Do you know why the camera "lag" when there is not much brightness ?

There is almost more image per second... In video mode there is no problem!

I know it's very late, but yes I have the same problem, do you know any fix?
Thats not lag , in low light conditions your phone does it to take photos with less noise

wonderful man !! ...only a question...do you know why in the TF3D is pixeled instead...when you are choosing the image for the background the image doesen't look pixeled ...????

this one WORK !!!!!! you have to use mortscript .... launch the script and after set the wallpaper in the flder like TF3D background i don't think it's very difficoult...right ? -.-
and if dosen't work try whit the default theme !

I imagine that is TF3D darkens the background.

Actually, when you set a pircture, even from an Hi-quality or 800*480 picture, the image is downgraded to lower resolution and higly compressed (?)

i dnt think there is a way to gt it the quality ur after. u can trycropping the image, sum hv reportd it helps. other ways of doing it is by editing sum manila file.
u'll prob gt a more informed response soon lol.
if there is a succesful wsy of doing it, id b vry interested in knowing how, as current quality is kind of rubbish..

Ass compresse texture... even if source is Jpeg (already compressed) or PNG (really better quality)

Do a search and you will see about 3 threads talking about this problem.
In one the threads, an email from HTC had mentioned that it was downgraded for performance issues or something like that and it wasn't possible.

Take picture with Camera, review with HTC Sense via Albums, notice that the colour of the pic distorted in the album page but not when full mode picture preview...
Any known solution to this ??

Its a known bug, its the same with my HD2. I have read reports its been fixed on the latest rom but cannot confirm, there is another thread about this issue somewhere.

im having this problem with my hd2, it records blurry in mms video recording mode, regular video recording is fine , anybody has a solution to this, i did a hard reset and nothing, i have a factory rom and radio nothing extra, install the camera fix from htc and still the same any help ????...

strangely with the 1.46 ROM, MMS video (as well as other format) was working as expected ( no blur of any kind) ... did you apply any vid tricks ? Personnally, I did but can't say if related ...
this is wat a customer service representative email me .
Te reason why it turns blurry is because MMS videos are at aresolution 174x144, but the resolution on the HD2 is 480x800 when in portrait mode, and 800x400 in camera / landscape mode, The blur is caused by the device inflating the 144 part of the resolution to match the 480 of the screen , This means that the video, as u r shooting it, is displayed at 3 times bigger then it actually is, basically, the phone is functioning exactly like it should, and there is not a way to improve the resolution of the video , it is locked in at 174x144.
so basically we r stuck with this blurry mms video ?

If I read you correctly, stock ROM won't help ... but I have the feeling that without flashing, it was much better ... and how is that nobody else is reporting the very same problem ???

yup stock Rom won't help ,and if it doesn't fix itself with a stock Rom flashing im out of ideas..........

Hi, i noticed some promblems in this rom and maybe you know what's the problem.
-Poor image quality, for example settings background, but when i take screenshot it looks good, really strange
-Compass is not working for me, neither radio do.
