Hi,
Since the last update, I can't get Google now to work when charging (screen off, aod on). It worked 2 days ago, now it's gone.
Edge notifications is disabled for the Google app
I also tried to reinstall the app with no success
Bixby disabled
Anyone is having trouble with this feature as well?

Good to know that's isn't an isolated case.
I guess that comes from the new 'device maintenance' update

Same here, and working fine when screen is on.
Not yet, I'll do it tomorrow after getting more feedback
I noticed this with Google app beta 7.4 and was hoping that it was just a bug but the final version has this issue too So I guess Google intentionally removed this feature for third party devices. Maybe the want it to be exclusive to Pixel or Nexus devices from now on ! I have a oneplus 3T by the way so I don't think it has anything to do with Samsung updates

Bugs have been found on the GALAXY NOTE 3 LTE SM-N9005 with firmware of N9005XXUBMI7, anyone have the following 3 issues?
1. Writing in message with S-Pen will not convert the text to words. (Stop working after 30 Sept)
2. Scrapbooker unable to capture the YouTube video link instead it capture an image. (Stop working after Youtube Update)
3. Reading Mode doesn't dim the screen to a warmer (slight orange) tone just like the GALAXY Note 8 after adding the application into the enabled list.
Reading mode: Select which applications will use reading mode. In reading mode, the device will dim the display which helps protect your eyes when reading at night.
Example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xA0D25W_5Wc (source from Youtube)
Update: Samsung said that a new software update will be released soon to rectify issue 1 and 2, no news on issue 3.
I thought you found insects in the screen or something.
How you know is confirm there is a new update?? is here any link or something?

I'd also like to know where Samsung has publicized a bug-fix update, if you could post a link.
Also, would an update of this kind still have to be validated by carriers in the US (possibly months of waiting), or would it be direct to the users?
Fixed!

If found two bugs on two devices. I replaced one to find the new one had the same issues!!!
1. Screen brightness changes regardless if the user has ALL the settings turned off. I think it has something to do with the heat of the screen?
2. When recording video in low light conditions and connected to WIFI occasional purple lines will appear horizontally on the screen every now and then
I have now taken my second Note 3 back and refunded all together. I will think about buying another when these are fixed. TBH i can live with the camera issue but the screen brightness problem i cannot ignore!
I have a bug with my Note 3 with the "WatchON" app.
It keeps crashing on load, just black screen then it says "Unfortunately Samsung WatchON has stopped working"
It worked the first time I loaded it when I first got my phone bot not anymore.
Anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?

ive had 3 .. note 3's. att. None of them had that issue.may want to disable app and clear cache\data under app management
Each phone has used it on 2 tv's and cable box's and a samsung dongle.
I tried and it didn't work.
Maybe I should take it back to the Samsung store and ask them for a fresh new phone instead of this defective crap since I have warranty.

This App is complete crap, it doesn't let you exit without forcing it to shut down.

I'm on my 2nd note 3 and the first one didn't have this issue. The replacement I got has been having this issue since day 1. The only solution I've found is to turn Watch On off in the application manager. I'm hoping this is just a software bug and not a problem with the phone itself. It's strange how I didn't have this problem with the first note 3 so I'm kinda scratching my head on this one.

Turning it off fixed it for me also. You would think all of this bloatware would be well tested before the phones release. I am wondering if the app updated and the new update caused the problem. I am planning on downloading a new IR Remote App anyway. On Verizon

Mine has started doing this too. After a reboot and at random times. Lookout doesn't report any malware and all my apps are from play store. It's annoying more than anything else. It's a useless prompt as it does that say which process was closed.

Maybe, I was thinking of something along those lines, but maybe triggered by something the phone does. It happens when I am away from my home router sometimes, possibly driving through the range of another WiFi router, even if I haven't tried to connect.
I'll try to watch for that to happen when I go out today.

i recently root my tmo s7 edge, and had to fix a lot of things before it can be used fine, ´cos it was lag a lot, i use trickster mod to set the cpu governor to interactive, app disabler to disable the bloatware , amplify for optimize the battery life, buid.prop to fix the wifi issue, and the phone is almost fine, and i say almost because it is still lag from time to time and the battery drains a little bit faster than stock, but the real problem is the camera, it lag a lot when i tried to take photos and even more withe the front facing camera, do you guys have the same issue or it´s just me???

I've never rooted my s7 edge. I've been tempted but don't want bad battery life as it is more vital to me then root, the camera issues have been around for some time. International has had a fix for it but tmobile has yet to push this fix. Unless everyone elses camera is fine (selfie) then I guess I should do a factory reset.

Yes.......I'm going to try forcing the camera app to stay in memory so the needed ram is already allotted to it even when clearing other apps from memory.

I recently bought a dm368. And for the few hours it worked I loved it. However shortly after running with the watch and downloading the firmware update the touchscreen became non-responsive. I could only power the watch off using the button on the side. So I sent it back and I'm waiting for another watch to come in. Was it the firmware update that made the screen non-responsive? Was it due to jogging? Or was it just the luck of the draw and getting a bad watch? If this were to happen again is it something I can fix by reflashing firmware or something?
My guess is that you have flashed the wrong firmware for the watch. There is a hehui version and a regular version. If you got it from our site there are instructions about this

Thanks for the reply. I went to the firmware section but I didnt see the firmware for the mtk6580. Is it under a different watch or procrssor?
Go to the kw88, LF16 etc section for factory firmware. This is where you will find it

The same think also happened to my DM368 while jogging, i was using the IQI I3 FW and was on running page of health app. I am afraid that because i bought from a reseller i will not get a warranty replacement.
I opened the back and reset all the connections, flashedthe FW to DM368, reset settings but nothing happened.
This is an inherent problem with this watch, i have seen around 10 posts online where people have this problem of unresponsive touchscreen. This is a bad quality watch, i recommend not to buy it and go for official Android Wear supported watches.
@pablo1 do you know anything how can i replace the screen of my watch? only touchscreen isnt responding. and what is the website/ support address of Marvel Domino smartwatch?

It can also be because the wrong firmware has been installed..
There are two types because there are two screens.
One is HEHUI and the other is not.
Flashing the wrong version can cause the problem.

Thanks for your reply but i have been following your other perfboard forum a lot so i know fw issues about HEHUI and AUO i guess and also i heard that the watch doesnt boot with other FW, but this touchscreen issue happened while i was on tread mill and to rectify it i reflashed to DM368 official FW but i was stuck on language screen so i suspect the touchscreen digitizer isnt working. Initially touchscreen became jumpy with my touches but after a forced restart no touchscreen
Furthermore, is there any way to control the watch without touchscreen. I think OTG will not work because there is no fifth connector for usb on back of watch.

Actually you probably won't be able to.
There is a chance that removing the rear cover and disconnecting then reconnecting the screen from the main board may help.
But it is only a last resort.
I am guessing that you can't return it?
