Hello Everyone, I am trying to Root my S7 Edge and I installed the Samsung USB Drivers on my computer it didn't work the first time so I deleted the driver and reinstalled it. The USB Drive sees the S7 as (Samsung SM-935V) but when I click to browse and open the files on the S7 it says and shows "THIS FOLDER IS EMPTY". How can I get my S7 and Computer to show and open the files on the device so that I can root my S7 Edge? Thank You in advance.

I've connected my device to my laptop via USB cable that was supplied. so I've been using my device a while and copied music on and off it etc.
The past few days when I try to copy music or pictures to and from my device i get a error messages. I get the message a device attached to system is not functioning.
when i open the device folder under explorer i can only see folders and when i open the folders it says 0 items in the folder. but if I go in on my device there are files in the selected folder.
now I've searched the web from left to right and only get solutions for the note II mobile device that has a USB mass storage function, which the galaxy note 8.0 does not have.
I've downloaded Kies and USB drivers and it still did not resolve my issue.
i have a HP Probook 4540s running windows 8. I'm not very good with these kind of stuff at all.
any help would be greatly appreciated
For me that happens when there a problem with driver or kies .. I'd recommend reinstalling

I would like to know that how to solve?, it is my samsung galaxy tab 4 7.0(3G) with Odin's problem.Other data transfer is ok. But my device's connected and disconnect case are flip-flop in the same time. USB driver is already installed . Device to computer, computer to device data copy
and paste connection is very good.Rooting and Flashing are no good for above.(Excuse me, I am poor in english lenguage)

I had my Galaxy Note 3 stolen by some dirtbag and looking around for a replacement I decided on the K3. I'm loving it and thanks to Hackerpower's thread have rooted, and flashed it to get rid of all the bloatware etc.
What I am finding though is that when I connect it to my PC it is only showing as a CD with the beijing version of the lenovo manager software showing. I want to be able to transfer files from my PC and vis-versa but no matter what I select I cant access the phone as a storage device like I could with my Galaxy Note 3.
If I select Media Device on the phone I see it as a CD with the above software showing.
If I select USB Storage I get the same.
If I select Camera I get the Phone Storage directory with 2 subfolders DCIM and Camera
I have downloaded the USB drivers from Hackerpower's thread and also tried various other download sites, all act the same. And yes I have selected debug mode but have also tried it with this disabled and same result.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as this is the ONLY thing marring this great phone for me.
BTW I'm using Limonchello as the ROM.

Install "Windows Media player 11" on pc, and you will resolve.

You have to go to developer options and under the networking tag change usb configuration to mtp.

So I tried Installing Samsung DeX from Samsungs official website. After installing Samsung DeX and opening it up for the first time I get an error "Android File Transfer can't be used while Samsung DeX is installed on your Mac. To use Android File Transfer, uninstall Samsung DeX." I had already removed and uninstalled Android File Transfer before installing Samsung DeX. I even tried contacting Samsung Customer Care but they are of no help. Can Anyone Please provide a solution?
