Anyone having issues with the new magisk 13 update? I don't know if it's a problem with experimentalx kernal or something else. It works fine till I shut off the screen! If I turn off the screen then the screen stops responding and it soft boots on me. Kinda weird I tried 13.0 13.1 and 13.2 to no avail.

I use cleanslate and have had no issue with 13.1 or 13.2.
Sounds good thanks. I probably need to do that then someday. Lol

Just for my info what kernal are you using? Stock?

I use ElementalX and have for a long time. Also running Magisk for a while. No modules. A cache mod to plug in my own boot animation, but otherwise stock, rooted, S-OFF, bootloader unlocked. Zero issues.

I was previously running PacMan and Ktoonz 4.3 from 10-30 with the latest TWRP. Decided to try some KitKat goodness, so I switched over to the latest CWM and flashed a few ROMs. After messing around with them for a few days, I decided I wanted the stability and customization back, so I went back to TWRP and flashed PacMan. However, when I tried to flash KToonz, got a bootloop. So, I tried Trinity....and Franco....both with bootloops. Yes I used the 4.3 versions. I clean flash, wiping everything(yes everything), every time. Anyone else have any other ideas?

Have you tried using fastboot to reflash stock factory image manually? It seems the best way to get out of boot loop

Yes. I went back to 4.2. If I don't flash a kernel, everything is fine. ROM boots as it should. I looked into it a bit more just a few minutes ago and it appears that PAC changed something recently in there gerrits that the kernel devs haven't updated for yet, so it looks like flashing any kernel will result in a bootloop.

How is everyone's wifi since kitkat update. Mine keeps loosing connection and have to toggle wifi off and on to reconnect. I have flashed the modded version on my d802 with custom recovery.

This one here. Though I have not had to since last night. Seems irregular intervals.

i flashed the same rom also. i may try cloudystock rom to see if the issue still occurs. i will let you know if i still have the same problem.
I have just noticed it only happens on wifi just on Google apps. Gmail, app store but ebay and the rest is fine. Just uninstalled updates and cleared data and reupdated to see if it fixes it.

Think I'm going back to jelly bean as not impressed with kitkat. If I can downgrade.

So, I've read that all lg g2 kit kat roms wether they're stock or not, suffer from random reboots.
Had anyone find a cause or a way to minimize these? They're driving me nuts. Happens all the time.

I don't get any on the latest PA, 5/20, by Houston. I've got a d800, too.

I didn't got any random reboots until now. The first days I used the original Kitkat, and now CM11 nightly. Any problems...
Just got slimkats new unofficial build that is true KitKat and haven't had any problems with it!

I had random reboots on stock kernel for KitKat stock Roms... But once I installed dorimanx kernel my phone has been running smooth ever since!
because its a rooted phone, so stock kernels doesn´t work correctly under KK
V20G solved my random reboots issue, hyuray

Same situation, I tried to do wipe system, data, internal storage, cache and Dalvik Cache, also only ROM (no gapps) and does not work
v400 - twrp 2.8.5
Yeah, mine hangs on starting apps. I've tried multiple install scenarios. ROM w/o gapps. ROM with banks 6.0, ROM with opengapps 6.0. I get the same thing every time. Unfortunately too, our device got love before alot of others

How do you remove the # icon in status bar? Install supersu 2.5.2?
Report one bug: double tap to wake not working even when enabled in settings.

The icon is only visible if you have a root app running, same here with tap to wake.
This is running pretty great. No double-tap to wake yet, though.
Anyone able to install themes? I get "failed to install theme error" I tried setting selinux to permissive no luck.
Anyone else unable to install of the last two nightlies overtop the first CM13 nightly?
Runs like a lame flea ridden dog
Might be a little quirky but not completely terrible, not sure if this is a newer build. Also using a uk410 but I think it's the same as a v410 as all of the roms I've tried have no issues... Will report anything really screwy...
I don't understand the reason why v400 roms are posted inside the v700 forum.
Are they compatible? Can I flash them on my G Pad 10.1 without bricking it?

If it's rooted and you have TWRP installed, you might want to back up stock first. Other than that, download CM13 and open apps and install. No problems.
Hi, I'm running stock Android 7.1.1 (N4F26O) on my rooted Nexus 6p with twrp installed. I just got the android 7.1.2 (NPF05F) Beta update. I tried installing it with flashfire. Flashfire kept stopping at 7%. Is there any way I can install the update without losing root
Sorry for bad english.

Same here. Mine crashes while uncrypting at 22%.
I am also experiencing this issue.
Try removing root, go back to a completely stock rom - wait for 7.1.2 then download it. Let the phone update to 7.1.2 without using flash fire.

Obviously that will work. But we aren't trying to lose the ROM, kernel, recovery, root for a beta

Everyone needs to calm down and wait! If you are not willing to go back to a full stock build, just wait until someone creates a flashable zip version. This is nothing new here. Factory ota's rarely if ever are comparable with aftermarket kernels, recoverys or root.
