X2 coming 6th November!

Yep, the X2 will be released (on vodafone) on the 6th of November.

Can't wait to have an X2 ROM!

I do but from the speculated specs it's not gonna have US 3G bands. I hope the rumors are wrong. Plus, I can imagine how much it's gonna cost. I'm not paying anywhere near a $1000...maximum maybe around $700.

i did hear this a while ago but have not seen it confirmed, when i ask by twitter on the xperia blog i was told it was up to vodaphone to announce it but on there website it just says november.

just got a direct message from the xperia blog on twitter. i ask why i have not see and reviews yet. they said that they are still waiting for the final x2 software and and we should see reviews soon. they said in a twwet to someone else that they should be sent out next week.
can they release on the 6 november when they still have not got the final software? i doubt they will, my guess would be mid to late november

Would seem odd, but then again it wouldnt suprise me if SE released this early without the final software update. It says so on the Voda website that it will come on the 6th.

To find out, go to this page http://www.vodafonetouchthephone.com/ , click on "skill game", while playing that on the bottom left of the screen different phones will pop up, everytime the phone pops up the date of release pops up with it. You may have to play it a few times as different phones pop up.

id be more interested in the new droid than a rebadge x1

looks like the 6th is the official date. but one thing i would point out is the satio's date is the original one and that was delayed by a week or 2 so the x2 might get the same treatment but lets hope not.

We won't see the X2 in the shelves before the very end of November the earliest.

I don't get it... so You guys are actually waiting for it?? damn... msm 7200a cpu is sooo yesterday comparing to snapdragon or a8 cortex devices. I would wait few more weeks/months if I were You. the worst thing one can do is to sign a vodaphone contract for 18 - 24 mths to get it. well... other than 8 mp camera, what's so special about x2 anyway? panels? please..... SE's quality??

Someone wrote in an SE forum that X2 might get different hardware specs than what leaked before (7200a). Lets wait for the final device and see what aktually is in it
Lets hope they speed it up a bit.

If it does come out on the 6th it'd be just in time before the warranty for my X1 expires so that I can send it for servicing of the keyboard. Been delaying it for so long cos can't do without it for a day.

Well what is SO strange if somebody WANTS that?
I don't ****ing care if it's "so yesterday" or today on paper.
If it works well - great, **** the "dry" specs.
And if it works bad, it's bad.
BTW I don't get any Vodafone contract, but simply buy this from SE.
As for device: great camera, great keyboard, good quality, and yes - also those damned panels. Now you get it?
Snapdragon - there are only two now, both touchscreen only, even no camera button - thank you.
I'm very picky as for hardware/formfactor, nothing convinces me.
N900 - please, a device which works in landscape ONLY???
So - not much to choose from!
And Android - that would be interesting but again - depending too much on Google - thanks.
I'd be really happy to have at least 3 devices I like to choose from but it just cannot happen!
HTC makes such a crappy devices (form factor/functionality)....

this phone would beat the crap out of every phone with snapdragon qcore chipset and adreno 320 gpu,it will beat the crap out of every phone and manufacturers also said it would give gaming perfromance like xbox 360,looking forward to it hope it gets announced globally,fingers crossed:angel:

Not sure. May be no. Most of the time we see some invention in China, but it never hits the global markets.

I don't think it'll ever be globally available because MiUI ROM is infringing a gazillion patents.

Of course it is a amazing cell phone with low price,but sorry to say...the company has limited the qualifications of buying,MIUI developers can buy at first,and then,maybe xiaomi only sell less than 1000 M2 per day,MIUI fans who have joined bbs of xiaomi have to scramble for them.when normal people can get it freely,it should be 2013.At this time,there is no doubt that we will have better choices,like SAMSUNG or HTC

Xiaomi "Two" is not out yet, I just bought a 1S which released last week. The Mi2 will be out in a couple months.

Well... it seems nice. To be honest I have only played around with it for a few minutes. It is running the default MiUI in Chinese, and I can't read it, I actually bought it for my wife. I may get a Mi2 later this year if I can figure out how to get it flashed into something English-y as my phone is getting to be old and junky (win 6!).

Really? 5mpx camera (X10i has 8mpx)? 512 RAM (384 RAM)? Or maybe MSM7227A SoC (X10i has QSD8250)? Only the screen has same res and size. Xperia arc/arc s has ICS too, and many other Xperia line devices on similar specs have ICS. But similar is not the same and u can't take ROM from one device and put it in another just because they have similar specs. That's ridiculous, same as this topic.

