Hi all,
first of all this is not my work, only sharing it
In her i can find stock untouched lollipop rom for the P7000 u can use over the air (OTA) or if like me u prefer a clean install just check below.
First you need MTK drivers
Then Flashtool to install it on your phone

just a little question...what do you suggest if I have an Elephone with build 20150521? I tried to update through FOTA but is disabled. Where can I find the next build 20150525? I succeded finding build 20150529 but not that one...

You should flash the most recent version with the flashing tool.

I need an advice.
Since I have received my Elephone, it has build P7000_20150521.
Following the advice of a user, i rooted my phone in order to make a full backup of the OS i have now (i did it through the recovery), considering that without root it was impossible have a full backup.
The build i have now 20150521 has some problems of flickering brightness (and of lockscreen, impossible to change image), so i wanted to update to 20150529 in order to fix problem of brightness.. I have read on Elephone forum that that one is considered the most stable one. I would keep 20150521 but it seems that the flickering brightness damages the phone in some way.
So... those who have updated (i have read that my build must be updated through flashtool because 20150521 hasn't the OTA update) the phone can suggest me the most stable build? Thank you in advance

And it is running pretty smooth so far, even the 'swipe up' in the homescreen feels more refined and less prone to open the whole app menu instead of the last used apps. One cool thing is the weather in the lock screen seems to be working, the testing continues but so far so good !

What version of twrp are you using? Does it decrypt data?
I have had to use version 3.2.0 with usb-otg method for flashing zips. The later versions do not recognize the usb-otg partition.

I always fastboot boot twrp 3.2.1.0 and then flash stuff from internal storage. I don't have problems with decrypting I guess.

Magisk 16.4 beta for myself.

bad battery life
Hi Guys! Is it just me, or the battery life on this version sucks ?
I have almost only the half of the battery at end of the day compared to the previous preview version (and 8.1).
I don't think I use anything different, no new applications. Even using the same apps (like google news, chrome, plum) make the phone go hot.
Does anyone have the same problems?

I used it as a daily driver from release until yesterday. I only dumped it because my kids wanted me to play pokemongo with them and it wouldn't login on the beta. Aside from that one issue (and google pay not working) it was perfect.

My sentiments exactly........pretty perfect indeed

confirmed, looks like it was a PTC login issue.

How is the battery life for you guys so far?
Edit: Couldn't wait for an answer and flashed it anyway.
Working great so far. Battery life seems to be the same compared to Oreo. Few things I noticed:
1. As someone already mentioned here, the brightness levels must have changed somehow. I usually use my phone at 15 to 25 % indoors. Have to set it to 35 to 40 % now.
2. Weather doesn't appear on lock screen, but other people seem to be affected by this as well.
3. The back button (new layout) sometimes closes an app instead of going back within the app.
4. Fixed my problems with Smart Lock. It didn't work from time to time on Oreo. Now it's working fine.

Yes it's safe but i dont recommend you to flash it, it has a lot of lags and bugs. Wait for some more to get more stable builds.

Have you tried It? I want to test MIUI 12 but not really sure about the Daily usage of It, It can be used for Daily Driver (until Xiaomi.eu build)? I'll install GS and MoreLocale obv.

I flashed the rom on my Redmi Note 7s from the link mentioned above via orange fox recovery (it showed corrupt zip file in twrp). It booted up but its very laggy. System app keeps stopping. Situation worsens with full screen gestures, wifi connected and more. Not good as a daily driver. Wait until they work on it a bit more.

Thanks a lot, a guy on Xiaomi EU forum wrote that the rom have Google Services too (and you just Need to download Play Store from the Mi Store), is It true or GPS installer is needed?

Can i install it on my resmi note 7 lavender and revert back to xiomi.eu beta rom if ever theres a problem?

I installed the Beta Miui 12 but the system have some bug, sometimes have a block of systemui or Launcher. I suggest to wait a official update.

I can't find any lag on this rom, using it from 2 days and runs pretty smooth, also battery is good, i come from Stock EU ROM, flashed It with orangefox after a full wipe, i have problems only with contacs Sync with Google but overall performance are ok

I experienced a lot of lag, for example in the system UI, opening the notifications panel or Quick settings was very slow, and may result in a frozen screen, which became usable after some time.
I did a full wipe, data system, internal storage so it doesn't come from that.

