Hopefully they go for metal body instead of ceramic (less slippery, less likely to crack when dropped), fix the big delay when trying to turn the screen on, fix the thermal issues the mi mix has, and give it global LTE bands. And let us but it here in the US without going through sketchy importers. Everything else about the mi mix is already perfect!
this a concept not final render.... and it's Starck who will design again this phone...
Be sure all concept phone are always AWESOME, reality and needed form factor are still different... like a car designed on a paper and final product...

Personally I really like the ceramic body. Although I understand reticence regarding its being more fragile. What you say about screen on lagging I haven't noticed (am on Epic rom basically) and thermal issues? On Epic or official stable and beta I haven't experienced any overheating either... Maybe only randomly or when flashing big stuff on twrp...
Aesthetically if Mix 2 is close to that rendering, I find it really good. If I could ask for something, slightly better camera or at least better app.
In the meantime this first Mix is actually pretty awesome on itself.

So I was using RR and noticed a big delay from when you press power and when the screen actually turns on. I've since switched to Epic rom and problem is solved. I really prefer everything about RR over MIUI except the screen turning on more quickly on MIUI, but I'll stick with that until the issue is resolved.
As far as performance goes, after underclocking, removing the thermal files, and using the ghostpepper interactive cpu governor (see this thread for more: https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-mix/help/micro-shuttering-t3623537), performance issues are completely solved on both MIUI and RR.
I am still pretty shy touching kernel stuff as I do not have any technical knowledge. In any case, performance on Epic is pretty good, at least in my personal experience, with no overheating and with stock cpu and gpu settings
I personally think ceramic body is less slippy than a metallic one. I literally dropped my Letv 1 pro and broke the screen because how slippery it was.

Agreed with that. No delay when wake up(on miui) here. And overheats a bit when i use GPS/Navigation for a long time and set Full brightness at the same time. Besides that; overheats while charging(shuts down cores) and using at the same time. Rest; quite good about heatness.
PS. I once tried Resurrection remix rom; there was wake up delay a bit which was acceptable for me. I guess it's because of the compiled drivers for ambient display. I remember this delay on my previous device s6e+. When the devs added ambient display; the delay just occured. No technical idea though.

Do you notice any black crush on dark scenes when you play videos on your note? how about screen tint on low and high brightness. does the note suffer from tint issues like the s3
Black clipping you mean?

Not sure what the difference is between black clipping and black crush, all i knw is that on my s3 when i view most videos with the exception of extremely high quality blu-ray rips, dark scenes appear to loose detail, as if the black become blocky almost like they are not rendering correctly. however bright scenes in daylight or well lit rooms tend to display fine. i was just wondering if the note 2 has solved these problems.
its a very common issues on super amoled hd
I couldn't find it on mine (GT-N7100, ordered from Expansys Austria, shipped from Marseille). I could'nt also find any hint in the englisch manual I downloaded from the Samsung Hongkong Site. I read in a short review that a long press on the back key should bring up the multiview side tab. It definitely doesn't on mine.
Beside the little less text on webpages (which doesn't disturb my surfing experience) I couldn't find a thing that is not better than on the N1.

The plus points for me:
- The screen - brighter, crisper, by far better test result with the black clipping image presented on XDA, good outside visibility. Better automatic brightness handling as far as I'm concerned.
- The pen - oval, so that you can't miss the button side, thicker, longer, riffled button, smooth on the screen
- The battery - I used mine a lot during the day (as it is when you test a new gadget ) and I'm on 28% battery. Very impressed.
- The notification led in different colors.
- The speaker (clearer, more bass)
- Air View works much better than on the promo videos. Practicable and fun.
- Camera with a faster shutter and a lot of bells and whistles.
- Speed of the device - it's just fun to use it.
- Slightly better positioning of volume keys and power key - didn't press the power key by accident so far.
- of course a lot of software improvements but that may come to the N1 too.
Hmm pity about the missing multi-window feature. It looks really cool in that Korean promo video. I would guess it will come in a future update though. There is no reason to make it a Korean exclusive.
Otherwise great to see that you are enjoying the phone. Personally I was impressed with it right from the start but I remember there was a feeling of disappointment among some posters at the announcement. I think a lot of it was because of the slightly lower resolution on the screen. Also it wasn't quite clear at the time that the Note 2 uses RGB instead of Pentile. Anyway clearly the Note 2's screen is great which, combined with all the other upgrades, makes it a worthy successor to a great phone.
Someone needs to get a dump of the korean ROM and make if flashable on the N7000 Note ASAP!!!!!
That is such a killer feature to not have!

