Hello,
I´ve got some big problem wth my P8.
I rooted and flashed TWRP some days ago.
Yesterday and I wanted to install an update, OTA isn´t workng with root and TWRP, so I extracted the B170 update for my GRA-L09 with HuaweiExtractor and flashed the built zip, but now my P8 keeps on getting bootloops at huawei-startscreen.
Every try to restore an TWRP-backup ands up with the same sh*t and installing the update from dload on the SD with booting per volume up + down also ends with an error.
When I connect the phone in TWRP to an PC it also didn´t recognize the size of internal memory at all.. it only says internal memory.. for the SD it keeps saying me it has around 59GB..
and TWRP only says the internal memory is around 4GB, but it has to be around 11GB belive
I think something destroyed the internal partitions on my phone.
Is there a way to flash an update.app direct from pc or to restore faulty partitions?
Hope someone couldhelp me, the phne is only 3weeks old
try the three bottoms way update
but the dload file is formated sd card and shut down the phone and use the volume down and up and power at the same time and it will install the update.app but you must have stock recovery

Can you still enter TWRP? Have you tried doing a Factory Reset?
I try one more time with dload on formated sd and three buttons.. we will see
and yes, I can enter twrp and can flash all sort of img´s in fastboot and switch between twrp and stock recovery.. but installing an full rom isn´t working.. factory reset and so on were done countless times..
Edit: now it´s getting worse.. twrp is still working, BUT after last attempt with 3-button-method I can´t touch anything, only power-button is working, no unlock or so on
is there some possibility to flash the phone with SPFlashTool to recreate partitions?
is it possible to get this repaired at a huawei-center? i´ve only unlocked bootloader and flashed twrp, but did not install root.. should relock bootloader be enough?

Try to "factory reset" in TWRP and then install the stock recovery via fastboot again. I had the same problem like you before, but this fixed it. If it doesn't we could speak on Skype, if you want too.

Don't you have any insurance, return policy or so?
Also, did you started fastboot via "CMD" with elevated rights ( Admin ) ?

I have insurance.. but will they repair it, after all I have tried?!?
fastboot is working for example "fastboot devices" or so on.. only flashing ends up giving errors
So now my P8 was repaired because of damaged mainboard..
the situation now is, I have a full twrp-backup of my old device, but of course with the old IMEI.. now with a new mainboard it also has a new IMEI..
so can I restre my old backup, when keeping the EFS with the new IMEI or wont this work, because the backup was made with another IMEI?
can somebody tell me, if this is going to work?
hi
i same problem way ?
Try to flash this custom rom via recovery "do full wipe" , when your device work, then you can go back to stock rom via updater app. Or you can stay in this custom rom If you like it.
Here is the link for the custom rom :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/rom-huawei-p8-fromfuture-1-0-t3175436
Hi Guys
Is there posibility to flash stock rom via TWRP ?
thnx
for me the only way was to send it for a repair and get the mainboard exchanged.. flash via TWRP should work, if you have a rom in zip-format.. the huawei-roms itself aren´t compatible!

but twrp supports flashing .zip and .img too there is toggle button.. I have flashed B170 bootloader.img and stock recovery ,.. and phone is even more bricked..
There is no TWRP anymore and goes straight to Rescue Mode.. but I can still boot to fastboot but it says phone unlocked but in reality phone is not unlocked because when I tried to flash recovery via fastboot flash recovery recovery.img it threw at me ''not allowed ??? so why phone says unlocked then ??
how much did u have to pay for motherboard ?

Hello!
I am a new to this forums so bare with me please
i have bricked my phone badly.., i tried to install the ota update for P10 Plus (VKY-L29C432B123) with FlashFire and in the middle of the update the phone went black and my problems began getting worse.
i rebooted the phone and got into Error mode Func No: 11 (recovery image) and Error No: 2 (boot faild in recoveryboot mode!).
so i followed a guide and reinstalled twrp to attemp to restore the system somehow, so i kept following the guide and i went into twrp --> wipe --> format data and here my real problems began..
i did many attemps to install any firmware both stock and roms but i got into system mount problem and i can't do anything to transfer files to system i have tried adb but it can't find my device, tried adb sideloaded doesn't work eaither.
so i am stuck in no where..
the phone and frp are unlocked.
but i have missed to enable USB debugg mod
so now i wonder if there is any solution for me in this case?
greatly thankfull if anyone can help me with this big mess.

