So, I've read that all lg g2 kit kat roms wether they're stock or not, suffer from random reboots.
Had anyone find a cause or a way to minimize these? They're driving me nuts. Happens all the time.

I don't get any on the latest PA, 5/20, by Houston. I've got a d800, too.

I didn't got any random reboots until now. The first days I used the original Kitkat, and now CM11 nightly. Any problems...
Just got slimkats new unofficial build that is true KitKat and haven't had any problems with it!

I had random reboots on stock kernel for KitKat stock Roms... But once I installed dorimanx kernel my phone has been running smooth ever since!
because its a rooted phone, so stock kernels doesn´t work correctly under KK
V20G solved my random reboots issue, hyuray

Stock Android 4.3 really is full of bugs, try a custom rom to see if that gives it a knock to the head.

I don't believe I have experienced any such bug with 4.3 - I believe the bugs you mention are on the side of devs not updating their apps for 4.3.
Instead of randomly flashing a ROM without knowing where the problem lies, consider trying to narrow down when exactly this problem occurs.
Can you reliably reproduce it?
It may be hardware related, being on stock at least rules out your problem is caused by bugs in a custom ROM.
Are you rooted? Did you overclock/undervolt with a custom kernel? Are you running any apps to modify the lockscreen?

Happened to mine too. When I make a phone call or when I receive one touch is unresponsive until lock and unlock.

This is between the surfaceflinger and the kernel which contains the touch driver.
Try using the Nexus Factory Image Flasher tool from Google Developers and see if that helps, this will wipe all your data and I mean ALL so move your files to an external source.

How is everyone's wifi since kitkat update. Mine keeps loosing connection and have to toggle wifi off and on to reconnect. I have flashed the modded version on my d802 with custom recovery.

This one here. Though I have not had to since last night. Seems irregular intervals.

i flashed the same rom also. i may try cloudystock rom to see if the issue still occurs. i will let you know if i still have the same problem.
I have just noticed it only happens on wifi just on Google apps. Gmail, app store but ebay and the rest is fine. Just uninstalled updates and cleared data and reupdated to see if it fixes it.

Think I'm going back to jelly bean as not impressed with kitkat. If I can downgrade.

What's going everyone? I'm having this auto-rotate bug on every Kitkat ROM other than LG Stock KK and I was told that it is the modem but I have no idea where to find a Stock KK modem for when I want to switch back to LG Stock KK. I have a T-Mobile LG G2 and I know where to find the older modem to fix auto-rotate but can't find LG KK modem for T-Mobile.. Anyone that can help would be greatly appreciated.

Awesome! You just saved me a couple ROM installs! It also fixed Google Camera app. I guess orientation device didn't work.
Ok, Since updating to kitkat the one that brought us the knock code srcurity, I've been having a few problems.
I have a SIM free D802 with 80220B kitkat OTA update and here are some of the problems.
1 battery life is halved
2 stock keyboard lags at times (one of being now as I'm swyping this)
3 quiet mode is intermittent and the set quiet mode timer doesn't work at all now.
4 all my lg apps including system and os have a date of 1970
I've tred factory reset and it's still the same.
Anyone else experiencing this?
Have i had a bad flash? If so how do i reflash the update?
Thanks in advance Andy

Are you sure you have knock code? As the 20b in my case did not have it. The 20d update had knock code.
You can Check for how to get back to stock tutorials and download your latest kdz.
Sent from my LG-D802 using Tapatalk
Yeah sorry it's 80220d it was a typo.
Sent from my LG-D802 using Tapatalk
So I'll have to download the kdz and reflash 80220D ?

I want to try to revert my T-Mobile g2 back to stock to see if it fixes my issue with getting good no GPS lock. I've tried several roms, both stock based and aosp, and can't get GPS to work. I've read some things that suggested reverting back to stock firmware may fix it.
So, my question is this. Do I go back to kitkat or Jellybean? Is it still not possible to root stock kitkat?

if you want to be able to root then go with jb because there still isn't a way to root d801 t-mo on kk
Well, I reverted to stock 4.2.2, and still no GPS. I called T-Mobile, and they're sending me a replacement phone ☺
