For the last few days I have been getting this annyoing nag screen regarding battery and I can't figure out how to stop it. I need to get rid of it, please help!
Have a look at the settings in the battery section or power saving.
You should be able to disable it depending on your rom

That was the first thing I checked and it isn't there. There is a separate battery nag screen I also get, this is new.
What Rom you are on? And what you are expecting to do with this notification?

I would untick the WiFi option set up the brightness and click OK, do all

I am on stock rom. I would like to freeze to process somehow (package diabler?). I already did it all once but the thing is I don't want to do all. I want the notification to be gone. What is interesting this thing doesn't show up on screenshot if I take it.
What is your android version?
Are you rotted?

It is 6.0.1 and I am rooted (the simple Chainfire method, I am not skilled enough to do anything else, only did it for the Adaway app ).
Try this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=notificon.gsy.com.notificon

What do I do with it? I still don't know where this nag screen is coming from.
It's a power saving notification which is a part of the system, now I can't remember where, but try to find a notification settings on your phone. Perhaps you will be able to disable it there

I diabled pop up window in battery settings. The only thing I could find that looked like it could be it. It wasn't.
I think it was Peel Smart Remote doing this.

Okay so I have this metro card from Taiwan and whenever I place it against the back of my phone or if I rub it against my phone while my phone is on and unlocked my phone gives a little chime does anyone know what it exactly is and how to disable it?
Just to clarify the metro card is like a little sensor that you place on a small pad not a typical credit card no stripes the whole thing is basically a sensor
I was going to upload a picture but it doesn't seem to be working at the moment

Most likely the NFC chime.

Oh, and to disable NFC go to settings - wireless and networks - more - uncheck NFC.

Hi All,
I have noticed that the vibrating function is too weak and also on a Custom Rom.
Does anyone have a fix to this?
Most custom kernels can increase the vibrate strength, not sure if you can do it on stock kernel.

currently running Jellybear ROM
I agree, I miss 90% of my notifications while on vibrate so I've started just leaving the volume really low so I can barely hear notifications. This is about my only complaint with the phone and easily something I can live with.
Download Trickster Mod and see if there is an option on there to increase it. Easy way to see if your kernel supports it.

Thanks will try changing it there and see if it works
The N4 and the GN both use linear oscillator vibration motors, which are less violent and noisy than the rotating out of balance weight design that that older phones (and the iPhone 2G/3/3G/3GS/5) use.
Did this work? Rooted or unrooted?

It is actually not using it has much you think it is.
When you place multimedia files onto the storage and will scan for a few minutes.
It will be listed to show what was using up your battery.
If you recharge your Nexus 4 fully without storing any multimedia files and/or rebooting then it should not be on the list after unplugging.

Mine has started doing this too. After a reboot and at random times. Lookout doesn't report any malware and all my apps are from play store. It's annoying more than anything else. It's a useless prompt as it does that say which process was closed.

Has anyone deleted Knox to see what happens other than a warranty void? I'm having the same issues when unload any titanium backup apps. It could be just one app I load up and I get this message. But if I get the app from the note 3 itself it doesn't prompt.

Maybe, I was thinking of something along those lines, but maybe triggered by something the phone does. It happens when I am away from my home router sometimes, possibly driving through the range of another WiFi router, even if I haven't tried to connect.
I'll try to watch for that to happen when I go out today.

Hi,
Since the last update, I can't get Google now to work when charging (screen off, aod on). It worked 2 days ago, now it's gone.
Edge notifications is disabled for the Google app
I also tried to reinstall the app with no success
Bixby disabled
Anyone is having trouble with this feature as well?

Good to know that's isn't an isolated case.
I guess that comes from the new 'device maintenance' update

Same here, and working fine when screen is on.
Not yet, I'll do it tomorrow after getting more feedback
I noticed this with Google app beta 7.4 and was hoping that it was just a bug but the final version has this issue too So I guess Google intentionally removed this feature for third party devices. Maybe the want it to be exclusive to Pixel or Nexus devices from now on ! I have a oneplus 3T by the way so I don't think it has anything to do with Samsung updates
