requesting gsam temperature graphs please? - OnePlus 5 Questions & Answers

Could someone post temperature graphs from gsam battery monitor. This is mine from my xiaomi mi 6 for comparison (since its a competitor)

Calibrated Battery... Stock 1747 mAh?

I calibrated my stock battery from 100%->0%->100% and Battery Monitor Widget Pro now shows 1747mAh with min 3420mV and max 4192mV.
Anyone else get similar stats?
But the most I can get is about 10 hrs of moderate usage...
funny, I calibrated yesterday and got the exact same mAh. Though my most recent one set it at 1685 4197 / 3430

Battery capacity less than it should

Hey all,
2 days ago, I got my Op5. Very happy with the phone, except for one thing : accubattery says that the capacity is just beneath 3100mah, instead of the 3300mah it should have. I let it run down and charged it to 100% and kept it on the charger for about one hour after that, still around 3100mah, according to accubattery.
How are your batteries? I'd like to know if this is a widespread issue.
How do you know that accubattery is correct?
Alan
Same here, but even lower. After 42 cycles is around 3000 mAh.

Well, since it is measuring the amount of current going in the actual battery, after some cycles you can assume with quite confidence the actual battery capacity. Besides, it will actually plot the measurement, so you can actually see if the data makes sense.
I'm curios also about the actual capacity, because this would be an indicator of why I have seen so much variation about the battery life on different handsets.
Man, I really don't care. Best battery life ever! (I came from OP3 and OP2 before that)

This app shows significantly lower capacity in almost all phones. To determine capacity you have to discharge battery completely (which is not 0% reported by system) and charge it with precise measurements (5 seconds sampling rate like Accubattery isn't enough). This app is like cancer. This is fourth thread in last two weeks about this **** app. Only things it does well is reporting false data gathered by pseudoscience method and drain battery by wakelocks. Do you need to mess up with battery stats? Get Google battery historian.

So, how some users like the one above achieve 8h SOT while others like myself neither 5. I'm even never play games almost, which is typical a drain source on phones.

There is no typical drain source. Everone has different apps installed, different usage, different settings... etc. I can achieve 8h SOT or 2h SOT too. Do you really think, that 10% of reported battery capacity loss would make 60% higher difference in SOT?

Thanks, I didn't know this app is that unreliable.

Snapdragon S10+ Accubattery estimates?

Any of you with Qualcomm/Snapdragon S10+, can you post your estimates from Accubattery app? I am getting estimated 9hours of screen on time estimate after a 100% charge. Battery drain while screen off is 1.8% which is pretty high imo specially with no apps installed, phone is default out of the box connected to WiFi so cell data use is minimal.

Battery discharge rate when screen is off?

Could anyone with a Redmi K20/Mi9T report your battery discharge rate while screen is off? I am coming from a Redmi Note 3 and it seems noticeably worse from the time I bought it 6 months ago. Mine is anywhere between 1.8 to 2.5 % per hour. If I go to sleep with 70% it'd be below 60 by the time I wake up. The battery stats from settings showed that my device was not awake during that time. I tried uninstalling every non system app. My device is not set to sync even GMail. The device isn't rooted and if yours showed better results I would root and report more details on what might be the cause.

I agree with you.
I've done a lot of measurement on the drain issue in standby.
I am on EU weekly rom 'without root' and I follow with simple battery graph application for a better drain slope visibility. (Official gauge is far to be accurate!)
First finding, AOD is a big consumer ( some 1%/h) during day. That raise day stand by value to 1.5- 2%/h.
During night when phone temperature is stabilized (see graph) and AOD is ON we reach 1%/h.
Without AOD number fall to 0.3- 0.5%/h.
Question:
These numbers are high, but are they too high if we want AOD feature?
Sure they have a psychological impact because in 24h use we loose some 24% of a battery that can last 2 days, for "nothing".
I din't noticed any wakelock in one month test and drain in heavy use is normal. (EG: -13%/h in nave display ON.)
I hope Xiaomi Android 10 will improve with time.
Discussion is open.

Abnormal Battery Drain on MIUI.eu 12, can't find the cause

I have installed MIUI.eu 12 on my Redmi Note 7. Using GSam Battery Monitor, I get 3.2%/h of battery consumption, SOT = 2h41. Most app that consummes energy is system. In the details, Significant Motion Detector consumes a lot of time.
Any way to correct this behavior??
Thanks!
I am also facing this issue after updating to miui 12
Same problem here! Often battery consumption reach more than -750mAh (even -1200mAh!) even when I'm just scrolling homescreen!
What about yours consumption when screen is off? Mine are pretty good, like around -0,5% per hour.
