i think screen brightness in auto mod is too low,is there any way to increace the screen brightness without disabling auto brightness adjustment?(like nokia n95)

Just wondering if there's any mods or tweaks we can do to adjust the auto brightness on the Nexus 7. Under normal indoor conditions, it's just way too low. I can turn it off and keep it around 50%, which is better, but if I step outside into the sun, I then have to manually turn it up again.
Are there any tweaks we can do to turn the auto brightness up so I can keep it on but have a brighter screen?

They seem to do what you are after, setting your own preset levels for the auto brightness?
Just like with the Note 2, the maximum brightness of the display is higher on auto brightness then when you manually set the brightness on the highest level.
Sometimes it is difficult to read the display, even though the brightness is set to full. The auto brightness does not accurately work 100% of the time.
Is there a way to manually increase the display brightness? With the Note 2 there was a mod that allowed the manual brightness slider to go all the way to the maximum auto brightness.
Is there a simular mod on the Note 3? If not, how can we develop one?
When I wake up one day,I founded out that the phone screen is very bright,I tried to adjust the brightness but I can't decrease it.In the phone setting the brightness setting is in the minimum but actually brightness is still the Max. I checked the auto brightness setting,it was turned off,I can use other application to adjust the brightness,but once I exit the application,the brightness adjust to the maximum by itself. Please help!!!

It might be set by the power profile which is currently active, lots of changes will be revert to set value in the power profile.
Let me know if it helps.
Try to update the MIUI
You can try to download and update MIUI and check if the issue still persists.

did you tried installing brightness control app it might work

i checked my power profile, i didnt set anything at all. And about using apps,i tried several apps but still it cannot adjust my brightness at all. When i use the apps, i can control the brightness, but when i exit the app without closing it (that is by home button), the brightness will auto adjust to the max brightness.
Is there anyway to turn the extreme brightness while in the sun on when I want it on or only in the sun. I want to be able to have my screen as bright as I want when I want it to be
It can only achieve max brightness while in Auto mode.
So there is no way to just control it.
