He says the rumors on his office says 16th april.
So i will stick to that.

HOW do you know it? Speculations!
I am waiting for the oficiella version, (modified roms here now have too many bugs) even if it takes in the autumn
But I am impressed by chef´s which has done a great job for us to test version 2.1

there's more chance of a dual booting iPad running Android 6.4

if you don't have a source for that you could be so kind to mark it as sarcasm somehow, not all newbies get it necessarily.

No sarcasm, I have a friend who's working at a phone house who told me. That's, by the way why I don't trust the other source who's telling everybody 16th of April (and now, like magic, end of april!).
BTW: Is it that bad that newbies wouldn't get it? People are announcing wrong dates almost everyday and my indication gets flagged somehow?

This was the only official statement from HTC regarding something new for Hero, all the rest was whishfull thinking, rumours and foolish comments:

So, the dates for Legend and Desire were very precise, a date for the enhanced experience on Hero was intentionally left open ...

HTC will shortly come up with an updated version of the operating system on some of their mobile phones. The update must be loaded directly onto the phone, and is 100Mb. Ventelo therefore recommend that users of these mobile phones updates via wireless networks and mobile networks.

R2BA024 is out! Who's got it?

Seems like some people have had OTA requests and have updated to 024 and new baseline.
State what region and if branded/unbranded.
Wonder if Rogers branded units got this update as well...

What is SE waiting for.....release those suckers! They seem already certified.

I got it. Im on AT&T in the US. The phone is UK vodafone branded, it was the 14 before the update. I got it last night as I was waiting for sunrise.

Damn and there was me being excited about getting r2ba023 today. Looks like i'm already behind the times!

It is legitimate but it does take up to a month for release post certification.
You are correct in stating that most are regionally specific versions of the same update but the "R2C" series would be something different.

R2C = Android 2.1 Firmwares ?????

The 2.1 update is so huge so I'd expect a bigger bump like R3 or even R5 if the marketdroids have any say.

We are actually 13 days into Q3.... only 79 days until Q4.... I so wish SE would be more open with their f/w update plans.. I'm very pleased with what R2BA020 has done to my handset... but what else may be coming in the pipeline is just distracting !!!

Sure it is, I like to update to have a smoother experience but on the other hand I am not a flash adict to update every now and then. Its fun but time consuming.
Lets hope to have bigger updates. Where is the log published by SE?

i have a rogers x10a on unlocked on att. everytime i try the update i get a network error. and i've got 3 bars of 3g. i don't understand. usually it says either your phone is currently up to date or there is a new update. not network error...

I have the same setup.
No OTA, SEUS only for the update but we are still at R2BA020 released July 2nd.

New Firmware MHA-L29C432B194 OTA

Updated yesterday, smoother touch and better battery...

Official OTA?

yes official, but still waiting in Slovakia
FF says not approved yet, my IMEI approval is pending

My expirience: smoother good battery but apps sometimes crash and much much worse graphics in game and on screen general. Have downgraded back.

Maybe it´s not released to everybody.... let me explain:
- 14/09/2017 i sent a email to Huawei asking for a time-frame to fix BlueBorne Bluetooth vulnerability (no EMEI sent).
- 15/09/2017 I received OTA update MHA-L29C432B194 ( never thought it could be only for me !!!, not used to this type of support !!! )
- 17/09/2017 Posted message to see feedback from other users...
Still talking with Huawei as it did not fix the BlueBorne Bluetooth vulnerability, and my Bluetooth is always on to pair with a Smart band...
Sorry but i never thought that Huawei Support would release anything only for me !! It seems they really care... :highfive:

To establish a pattern of regions where the fw has and hasn't been released. Huawei is famous for delaying or outright excluding whole regions and IMEI ranges for unknown reasons. This allows those excluded to make an informed decision when resorting to alternative upgrade solutions. My device was excluded from B138 back in the day for example.

Hey amigo! I'm from Portugal, 194 a bombar over here... ALTHOUGH, my GF has the Mate 9 as well and hasn't managed to update it yet so...
Also, out of curiosity, made a few tests, she has USF 2.1 and I have 2.0 :/ half the speed, oh well :3

Huawei has a month to test ROM on various beta-testers, then start to roll out it via OTA.

Can you provide a link to the theme please? I can't seem to find it :-\

G8142 (dual SIM) also updated. The rapid screen brightness changing issue I hate so much has been improved but not perfected. At least I don't get a headache now.

I've bought an XZ premium today and got this update soon as I'd set it up. Do security updates come regularly for Sony phones? This is my first.

I wonder if you have the Centralised EU handset? Must be that.

I have no idea. Being my first sony device I don't have any idea about how to identify different versions.

Does any one know what that could be? EU handset?
Just surprised the update isn't coming through the centralized UK rom yet.

The Customized UK December update is out now OTA.

Well that depends on how you purchased the phone. If its through a carrier it will take longer to get security updates :good:

Oreo rolling out in australia?

Check the XDA homepage.. they said that G5 and G5s users are receiving oreo in australia and new zealand.. anyone can confirm this?

Motorola moderators say it is fake and clickbait, but i don't really believe in them since they say they don't know more than ud users do..
They guy that started this information said it is based on an email that was received from motorola australia.. not sure if it's real, we have to wait.

Needs to be more independent reports before we can trust it.

Yeah the equalizer is only in play music

Nope no Oreo. I'm from Australia. I think I actually prefer nougat. I have a Nokia 8 on oreo 8.1 and it's smooth and all but that's running a s835. This Moto g5 plus feels pretty smooth (apart from heavy live wallpapers and games) for a s625. And I like nougats overall look