Believe me, the Note 2 has so much AI built-in (smart stay, smart rotate, mouse hover, multi windows....i can go on all day) that it makes me realize the name "smartphone" is suddenly an apt one for the device. The quad core + 2GB RAM + full rgb amoled screen yield an experience much like using a laptop so please dont listen to the ones who do not have the device yet and start comparing it to iphone5 out of boredom...doing that is like comparing the note 2 to a 1985 Motorola first generation phone.
Also for the first time I have absolutely no desire to put any custom roms on the phone....the firmware on the note 2 as it is now is an absolute triumph....I cant imagine why anyone would load crap made from the bedroom of some hairless nerd when you have a platform produced by hundreds of professional engineers that went through proper QA

Because historically, that 'crap' has been better than what the engineers put out?
If custom roms weren't better, each in their own ways, then nobody would use them.

I find this multiview issue to be weird. Cuz on the Swedish Note 2 manual that is the same as any N7100 it clearly states that multiview is available and how to activate it.
I saw a Swedish video of it with 4G obviously N7105 and sue enough. Multiview was shown.

Without sources mediatek devices are pathetic, Xiaomi Redmi Note is still stuck with buggy KitKat, and will stuck forever, same will happen with you.
So ensure sources, without sources even xda will not help.

This is not for Redmi Note 3, every device has diff hw although CPU is same , s you need your drivers from Xiaomi.
Ask Xiaomi for source, and they will not provide.
Don't fall in Xiaomi's trap.

So whats the trap.
Get a good device for 200 bugs? Okay it would be better with all thedriver sources released but it is Kind of a flGship killer.
AMD what you expect for that price. A device that beats the crap out of an IPhone 6s?
I need a new Smartphone ( my nexus 5 fell into the water, it still works but slowly dies) and you dont get a better bang for the buck right now. And I think we will get the driver source soon.

Hi, (gold, 32gb, redmi note3 5.0.2,MIUI7
MUI 77.0.11.0 215 EURO with shiping)
I will try to give you my feedback, it's my own personal view of the redmi note 3, first some background:
I'm a tech guy, i started using android with one of the first HTC Desire Bravo, i used to root my phones, flash roms, try, optimise as much as possible.
I have brought this phone for my wife, who had previously two Samsung S4, since redmi note3 is dual SIM, it work out quite nice.
I own a Samsung Note 4 , and i will compare the redmi note3 32gb fairly.
the phone costed me 215EUR, it's a flagship, and for that price it's very cheap!
the phone look beautiful, it has an aluminium body, the finition is perfect, the gold (champagne) color is very nice. the aluminium body is very sleepery.
it lack a SD card, which will force you to take the 32gb model (hello 2016)
battery is non removable, but it's more than 4000mAH, it hold with 2 sim cards and full backlight a full day
LCD would be rated 4.5/5 , not the best quality, but almost.
NO Screen protection, honestly if your phone is falling from time to time, do not buy this phone, the LCD will die, buy a housing to get some grip.
the phone is fast for normal apps, messengers, Instagram, phone apps (dialler, phone-book, calendar)
The camera is 13MB pixel in 4/3 format, it's a 10MB pixel in 16/9 format, the camera is not really good, btw i don't understand why xiaomi doesn't set the camera immediately for best quality, you had to go and set both camera by yourself.
same for front camera, not really good, it's a 5MB at 4/3 format, and 3MB on 16/9.
MUI work good, it's fast, some notifications from time to time never appear, i didn't figure out why yet.
Honestly for me that a great phone, because i don't care about the camera and i use my phone for work, but since it's for my wife, she like to do pictures, selfies, and that phone is no good at that point, her old Samsung S4 is doing much better pictures, and that is kinda the deal breaker.
I would recommend this phone to people who don't care about the cameras, it's cheap, look crazy nice, DUAL SIMS.
IF you like to take pictures of any kind, don't waste your time, it is no good.
IF your phone is likely to fall, avoid it, no screen protection, or at least buy some housing.
I like MUI btw, my gf doesn't like it to much, but she doing better every day.
The charger is trash, it's a 0.35mAH, it charge 5% per hour LOL, never seen worse, get your old charger back, or buy a new one immediately.
I forgot to say in my review that the phone is not rooted, but there is a app .apk that root the device in 2min easy and friendly(it''s in chiness, but keep hitting the green button),
Best regards guys!
(hit the thanks button if you like it)

