You would need to relock the bootloader to get that to go back to official. I don't believe there is a way to do so currently.
Having an unlocked bootloader won't cause audio issues, just an FYI

So as I understood,I need to flash it again and relock bootloader again?
That would get you back to full stock. However, like I said before, I don't think there is a signed bootloader image anywhere, so I don't think you can fully lock that back up yet.

Thank you I will try this
I was able to relock bootloader using this guide:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=72789290&postcount=16
Not sure if it will work for all model variants but it did for mine...

Hi,
My M is running system 9.8.1Q-78
I know the bootloader can't be unlocked with this OTA.
My question is, I gained root like a half an hour ago, if I were to flash back to 4.0.4 7.7.1Q-144 OTA with RSDLite (I have the full fastboot zip) would this also revert the bootloader to a version which can be unlocked?
Thanks.

No.

^ and that resolves that question.
if you want a further explanation, there is no way to downgrade the bootloader. RSDLite only restores the system. once the bootloader is upgraded, your SOL

technically it's the trustzone kernel that's getting upgraded. but yeah. once you're on .78, you're stuck
I'm planning to flash the Qualcomm specific patches to my device, which requires unlocked bootloader.
So without going through all the trouble, I want to make sure if my device's bootloader is already unlocked or not.
Is there any easy way to check my bootloader status?
I'm running stock unrooted KitKat 4.4.2

Turn off your phone and turn it on again. At the Google boot logo, if you see an unlocked lock icon at the bottom of the screen, then your bootloader is UNLOCKED.
Something like this:

The above post is definitely the easiest way, but this app takes it a step further and tells whether it's ever been unlocked or not, as well as its current state

I am sending in my Nexus 7 (cracked screen) for repair. I just flashed it back to stock and locked the bootloader before I send it in. When I flashed stock 4.4.4, I noticed that it flashed the radio with the same version (not sure why), and it also attempted to flash the bootloader with the same version (not sure why) and it failed (not sure why).

Why did it attempt to flash it, and why did it fail?

Looks like you are using a toolkit? If so that is probably why

Why would a toolkit cause this? It enters the same commands, just automated. Right?
I used the latest version of the WugFresh toolkit, which is very popular, and no one else has problems.
Well every time I see a similar issue it is from a toolkit, which happens a lot across just about every android device I have seen. Granted it works a lot too but for your situation manually doing everything works closer to 100% of the time and is actually faster
But of course choice is yours how you want to do things
Samsung galaxy tab 4 (8.0) SM-T337A 5.1.1 LOLLIPOP after flashing http://forum.xda-developers.com/tab-4/help/software-authorized-att-tablet-samsung-t3286582 my tablet is stuck on boot up PLEASE HELP! btw I tried factory resetting and clearing cache.

Did anything get figured out with this? I'm bricked too and can't do anything about it because the 5.1.1 firmware isn't out and I can't figure anything else out to fix it.
I was able to acquire the following files...
{

"lightbox_next": "Next",

Flashing these finally brought this hopeless nightmare to an end.
I had the Kingsroot + SuperSUME = FAIL brick condition and this saved the device (it wasn't even my device, I was fixing it for a friend). Let me know if anyone is interested.
I know some of the other models of the phone have software where you can restore to complete stock as listed here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/v20/how-to/restore-v20-to-100-stock-bricked-devices-t3524903
So I was wondering if there is anything like this for the Sprint version. I was thinking of trying to restore it with the US996 firmware and hopefully that would work. Considering its the unlocked version. Thanks in advance.
no.. our KDZ never went public and isn't available.
once rooted and unlocked, its forever
i kinda want you to try hitting it with a us996 kdz, but your probably gonna either brick it/wont work.
I mean its worth a shot, just know its probably not a good idea lol
