Trying to get LG Bridge up and running, i gather that i need to enable MTP mode from the USB options. There isnt an MTP option on my 870DS?! Any suggestions?

Update: Disabling debugging mode allowed the driver to be found... DUH!
I can't seem to get MTP mode to work on my XP laptop. Been trying to use the Google driver in \Android\android-sdk-windows\extras\google\usb_driver but it just won't take it. The Asus site doesn't seem to have a driver either. I can use ADB by switching to PTP, but I'd really like MTP to work. I installed PDAnet but that also did not work. Any help appreciated.
Hello guys,
I just got my n10 and I love it I have one problem though. I have installed sdk and Google drivers, but still, the n10 doesn't show up in my computer, when plugging it in the computer. I've had no problems with my Nexus SIII or previous Android phones, so i'm kind a clueless on what could be wrong. I've enabled usb debugging also.
When changing the mode to camera mode on the n10, it works - an icon appears and i can transfer files.. Thats pretty odd, huh?
Any ideas? I would be grateful
The N10 does not do mass storage mode. It will only show up as a media device.

Click to collapse
That was what I meant.. My bad But it doesn't show up as a media device
Uninstall the Android ADB driver (uninstall driver software too when it asks), and then hotplug the N10 from the computer, and MTP should work. You can then reinstall the ADB driver and MTP should still work.
At least on my machine, I have to reinstall the ADB driver if MTP doesn't just want to work.
I cannot get ADB to recognize my Note 7. I've installed the ADB & FastBoot 15-second install from the XDA forum, but when I plug my N7 into the PC it only recognizes it as a USB drive.
Dev options enabled,
USB Debugging enabled
USB configuration (MTP mode)
The only entries under Other in Device Manager are CDC and MTP, no Android Device. The phone is also listed under Portable Devices. No USB mode brings up "Android" in the list of devices under Other.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Do you have proper Samsung usb drivers installed? Check your device manager, just asking sometimes phones can be finicky when trying to get the PC to recognize devices.
Thanks carelockh! That did the trick. I looked in Device Manager and found that only the Windows USB device driver was installed. I downloaded and installed the Samsung driver and was able to connect over ADB.
No problem, anytime glad I could help.
When connecting to PC, Device is Charging But Options Of USB Configuration For Selecting MTP, PTP ,Charging etc. are not available.
ANY SOLUTIONS ?????
Hi guys,
I'm trying to connected to Nexus 6P (8.1) from my Pc
I connect it and it charges, but there's no ability to see its files. I've tried the following:
Changing USB Configuration in Developer Options to/from MTP.
Switching USB ports on computer (neither USB 2.0 / 3.0 Nothing)
Switching computers ( no luck)
Switching cables (no luck)
Switching Windows 10/7 (no luck)
Looking for the device manager on Windows- doesn't show up
Enabling/disabling USB debugging
Downloading Nexus Root Toolkit to download drivers (says "ADB device was not found." USB debugging has no effect)
Please help!
