Try switching to other 7.1.2 rom like
RESURRECTION REMIX(u can find it here on xda posted by dev_harsh1998)
or
DARKNESS REDEFINED( https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=170293&sort_by=date&sort_dir=DESC )
both are smoothly working on a6000

Well he said: My Lenovo 6000 plus screen was flickering after installing AOSP EXTENDED 7.1.2 rom.
Sounds like a new rom to me and sounds like you're a ****. You don't need to be an ass to people that may not be as experienced (I highly doubt you are not a noob yourself) as you. :silly:
Help or don't help...don't be a ****,

Just flashed it and haven't seen any screen flickering:

Marhsmallow update very slow J500FN

It's incredible, J500FN variants users waited a lot of months for a MM update that is very slow. The ram managament is awful (always 50+%) and it isn't smooth. The animations and the features are amazing, but it doesn't seem an official update. I can keep open like one app at time! If i open 2 apps together it crashes. Is this my impression or do you agree with me?

I already got back to Lollipop, but I really like Marshmallow. Let's hope Samsung will release an optimized update with a better ram management! Can anyone tell us here when a new firmware update will be out?

If I go back to CM12.1 will I have to reflash 5.1 via Odin ?

If you're on MM I suggest you to go back to 5.1.1 lollipop stock firmware and then flash cm 12.1
Thanks. Yes i have now done that and am running Resurrection remix 12.1. Is the rom that I was running before and is excellent. Every thing works really well I'm gong to wait for CM13 to catch up before upgrading.

I really got caught up in having to have to most upto date rom but there really is no need. Stick to 5.1 lollypop until the developers catch up

I didn't have the time to flash the rom because I'm waiting for a Kernel for 6.0 by Dj_steve, with it I hope performance for android MM will improve! Also i play a lot Pokemon Go and if I go with RR that is pre-rooted I can't play it (Pokemon go doesnt allow you to play if you have root). But I'll try it soon!
Cool, it's worth saving and try it some time. It's a good ROM and I ain't seen it anywhere else. What is i need to do to be able to post on other forums ?

POLL - Your favourite ROM

Hi everyone,
Today most of the users are using Custom ROMs, and it's bit phenomenon, as Stock ROMs doesn't provide latest Android version, also they're very much different from pure android (such as miui).
In which material based apps looks odd.
As miui is totally different from pure android, it doesn't have any material design.
So, today we see..
Which custom ROM is goin' awesome now-a-days.
What people are liking now-a-days.
So, redmi 2/prime users, it's your time.
Comment your favourite/Current ROM which you're using.

For your kind information.
This is poll.
I want to see which rom is going nice "now a days".
No one just stick to one rom. As a particular ROM can have bugs at any time.
That is the reason, I've stated 'now a days'.
So that new people who are coming, can get to know which ROM is super stable now a days.
And you say "try by yourself" .. I admit it, but only when anyone wants features most., at that situation only he should try.
But if anyone wants a stable rom, then he can check the poll, or ask anyone, so that he could see the stable ROM now a days.
XDA is free for everyone and every topics(of course gadget related ,mostly android)

[ROM][7.1.2] AOSPA 7.3.0 - Onyx New Build Released

Hi guys,
I want to notice you that a new build of Paranoid Android is available on the official site
http://get.aospa.co/official/onyx
The AOSPA 7.3.0 comes with various bug fixes and performance improvements.
I'm testing to discover if major bugs were be resolved.
For now, overnight freeze was not occurred.
magisk - work
substratum theme - work
gestures - works
unlock phone with face - work
viper fx - doesnt work
Thanks for the information. Nice to see the development for our onyx but still goes. Is this the official thread here? Or is it only on Google Plus?
What kind of GAPPS do I need to install PA ?
@kratosboss are you new maintainer for onyx?
--
Sim slot 2 bugs still persist since the first build of PA.
Any workaround for this?

Sorry man,
I was writing from my phone and I made mistake.
I'm not the mantainer of this ROM. I only found the post on xda (not the forum) with Onyx specifically bug fixes.
Although OVERNIGHT FREEZE still occurred!
I'm switching to AOSCP 'cause in AOSP 8.0 the equalizer don't work (even with Magisk and modules) and the battery drain in higher than normal!
With the PA from the firt release to the last 7.3.0 every morning the opx is dead and the alarm don't ring. I have to press power button to force the restart. How can I resolve? Thanks
7.2.0, 7.2.1, 7.2.3, 7.3.0, 7.5.0, 8.0, 10.0....... no different.
Q: why bother to flash? A: because im dumb enough
Q: who is the official maintainer for onyx anyway? A: NONE, a ghost, i dont really care
Q: Do you like the new PA's added features XYZ? A: NO. its a gimmick for me.
Q: So its useless? A: MAYBE. but its unusable.
Q: will he (maintainer) abandoned us again with broken build or unfixed old issues (just like the former maintainer) A: i hope not. but its crossed in my mind
End of chat: good luck then.. | you too..

Yep thats what I want to say...why people so curious about this ROM if they doesn't even know who is maintainer for this ROM..People here creating threads to share issues but don't know who is going to solve.
The ROM seems fine and functional but it doesn't seem to use OOS camera blobs so you can't get manual mode in any camera. Why are we hell bent on having crappy camera software?

This is a thread for PA marshmallow. Not Nougat.
The original thread for PA Nougat is closed because the dev had to quit.
There were no communication from PA team to OPX users which is quite sad (because that means that we won't have "full support". NB : I'm not criticizing the team).

Paranoid Android bug for OPX
I have a really serious problem here. I flashed my OPX the rom with nano g-apps as mentioned in the thread. Initial set up was fine. I configured personal settings. Now the device sometimes hangs during the usage. It just hangs while I'm using. Not a particular app or particular thing but it suddenly stops working and gets stuck. I then have to press power button for like 30 seconds to reboot it. I thought this is because first time but then this kept repeating and I'll be battery less if it continues.
Any help? If you wanna see some kind of bug report for my device, please tell me where I would find it to upload here.
PA is not updated anymore by a dedicated dev to OPX. So specific bugs won't be solved.
I'd advise to try an other rom...
Except that , you can try a custom kernel on it if it's possible (at one moment, RJ blocked kernel installation... Don't know if still the same.)

in terms of battery and performance: my personal favourite is AOSP Extended. it is quit impressing and have batter RAM management as compared to RR or crDroid or ViperOS or Even Official FLYME 5 or 6.

which is the most stable volte rom for wt88047 other than miui

Inside the Google drive link you should at first see two folders, go into the superclock folder then official los folder (if you're going to try dot os) otherwise for different ROMs might wanna check under the relative thread which kernel is working best. The latest is from 30 August of 2017 if I'm not mistaken

Have been using dot OS with Zetsubou Kernel for a few weeks, and the WIFI is sometimes quite unstable here. Got disconnected randomly, then the connected WIFI hotspot wouldn't show up in search (all the others in the area show up though), and have to reboot the phone to get connected again. Although not super frequent, it's quite annoying. Are you facing this issue as well?

Actually I just got my new phone and intend to use this R2 as a bluetooth audio player and hold my secondary SIM card. I see there have been quite a few Oreo ROMs popping up recently, are they generally more stable than Nougat ones, which are now mostly not maintained any more?
Thanks guys!
