SuperVideoCamera-Enable-4K-Overlay-275-release.apk - Sony Xperia X Compact Questions & Answers

Can someone send me a copy of "SuperVideoCamera-Enable-4K-Overlay-275-release.apk" in /system/vendor/overlay/ to disable 4k recording? I deleted the apk by accident. The 4k option causes some odd colors to show for me.
Edit: I got it myself using flashtool and ext2explore.

[Q] Extracting frames from a video

Hello everyone,
I've been looking for a way to extract frames from a video for my Android App... The only things I found were related to the Java Media Framework, which I did not succeed to use since Eclipse doesn't seem to recognize the packages even though I've installed JMF on my computer.
What I need is to be able to get a video that is located on the SSD card of the phone (The video is recorded from the phone) and be able to separate all the frames of it, so I can make some processing out of it... Is there any other way than the JMF library? Or maybe can someone help me get JMF to work?
Thanks a lot in advance for any help at all!
You wont be able to do this from the phone. Transfer the video to the computer, then use a video editing program to save frames. You will probably have to save each frame individually, unless you can find software to do it automatically.
I really hope you do figure out how to do this, especially if you're doing it to make any sort of video editing app. And if you're making a video editor please put a rotate video option. I always film in portrait mode then realize unlike the camera there's no rotate.

[FiX] This will fix the Video Camera sound issues on CM7

Here is a little convenience .zip that will fix the sound not working on your video camera if you're using CM7. This will work on any version and any future version until its really fixed.
CM7 Thunderbolt ONLY!
download: fix.tbolt.cm7.camcorder.zip
o download
o load clockwork recovery
o flash .zip
o enjoy sound
* hit thanks button if you appreciate it.
My issue is no autofocus on video.
All this does is rename a file to add the underscore. What is this actually supposed to fix? For the heck of it I renamed the file on my own and recorded two videos before and after. I didn't notice any difference either in the recording experience or the recorded video result.

its a convenience script.. That file can not remain there with its current name.
Rename the file back to VideoRecord.ogg and keep recording video. Make sure you hear sound all the way through the video. i bet you it breaks...
its a known bug
Gotcha. I only recorded about 5 seconds worth of video which is why I didn't see the bug I suppose.
Can anyone confirm that this works? And will it work with recording all sound? Because I've noticed this issue in voice recording too...

its only for the camcorder so that you have sound in your videos.
You could also just delete the VideoRecord.ogg file and do the same thing. All it is, is the beep you get when you start recording.

if you mean to record video in slow motion, then you can just use the regular camera app that was included. go to mode, select slow motion.
if you meant to "view" the slow motion video that was taken, you can just view it in the gallery
Take a slow motion video via the standard camera app, view the video in gallery and select the start and finish points of the slow mo.
Once that is done, top right click export, the video will then be saved to video editor in the gallery app and the vid is good to go.
I find that if you dont export the video it wont play back correctly on other devices and or youtube etc
via camera i can only record skow motion, but play then via camera/Galerie app dont work, when i click the Video then iz shows "no app to perform the action"
(think m debloater Script delete some Thing -. -)

Can't edit 4k videos in Oneplus Gallery app.

I recently recorded some videos in 4K 60fps. Whenever I try to trim them, the editor closes directly with a message "Cannot edit this video". It's working fine for the videos shot in 1080p though. Is anyone else facing the same problem?
Just tried it and same problem too
Same problem here too. Recently recorded a 5 min [email protected] and the stock gallery app doesn't let me edit/trim the video. Haven't tried other options yet.
Are you able to do it with third party apps?