Bad experience for me, some lags in System UI or launcher, blocks for screen, and flashed it with orange fox recovery, full wipe and format data. I don't know why, but this is...

Crazy battery drain after update OTA 12.0.2.0

Does anyone how to really fix batery drain on MIUI 12.0.2.0 QFJMIXM?
I made a reset, turn off bluetooth,nfc,gps, stop msa, mba services, nothing works for me in this update vs miui 11, my battery life decrease 50%.
When I try to reinstall this last update, Ota system never found.

Had the same...3h sot on 1 day... horrible
I'm gone to Paranoid, second days, 4h sot ans 32% left. Not excellent but better !

me too, i got +2 days standby (cell + wifi only) with miui 10, a litlle less with miui11, and 12 went crap (with android system using the most like you)
tried what i could find to fix it, but nothing helped. plus miui12 had a bunch of bugs.
luckily i did a full backup before installing miui12. i went back to miui11
maybe in future builds they fix it, but for now, does not worth it for me.

Do you suggest a better android 10 rom?
At this moment you use a old MIUI or a rom?

Im using the Global EEA MIUI 11.0.6.0, which is the latest one before MIUI12. instaled using the recovery rom with TWRP.
i tested briefly LineageOS, but in actuality, MIUI is more "customizable" to my likings, and LineageOS feels a bit basic. The "extra" options is the MIUI have is great for me.
i would have tested PixelExperience Plus, but got firmware errors on installing, an as i'm not familiar with the firmware arena yet (i prefer a phone than a paper weight ), i only tested Lineage prior to downgrading MIUI12 > MIUI11

Yes, Pixel Experience Plus has definitively much better battery life! I have 8-9 hours SOT (see screenshot)
Btw: Firmware flashing isn't a big deal. There's not much you can do wrong.

The problem like appear android system, have any app to know whats process killing battery to stop?

gsam battery monitor can show details, but in my findings the consuming wakelocks are needed system components , and not something you can disable and fix it.

appears that xiaomi is the one that needed to fix this, unless we have a ninja here that can do their job.
i would do more testing but this is my main phone and i can't spend days without it, testing fresh installs and trying to find the root causes by trial and error

Disable wifi and bluetooth location scanning
Check your autostart apps
Go to Settings/Privacy protection/tap on "Manage"/Special permissions/Battery optimization and optimize everything, especially Xiaomi service framework
Disable Pocket mode
Turn off AOD

i had done all of this and other things, since i started using miui11. in my case wasn't enough to make the "android system" to reduce battery usage in miui12.
i started to disable fingerprint unlock, uninstalled most of my apps, removed magisk, mods, etc (they may be the cause of problems) and still, nothing visible changed.
don't know if this is a problem everyone having or only a few.

Install Magisk, get a root file explorer.
Go to /dev/diag, set this file's permissions to 666. See if it helps.

Up to you. I think I saw it on 11 too, not sure if that's the same problem.
I just know it's a recurring one for our device

How is 1.5.2 after update? Any bugs or issuses to report? What is the oeverall feel of the OS?

No problems on my side after 24h, even the battery consumption improved.

Yeap , same to me , I've made local update as well and all is better . Transitions , fluidity , stability , camera is a little bit better in low light , there are more rings on glyph and battery management is improved . I' m very pleased because of these significant changes .

Hi, how is the way to update from version 1.1.8, I tried by OTA, and ADB but in both cases, it is not possible.

No. But everyone should have gotten the update before the end of last week. (yesterday)
Edit: Could not wait so i used @ot_inc fastboot ROM guide. Works flawlessly for thoose who want it eagerly.

Yeap , I know , stable A13 is something else . I was not enrolled as well and I did update through local update from "update tracker" . What I ment , was there won't be any updates for non beta program participants (with beta A13) .

Yeah. Google Pay still broken on official 1.5.2. Says that device may be rooted or have uncerfied software
Anyone else with the same problem? Banking app works but cant use Google pay(Wallet)

Usually I don't use Google Wallet but by curiosity I checked it and it works . No problem at all . I'm on NOS 1.5.2

Try deleting data for google play services and google play store
