I would like mount a drive letter when i connect my gt6100 to windows xp,7.
It have nothing to do whether it use usb mass storage or mtp.
Is there any mothod, applications or apps to make this possible?
I tried many usage to resolve it(apps - toggle ums enable or disable. Sgs3(samsung galaxy s3) easy ums), but failed..
Any helpes will thanks.
sadly... no...
I think this problem is not on ICS, but on GT6800.
Galaxy S3 use also ICS and Some Apps support it to handle UMS.
I really wish somebody develope any Apps which handle UMS on GT6800.
Somebody knows how to enable UMS on this phone? It is not present on Android 4.1.2 and SGS3 Easy UMS does not work. It could not find an SD card, whether I mounted it or unmounted. I have a root access.
it's my probloem,too
USB Mass Storage is disabled in 4.1.* for original Android, and I guess LG developers might not want to make change to add it back. There are some workaround but would you mind trying ROMs other than Jellybean?
P.S. I can't post external link yet, do Google with keyword "android 4.1 usb mass storage" and you'll se.
I accidentally deleted some important photos which stored in my S4's internal SDCard. So I connected my phone to PC through USB cable, and plan to run some recovery tools from PC to get them back. However, when connected, my S4's identified as MTP (portable media device) rather than USB Mass Storage, therefore those recovery tools can't do anything.
I googled the net and found some apks that help my phone to switch between MTP/USB mode, however this method only works for external SDCard.
Any ways to retrieve accidentally deleted files? Thank you in advance!
p.s. I do heard about that flash TWRP in will help the PC identify the phone as a USB Mass Storage Device, is this true? If it's true, how do I do it?
Thx!!!

Thanks, but no this was exactly the app I used, it can't mount the internal card. If you read carefully the author also says 'It will never be able to export the internal storage on the device.' All my deleted pics are on the internal card so....
Hi. Can someone tell me how to connect note 3 like usb mass storage. I need ums to recover some data from phone. Is it posible without root?
Doesn't exist on stock Android since 4.3 (I think that or 4.4). Even with root, it still isn't there anymore.