I am one of the owner of Xperia J phone. This is the lowest end Android phone that I have (in term of price) and I can tell you it is worth is, especially if you are going to use it for most of the time to read email and browse internet. The design is splendid and the battery life is good.

I am sure this gonna be highlighted among Flagships cause of Its specifications. But look vice, Not that great improvement !

Well, OPPOmart, they got 50% chance wrong so who knows.
And someone else mentioned 1+5 will still use 5.5' 1080P, with a much better looking than the one on OPPOmart.
The battery of my 6P is dying, and it's so hard for me to decide eIther keeping waiting for 5 or getting 3T right now.

Maybe the price for the 3T goes down, after the official oneplus 5 announcement

I'll go to China during summer, they have one more color option of 3T, and I like that one a lot.
Also the price is little bit cheaper (around 10%).
And when 5 will probably sell out in seconds lol. Had never been the lucky guy.

Not having a need to upgrade atm, the 3T is just fine for me :good:. Maybe when the 5T is announced.

Either May and June, or June and July. I still haven't flashed a single rom besides open beta on my 3T. I'm sure it'll still feel quite new to me once I start slowly trying out other roms before the 5 is released. Taking my sweet time because it's all worthy development. I might skip it, though. Only because the 3T is such a good phone. It's too soon to upgrade for me.
I'm still watching, though...
I like what OnePlus is doing. Hopefully, they keep up the good work.

Do you guys think the dimensions will be the same?
With a better screen to body ratio whis phone would be awesome and I would buy it.

No words on this ! But i think OnePlus will definitely change their look, and feel cause OnePlus is known for it ?

Just like an insightful poster said earlier, dont get your hopes too high on this ETA. OnePlus aint exactly a product launching guru and those new Qualcomm chipsets will be a bit hard to come by in the earlier months. One shouldnt reasonably expect the new phone to be easily available before the very last weeks of summer.
If i were in a hurry, i'd go for the 3T without any delay. Its not like its getting old any time soon. I would just wait a good offer.

In order to improve over the 3t, what I'm thinking OnePlus has to do are the following:
_ not follow samsung with that bezeless objective: optimization is fine (like Lg did with g6). I know that S8 is the state of art design, I tried it some days ago, but also the risk of glass breaks rises with it
_ camera: the 5 needs a concrete improvement both in sensors (1.7-1.8 like s8) and software. If they put 2 back cameras like g6, hope to have a good use of the second and not the usual B&W
_ battery: hope to have a 4000, the 3t has great autonomy, hope they will improve it
_ display fhd is ok for me, smartphones don't need qhd (i know what I'm writing, I had note 4 since February)
_ hw for me is OK, s835+6gb ddr4+128gb rom (maybe 256?) is beast hw
_ front facing speakers: utopy
_ Ip68 is a plus, I don't really care
Well that's all.
Ah, I'm waiting the year where smartphone will all have sapphire screen: ok gorilla glass, but scratches or micro ones, they always appears.

Android Oreo Go is a lite version of Oreo with optimizations for low-end devices only.OPO is a mid-end device(I'd love to call it a high-end device,but it has no v0lte,yet..that's a shame,ofcourse) with hardware capable of flying like jet rocket even on normal version of Oreo.
I'd love to reply even more if you open v0lte discussion thread sometime.

Yes,I've seen suicides because of v0lte.

I tried most of nougat and oreo roms but after some days device got sluggish. I don't think our device is super smooth as compared to recently launched phones. So if it's possible to port this Go edition then it's will be awesome.

Yes I also seen some ones tried to modify antennas and some developed there own modem by dissembling OPO.
But that's of no use??????????

In Belgium the OPO was (screw it, still is!) a high end device without a doubt. It's often been mentioned as midrange because of its midrange price but that was the coolest thing about this device, it hardly made any cuts on hardware and design compared to the other flagships. In many ways it even beat the competition for over a year (that's 5 years in tech years, lol). Shame they don't do that anymore!

Have you tried using the app Trimmer (fstrim)? Search it on Google play. It requires root access but it works magic in speeding up older phones.

Fstrim i used it to speed up my old 512mb ram galaxy s advance but its of bo use....

Was a high end device in it's time, with today's phones you can call it mid-end ...still it was high end one time(still more than capable from other mid-range 2017 phones)