Thanks for sharing your first impressions! I dont know which rom you are using but I know that other people reporting camera improvements with the latest rom.

mui 77.0.11.0
Hi,
i have got my note 3 before christmass. With the same ROM 77.0.11.0 as Lisendra. Got it in a GDA for 199€ with DHL shipping, cover and tempered glass screen protection.
The "original" rom had some bugs, I was unable to sincronize the contacts from gmail etc.
A guy on italian forum helped me with a hint about a custom ROM, the first one was a developer, the second one latest stable 7.0.22.0
It doesnt support OTA, so you have to use flashtool, but the flashing is pretty easy, it comes with ROOT and it is cleaned from the scrap chinese apps.
[ROM] [Stable] SphinX V1d - MIUI7 V7.0.22.0 Global, Multi Language, SuperSU
Since I installed that one, the phone does greatly. There are already guides to unlock bootloader, but to instal this ROM you dont need to do so.
For that money it is really a great phone. My old Galaxy S3 seems to be a toy, compared to this. Signal reception is very good (althought LTE band 20 is missing, so i dont have LTE where I live, but in the towns downhill it works pretty good in LTE). GPS (gps, glonass and the chinese satelites) locks really fast.
With 1 SIM the phone is able to work for 2 full days (until the evening of the second day - with the screen ON for about 5 hours).
After 2 weeks of experience, I would buy it again.
My Impression of Samsung Galaxy S8+ after a day use.

Design - Design is very subjective but I believe this time not much will ever said this phone is ugly. S8/S8+ is the most beauty touch screen phone ever release. 2nd place I give to LG G6. I just can't stop staring at it. Simple beauty, elegance & gorgeous.
Screen - No doubt it is the best screen I ever use in mobile. You just need to see yourself as word can't describe it. They is some users report have red tint issue, so it is advice proper check during purchase. How many unit got red tint issue I had no idea, as included 9 demo set I molest, I didn't seen any red tint issue in all 10 units from my eye.
Camera - The front and rear camera is very great and nothing much to complain about. Simply awesome. The rear camera for me is far better than iPhone 7 Plus.
System UI - The best ever release by Samsung, I must said I am more impress with this UI than vanilla stock, it is so clean and simple but still attractive.
UI Smoothness - Frank speak all the demo set I touch is not very smooth, even the unit I own also, lucky Samsung had release a new Home Launcher version update in Galaxy Apps Store. All Samsung own apps now is update at Galaxy Apps Store, it is wise don't disable this. After the update, now the UI smoothness is far better, it is not extremely smooth but at least it is in acceptable level now. I wonder why no review mentioned about this, the phone is very fast but the UI smoothness is not top notch.
Loud Speaker - It is ok for single speaker. I am a bit miss my loud speaker in iPhone 7 Plus now.
Sound Output - I find my Bose SoundSport sound nicer than pairing with iPhone 7 Plus. It sound much smoother.
Fingerprint - Whoever does this design and approval is brain broken! The placement at top right back beside the camera is very wrong.
Iris Scanner - I am actually disappointing with it, it is not working well and slow for user that wear glasses.
Battery Life - It is very awesome to me and the wireless fast charging also very fast jut it not stopping even full charge. Now I remember back actually wireless charging never ever knew to stop, it is like that since the first time appear in S6 Edge.
Bixby button - This extra button is really useless, the Bixby is not something everyone fancy about it. Very hope soon can have a proper way to change the button to something else without root. This Bixby is the most lagging apps in S8+, it is not smooth and take few second to fully load.
Game Launcher - I know this is nothing new as it is long there, Samsung doing this is very welcome, all games now in a proper place instead of everywhere in the app drawer.
What I miss from iPhone 7 Plus - the double tap at status bar to scroll to top. The extremely smooth UI where also only happen in iOS 10.3.1. The much better loud speaker.
What I hate in iOS but no longer issue after back to Android - Thanks god I no need to make the screen not sleep or app run in-front when downloading thing from the app. 2nd is they is no more apps that look ugly due to stretching due to the app not FHD support.

