Xiaomi Redmi 3S Lineage 28May Issue

Hello.
So i've flashed Lineage 28May Build and this automaticly encrypt my device ...
I've read on the internet that if the device is encrypted the flash process is a bit diferent.
I've read about wipe data cache dalvik and system
wipe data cache dalvik system and internal storage
And flash adb ...
So, now i tried to go to TWRP and it just apears Mi Logo!
Not booting into any recovery (Stock or TWRP)
I've installed Miui.eu and the recovery is ok
I flash Lineage and i can't boot into recovery anymore ...
What to do?
Issues :
1 - Can't boot into TWRP
2 - What process is to flash a new Lineage Rom? ( I want to decrypt my device to flash more easily)
I really need help ...
I don't know if my bootloader is unlocked or locked right now, because i flashed too many roms ...
Need help !

1)Try to reflash twrp from fastboot mode.(if you can't do this, then your bootloader is locked. And no matter how many roms you install, bootloader, once unlocked remains unlocked, untill you lock purposefully).
2)In twrp wipe cache, dalvik, and if necessary data for clean installation.
3) Once any custom ROM is installed, while in mi logo , you cannot directly boot to twrp. You have to go to fastboot and from there boot to twrp.
4) First install only ROM. Once it gets installed turn it on. Once it successfully turns on, then you can install gapps ( this is not always necessary to be followed)
5) formatting data completely will decrypt your device. Just goto format data and type "yes". You need not goto advanced wipe.

Just a little question about upgrade

Hey,
My Mi A1 have TWRP, Magisk, and bootloader unlocked on Android 8.1.0, but I want to upgrade to Android 9 and go back to full stock device (bootloader lock and original TWRP), my question is, what i need to do before ? Just flash with miflash latest rom and check clean all and lock or I need to go back to stock on Android 8.1.0 and do ota update to Android 9 ?
Thanks )
You can wipe everything in twrp and then flash this
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Uh4CR2-MXBYsSQL6BTnv4xpkCjEh7ZFn/view?usp=drivesdk
Then you can lock it.
Just make a twrp backup and save it to your sdcard or computer , just in case.

Can I flash stock EEA/Global ROM with unlocked BL and Orange Fox recovery?

Hey guys,
I'm using PixelExperience_lavender-10.0-20191024-1420-BETA-OFFICIAL (Pixel Experience Beta Android 10) and an OrangeFox-R10.0_2-Stable-lavender (Orange Fox Recovery Project).
I have officially unlocked bootloader. Could I flash EEA/Global ROM using custom recovery with still having an unlocked bootloader? Or is it going to cause a boot loop/bricked device?
Or should I use some other way instead? MiFlash or XiaoMiTool?
Thanks for any kind responses

1. Do a clean flash of MIUI
2. Format the data partition
3. Boot MIUI
4. Wait for several minutes while MIUI boots up and encrypts your data
This should work. If it doesn't, then flashing a fastboot MIUI ROM with the Mi Flash tool would do the job (just make sure you don't accidentally lock your bootloader again).
Hey, I had same question 2 days ago when xiaomi realesed 11.0.3.. I was also on PE 10 and same ofox version... on telegram ppl told me that I should just download zip, format data/full wipe and then flash latest miui global so I did and now im on miui with unlocked bootloader and also ofox recovery too. I remember old times when It was impossible to flash global miui through twrp on xiaomi mi5 (2 years ago) thats why I asked on telegram cuz was worry about brick but all is fine bro good luck!

Thanks! Worked like a charm. However, I was a bit disappointed in the Global and EEA version of MIUI 11. So after a while, I just switched to xiaomi.eu ROM and I'm quite happy now. There are just a few things I still quite hate about MIUI that are not resolved in xiaomi.eu ROM. Thank you again for your help though.

Hi,
Is it not better to first format data, then wipe (system, data etc) and thén do a clean flash of miui? Or does it not matter?

1. There is no point wiping system or vendor. This is done automatically during the process of flashing MIUI.
2. There is no point wiping data after you have already formatted data.

Is the clean flash of miui not wiped also? Not first wipe format data and then flash miui? If you use flash tool, how can you prevent that the bootloader gets locked?

From your instructions:
1. Do a clean flash of MIUI
2. Format the data partition
My question was, is it not better to de nr. 2 first and then flash miui.. (that miui doesn't get wiped by the format ..)
Plus how can I prevent that the bootloader gets locked again.
Thanks!

You can do it that way - but it doesn't matter which comes first. Formatting data cannot wipe MIUI. The only thing that can wipe MIUI is wiping system and vendor - and you should never wipe either of them anyway.

Flashing a ROM with a recovery cannot lock your bootlooader.

Will this erase my orange fox custom recovery? So that I have to flash it again?(or does it remain..)

If you flash a fastboot MIUI ROM with the Mi Flash tool, yes, it will install the MIUI stock recovery - so you will have to flash OrangeFox again with "fastboot flash ..."

You must flash EU weekly rom according to what is given as instruction at their download page and nothing else.
Please read it again!

Problem flashin custom ROM, TWRP doesn't stay and other PLEASE HELP

Hi guys, this is my problem. Got MI9T with Android 10 (miui 11) 128GB, and I wanna install Pixel Experience. So, those are my steps until the problem :
1) Bootloader unlocked
2) After this, with TOOL ALL IN ONE.exe, I installed TWRP and everything ok.
3) Wiped EVERYTHING (data, cache, dalvik etc.)
4) here problem) When I wipe data also PE.ZIP is deleted from smartphone, so I plugin smartphone to pc to transfer it again. But when I go to C:/MI9T, I couldn't transfer ANY FILE because memory available was ZERO. 0/128GB, and I don't know why. So I was stuck on TWRP and I had to reinstall stock rom with MiFlash.exe.
(QUESTION: do I have to flash also vbmeta to keep twrp?)
I did the same process on RedmiNote5 but was easier because I had microsd with everything on.
Please if someone could help .. thank you so much
Hello, you just need to reboot to recovery if you can't transfert from PC after wiping/formating data.

No reboot to system, reboot to recovery, you have that option in Twrp...
