downgrade from Marshmallow to Lollipop.
When will i be able to update my S5 to the latest android (6.0) ?
Baseband version: SM-G900FZHS1BPG1 (region TGY) unlocked
Whenever you flash it from here
http://updato.com/firmware-archive-select-model?r=&v=Marshmallow(Android+6.0.1)&q=G900F

Yes but I'm unable to find a firmware for my specific device CSC (the one i mentioned above)
I see all other Galaxy S5's from Europe got updated to 6.0.1 but my (TGY Region) one still can't...
Can i flash an S5 firmware that doesnt corespond to my model? If i install the SM-G900FXX.... will it brick my phone?
As long as it's for the G900F you won't brick it
i actually worked !
just had to wipe data factory reset afterwards !
hello im wondering if someone if could help or point me in the direction im trying to root S6 edge+ sm-g9287 and possibly downgrade from nougat to MM thank you.
I believe that downgrading from Nougat to MM is as easy as just flashing stock MM firmware in Odin. Problems occur if returning from Nougat to Lollipop, but Nougat to MM should be easy. Just download stock MM firmware from Sammobile, and flash it via Odin

Hi,
I am trying to downgrade my Galaxy J5 Prime (SM-G570Y) from Android 7.0, back to Android 6.0.1 (for some reasons). I have selected the 4 files (BL, AP, CP, CSC) in Odin for flashing. I have tried several methods to downgrade, but Odin keeps saying "FAIL!". Is there a solution for this?
Current Android 7.0 (Nougat) version on my phone:
G570YDXU2BRC1 (with Android Security Patch Level of 1 March 2018)
Planning to downgrade to Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) of version:
G570YDXU1AQG1 (with Android Security Patch Level of 1 July 2017)
CSC used on my phone:
Philippines (Open Line) - XTC
Thank you in advance!

I have this same problem to i want to downgrade because i want to fix my baseband and IMEI.
But looking and searching the sites and other forums i still don't find that is possible yet as there is not U2 android 6 available. Since the android 7 have security level U2 and can't go back to U1 (G570YDXU2BRC1 android 7 & G570YDXU1AQG1 android 6.0.1)
I guess we just have to root the phone and try other methods to fix IMEI and baseband.

Some people say downgrading bootloader can be possible through combination file ect but if u never use that file then don't, u can do more harm then good.
Otherwise no bootloader can't be downgraded and your stuck with pie
Search Search Search! Don't be stupid, Samsung bootloader nowaday cannot be downgrade (e.g from U5->U4)...the security check will not pass nor flashing is not possible!