Appreciate much for this, trying out now.
Finally finish setup my S8+
I have the S7 and was waiting for the S8 to give the S7 to the wife and get the S8 for me but that fingerprint scanner is a major flaw. Something I can't understand to be possible at such high level.
For me the s8 would never leave the shelf and Samsung would had to take the phone off the market in order to correct that hedious monster mistake

It's on the back because they couldn't get the under glass fingerprint reader working in time.
So they should have place it underneath the camera and not sideways on a place that is almost impossible to reach for a regular person, unless you have alien hands.
It's just absurd
"UI Smoothness - Frank speak all the demo set I touch is not very smooth, even the unit I own also, lucky Samsung had release a new Home Launcher version update in Galaxy Apps Store. All Samsung own apps now is update at Galaxy Apps Store, it is wise don't disable this. After the update, now the UI smoothness is far better, it is not extremely smooth but at least it is in acceptable level now. I wonder why no review mentioned about this, the phone is very fast but the UI smoothness is not top notch."
This is the only thing make me annoying about Samsung phones. The UI smoothness is terrible (compare with the phones with the same specifications from other brands)
Thanks for your review BTW.

Do you have baby sized hands ?
I find it a total non issue, works well for me using either hand + lots of apps are gearing towards using it for password access as a choice.
Congratulations. I'm glad for you.

This ! Man I love my phone but this is just absurd. After using one day my fingers actually hurt because of the weird unnatural position to use the FP scanner. I'm not sure what's wrong but Samsung but things like this make it hard for me to really love the brand.
Received the Maze Alpha a couple of days ago and have been running some benchmark tests. (3DMark to be added)
Figured I'd share them and if anyone has any questions/wants me to check something, please let me know

Kimovil is a great site in terms of being an index of phones and tablets. However, the information provided is often lackluster and sometimes even wrong, unfortunately. I find devicespecifications.com and china-prices.com to be more reliable.
Got mine yesterday... it's like a toy VS the Mi Mix... performances are very poor and the UI is a stock, at all with just a few customizations.
Got mine a few days ago... the Mi Mix is indeed a better phone in every way but it also cost 2-3 times more.
That said, like many of the Chinese phones out there today, it advertises a lot, delivers mediocre performance and features.
For the money, its a nice looking phone, totally stock android.
Terrible camera, very heavy (may be the heaviest smartphone I've ever used).
Slippery as heck - how on earth can any company release a phone especially one that is as hard to hold as the Alpha and not have any cases available for them??
After years of using so many flagships ie Galaxy Note 3, 5, S7 Edge, Nexus 6P, Pixel, Huawei Mate 9m P9, LG G4 V10 V20, Mi Mix, as well as tons of Japanese market models (I live in Japan), I've been trying out some of these more budget friendly models and as you all know they are not all created equally but all their manufacturers try to market unbelievable features for the price.
While they perform admirably in some cases I've learned to deal with many bugs, QA issues, and others surprises.
So far the Maze isn't bad especially for the money. It has its quirks and bugs but along with the other phone I'm using as dual daily drivers now (Umidigi Z1 Pro)... I have been getting by... lol.

How does it surprise you the phone is heavy? All information was readily available.
I agree that the camera performance isn't that great - need to mess around with manual settings to get proper shots or wait for further OTA updates (didn't they promise Android O on Facebook? We'll see what happens with that).
Should the cases have been ready before launch? Yes.
In Maze's defense, you can say it's still a new company - the Alpha is just the second product in the company's portfolio. Considering being a new player, Maze has done well so far and what I like is the company's isn't pushing 2-3 new phones every other month, which - hopefully - means the current portfolio of products will receive OTA updates and be maintained.

Thanks for the reply!
I never said the weight was a surprise. I'm just stating my observation. It is the heaviest phone I have used and its slippery!
For a new company the quality is actually very good... some other names who have been around longer could learn a thing or two.
As I said, I'm getting by with it as my daily... though would feel much better if I had a case!
Have you had issues with the adaptive brightness? I'm hoping its something they can fine tune in the next update.... slow to respond to lighting changes if at all.... and in pitch darkness it still does not go all the way down.