You can use that HWOTA method to recovery FullOTA rom no need to use FunkyHuawei.

hi, did you manage to solve this problem?
Hi There, i hope someone here can help me to sort that out.
Im trying to root my LG G6 H870 since yesterday.
But I'm unable to flash anything to the System partition, also SuperSu.
The Error message TWRP provides is "Failed to mount '/system' (Device or resource busy)
Can somewone help me what went wrong here?
I'm kinda desperate now.

You format data on twrp after install twrp?
You could try to restart to recovery via TWRP and be sure to unplug usb-c cable prior of doing that then try flashing something.
If that's not working you can try the Format data button in the Wipe/Advanced wipe section, afterwards wipe everything, connect the phone to the PC (while in TWRP) and transfer ROM, GApps... via adb push. Try flashing the ROM again, if it's not working again remove the cable and restart recovery - flash again.
I encountered this kind of problem and these techniques seemed to solve it.
it's work thanks!

Thanks so much, man. you guys in this forum rock!
hey to everyone who faced problem like that wont solve with this solutions like wipe data or boot recovery and some type of this things, sometimes the problem isnt that serious and only requires like force restart with volume down+power button and then turn your device power on again and maybe it should work like it did for me (sorry for bad english )
thanks
today i want to share my sad story with u guys , i got my phone huawe mla-al10 , i flash custom rom lineage os 13.1 from xda for huawei can-11 then it got bootloop , before this i succesfully install it without bootloop , so i decide to reset , then i go to the recovery , idk how my recovery become the stock one ,then i click format data , suddenly its stuck at 61% then keep reboot , i open fastboot then get frp locked , im start panic , then i do a research how to get rid frp locked , they said relock the bootloader , then i relock booatlader , haa its getting more worse , now icant even go to fastboot or update mood , its only goes to factory reset lowlevel.... then screen becomes black with blue led , i connect to pc , i found hs-usb diagnostic 9006 ( com 3 ) thats mean i can unbrick only with 1 way , with Snapdragoon flashtool , but i cant find nowhere for the firmware that make to unbrick using flashtool for my devices , hmmm im so sad right now , is there any way i can make my own flashtool file for snapdragon flashtool ? i hope i can fix this as soon as possible
If ADB is working, just flash your original (firmware) RECOVERY,BOOT and SYSTEM.img from the update.app zip file...after flashing those 3 img file, just reboot via adb...fastboot reboot

Again, sorry for that
Here's what i did to fix the issue :
1. After some more searching in the next morning (literally the next morning, few minutes before i gone to school), i stumbled to this thread post : https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2522426
it says that if you "Put the phone under a strong light and longpress power and volume down, your phone will reboot in bootloader.".
So i tried that. I hold my phone right in front of my monitor, then hold the power and volume up to get into fastboot mode. And Voila, it worked. I get into fastboot without any problem whatsoever.
Somebody else also replied "Just hold the power and volume down for a long time and hold it in front of a bright light, something about the proximity sensor."
So.. yeah. Didn't really know how it worked out, but it worked. :silly:
2. After that, i just installed a different version of TWRP (This one specifically https://dl.wafuu.id/twrp/X00T/twrp-3.2.3-0-X00T-20181214.img which i got from someone in the telegram group) and just redo the HavocOS installing process. It went smooth, and i manage to boot the system without any problem.
Problem solved. Just like that. However, i think i know what was causing the issue.
When i was trying to install the GApps (before stuck in bootloop), i only managed to get to the part when i had to choose to either save my choices or not. After that it just went back to TWRP. I didn't know that it wasn't actually installed yet, because i thought it was installed already. Yep, that was my first time installing GApps and i actually never seen the entire installing process. The way i know that is when i installed it after the fix (after i installed a different TWRP) and then saw the "installing things" part. Silly me.
So i think that was the issue. It was because i used an older version of TWRP which i got from this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/asus-zenfone-max-pro-m1/development/recovery-twrp-3-2-1-x-t3787134 . Maybe GApps didn't support that version. I knew it was an old version of TWRP. Why i was using that version and not the latest one? Because when i tried to install the latest one from this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/as...ent/recovery-unofficial-twrp-3-2-3-0-t3888110 , it didn't work on my phone. It fails to detect my internal memory (0mb).
I think that's all i can say. Again, i'm sorry to all you guys for the late respond. Thank you for replying my thread and trying to help me. I hope this thread will eventually help someone who faced a similar problem to mine.
*Last but not least, Shout out to Dyruz from the telegram group who provided me the working TWRP and tried to help me as best as he can. I would've not fix the issue this because of him. Cheers!