By the way thanks to Palm Trees for taking the time to put up all those tests. It really helps people get a non biased view of performance.
I hope you don't mind if I add a few more observations that people might find useful since there is so little info on the web besides the promotional press.
- Notifications work on the Alpha - as some of you can probably relate to, not all phones deliver notifications timely and reliably - but the Alpha does. (running my Z1 Pro at the same time sometimes see the same notifications come 10 min later or not at all)
- Bluetooth is reliable and stays connected. Currently paired to my LG Watch Urbane 2nd and its solid.
- GPS is acceptable which is more than many phones can provide (ie I had a Oneplus 3t before, and the GPS was garbage... slow to connect and could not stay connected and totally inaccurate - which is too bad cause I loved the 3t). The Alpha GPS locks on but there is a bit of drift here and there even in wide open circumstances. I test phones vigorously for GPS as the tall buildings and expressway ramps in Tokyo prove to be a great challenge and at the same time I test them in the suburbs where I live and there is much less interference. (honestly the Umi Z1 Pro has really good GPS!)
-Wifi range is below average. I'm 1m from my router and can't even get full bars. 10-15m away and throughput already starts failing.... not good.

Question is when will cases come out??
I have a hard time leaving a new toy on the bench so I matched the dimensions to another phone here in Japan and am using that case though the camera lenses are covered (which is fine cause the camera is not usable for me anyway).

got my Alpha a few days ago. been looking for a way to root it. none of the one click rooters work.
anyone have any insight into whether this phone will get rooted soon? does root have to be developed for each phone separately or can they be ported over etc.?
If we could get a working TWRP RECOVERY, it would be easy to Root the maze alpha...

Wrong Firmware on needrom!
Just an information for all who wants to flash the firmware or wants to port a TWRP recovery, the stockrom you'll find on needrom as maze alpha it's wrong!
This is doogee mix firmware!
Some stupid joke for the uploader!? Don't know.
I wrote an email to mazemobile about the wrong firmware an needrom.
They answered, that they don't upload this rom themselves! Maybe they will upload the stockromm on mazemobile.com but they don't know when....It's hard work..... Lol
So it will not possible to port a TWRP and impossible to root the maze alpha next time!
Sell it if you a root user!

Guys,
Anyone knows how to fix the very low intensity of the vibration. I can't feel it in my pocket and I miss calls...
Anyone succeeded in rooting the device and trying to increase the motor speed?
Thanks...
RE: Maze Alpha bugs (vibration, etc)
Maze claims that volume, brightness and battery issues have been resolved in the latest official build (08/16). Perhaps vibration issues have been fixed too, as Maze claims other "optimizations". This build should also have the August security patches:

BTW: Maze Alpha cases are all over eBay now. Wish someone would make something other than the checkerboard pattern... just a matter of being patient...

After using the phone for almost a day, I must say that the battery life is amazing. 10 hours of SOT is something I had never heard before but after using the phone, I'm more than impressed with the battery life. PS: on WiFi, over 80 apps installed.

Well I have got 7+ hours of SOT with 4G. Mainly setting up new apps, playing PubG and watching youtube.
Got thru 4 gb of data in those 7+ hrs , so yes I am pretty happy.
Now on 85%battery after 1.5 hrs SOT and 1 hr of calls.
Not too shabby
Well, I like Poco f1 a lot because of the amazing battery
But the call output through loudspeaker could be much better and so could be the display touch latency...I mean I don't expect 50ms like an iPhone but the response of this phone left much to desire. It doesn't lag, apps open quickly, switching between apps is smooth. You just feel disappointed when you scroll up and down quickly through app dower or web page. I think my nexus 5 was more responsive in this aspect. I'm not sure as it's dead now so can't campare side by side now.
I tried increasing pointer speed under settings, but it didn't do anything. It's probably for external devices such as mouse, but I tried anyway.
Lastly, I saw drop test of Poco f1 from 3 ft on youtube which broke it after single drop! The case provided in box is lose, so have to buy a body armor. I just wish they had used gorilla glass 5 like in mi a2. Mi a2 did survive a couple of drops in drop test uploaded on YouTube. I know gorilla glass is scratch resistant and isn't really shatterproof but still!
What's the use of a great phone if it's gonna break its screen on the first drop which is gonna happen sooner or later?!
It's already heavy so body armor will increase its weight even more...I also doubt that full screen swipe gesture controls won't work if the armor edges rise above the phone edges!

I thought I was the only one seeing YouTube videos on 60fps PUBG Gameplay and noticed touch latency is really high. Mi5 user here. Do you think poco f1 is a worthy upgrade over it? Want to use it for PUBG but the latency breaks my heart.
The love for it increases day by day!
I was seriously not a great fan of the notch n gestures..... But guess what now I'm loving it!!!
The time n battery with signal indicators around the notch is a great way to use the space.
Face unlock is the best thing that ever happened to me!
The gestures on this phone is amazing, but the back gesture has to be more efficient as the screen protector Kinda interefere??
N lastly the speed... It's fast!
Only thing I'm waiting for is the notifications n battery percentage for notification panels. Hopefully they update it fast.

I've been using this phone extensively for a week. Mine is a 6gb RAM + 64gb ROM. To sum it up, I give this a 4 star out of 5, where the missing 1 star goes to all the software bugs, big notch and overly rounded edges. Pocophone could have executed the big notch and overly rounded edges better if they had better UI, but for now, even some system UI cannot be seen or cut halfway. Overall, it is a fast, ambitious phone that gave the rest of the flagship a run for its money with its impressive hardware that actually truly reflected in daily use of the phone like heat dissipation is pretty quick on this phone, charging speed is acceptable, phone speed is quick but I do find that ram management could still improve. The camera is so so, even my Huawei P9 from 2 years ago can be a contender to this phone.
Eh. I get 2 days SOT with cellular network on with my Redmi Note 4 which has 4100 MhA. Compared to this Poco should have gotten double of that battery It would be an awesome phone. SOT is everything to me after efficiency. It's a no go.
Pocophone F1 fingerprint issue
Hello,
I just bought a new one Pocophone F1 last Friday and the fingerprint identification does not work. I add my fingerprint to the phone but it does not open the locked screen.
Have anyone idea what can I do to solve the issue? Or is it a factory defective?
Thank you for your answer in advance.

Hi,
Factory reset was solved the problem. It seems working fine.
Overall 8/10
Priceworthy 10/10
Cons
- Speaker is a bit weird
- No 4g (T-Mobile) USA
- Plastic back (I hope third party companies at least make custom backs)
- On stock rom when sun directly hits the screen, it becomes high contrast? (Fixed on custom rom)
Pros
- Battery
- Price
- CPU
- Speed
- Developer friendly
- Camera
- Does Not burn your hands
- Face unlock ( no face unlock on roms yet)
Overall i love this phone, second xiaomi phone and im impressed.
I've been using Poco for a month now. Although I think it's pretty awesome for the price, I have a feeling they should have executed some things a little bit better.
Poco reminds me of the day the Oneplus One came out, which was a little bit more competitive at the time.
Don't get me wrong, Poco is a phenomenal device but there are a few drawbacks, especially software bugs that are ruining the real life usage on some occasions.
Previously I used MI 6, which I still have, and it was probably the best android phone I ever owned, and I owned a lot of them. It was the reason I fell in love with Xiaomi for offering excellent devices at competitive prices, excellent hardware, frequent updates and dev support. Hell, even MI 5 is a joy to use these days due to phenomenal support.
After my experiences with Samsung/Huawei/Sony/Motorola etc. my conclusion is that only Xiaomi and Oneplus are devices worth the money, and not because of the cheaper price, but because of real life usage.
To get back on the subject, my MI 6 flies in comparison to Poco, it feels much snappier, touch sensitivity is much better, camera experience is similar. Poco's best feature for now, at least for me is the battery. I cannot kill this thing. I get 7 to 9h of SOT every time, and it's a real treat knowing I don't have to check battery level every time I leave the house for a longer period of time.
If Xiaomi fixes a few software bugs (and they will), this will be a real flagship, no matter of the price. Some things are not so visually pleasing, notch is too wide, screen corners are too round etc., but everything is working as it should, hopefully even better with future updates.
Some companies executed this "affordable flagship" category a little bit better, like Meizu. Take a look at their Meizu 16th (Snapdragon 845, 8gb RAM, notchless amoled display, premium build, etc) for almost the same price, but I wouldn't advise owning it, assuming support will not be so good.
My point is, even the cheapest "top spec" phones have competition, and first impression is the one that counts the most. People are picky, and small things matter. Xiaomi should benefit from these small complaints upon release od Poco f2.
Conclusion: If you need to upgrade go for the MI 8 since price difference is not so big anymore. Go for the Poco only if you need above average battery life.
Thank you
Touchscreen sucks. Laggy and inaccurate.
After two days of testing, I have to say the phone is really fast.
However, they could have set a bit different priorities as this is not an official "play" phone:
They could have used only 4gb ram and raised the price like 1%. In exchange they could have included optical image stabilization and nfc (nfc costs like 2$).
For me this two features would have been a great improvement. Also they should remove the strange 3 days waiting time to unlock the phone.
These are minor complaints and I think the phone was a good purchase.
Awesome
