I got my Moto G5 Plus -32 GB delivered by Flipkart India, and it has some sound related issues . whenever I turn the Do not disturb mode on. Even if put it off back do not disturb mode. It goes to silent mode. It it causing me some really serious problems and i am constanly missing calls! Please help!the problems fixes when I restart my device but after half an hour the problem resumes. there are a lot of queries over this issue on the forum I've checked out all of them but the fix is not yet found!
Bro ,you have turned on DND total silence, hence everything goes silent, just switch to priority mode and changes the auto timer settings.. everything will be fine.

Hey guys.
Its starting to bug me more and more that sometimes the proximity sensor on the HD2 when in call mode it does not shut the screen off.
this means that i some how have managed to enter the mode to switch my phone on to flight mode mid conversation.
i notice it happens more when the battery is getting low (less than 15%).
its an issue as when i am talking to customers, i end up speaking to myself for a few seconds before i realise my phone has turned itself in to flight mode
has anyone else had this problem ?
proximity sensor when receiving calls
Hi adam
I have been having the same problem, when i make a call the screen goes off, but when i receive a call it stays on. I have tried putting my finger over the proximity sensor but this doesn't make any difference. Its starting to piss me off having to close everything that has been opened by my ear while on the phone.
Hopefully someone can come up with a solution for this.
Hi, I have that problem randomly both when reciveing and making calls. The workaround I do is when making a call I press dial and the put it in speaker mode until I can hear ring tones then I switch back from speaker mode. This works everytime. I would, of course, like to have it working as it should but for now....

Last time I had the problem turning the phone upside down and back helped. G-sensor seemed to affect screen blanking. But I didn't have the problem for some time.
Well I had the problem today, but I dropped the call unintentionally before I noticed, so I could not check this theory.
hi,
for me the sensor stops working when the phone application is in landscape mode, because i hold the phone more like landscape then protrait. so after i figured this out i make sure to hold the phone in protrait bevore moving it to my ear, since then the proximite sensor is working fine for me.

Suddenly vibrator functionality of my yureka is not working. It was working properly since I purchased it. First of all I thought it could be due to some sort of settings related to vibrations but I have checked/unchecked all the options available in setting. But still not figure out the problem.
Please help me. thanks in advance.
Go to status bar tap the plus icon and add sound tile to it then keep tapping it until you see vibrate or vibrate plus ring

I've put Do Not Disturb mode on when I'm driving, so that I don't get disturbed by notifications (e.gm whatsapp, Facebook, messages) popping up in bubbles at the top of the screen.
It's simply doesn't work - they still pop up! (albeit it doesn't vibrate).
I've selected the "hide visual notifications" option (see screenshot) but it doesn't work either way.
Anyone else have this issue? Any potential solutions?
Mine still give audible notifications in the night when it should be on do not disturb!
I have a much larger issue. My Galaxy S8+, I will turn on the setting to keep alarms on, one night it will work and the next night it won't so my alarm never goes off in the morning. Therefore I stopped using DND, turned all the setting to off even deleted the days it will operate to none and the setting STILL comes on every night at 1030. I go in to check my settings and they are all back on to the day before. Android is starting to get pretty poor with its updates.
if your display is on and in an app while in dnd calls will still come through if youre display is off they will not come through if youre display is on but not in an app the calls will not come through. No work around i can find as of now
This is so typically Samsung.. They finally fixed it, but only when the screen is off and when on the home screen
Ugh.. My Do Don't Disturb is dysfunctional.
If I'm listening to an audio book, watching Netflix or jamming to my tunes and someone calls what ever I'm listening to/watching pauses while the phone silently rings that's B.S. DND means exactly that DND. All calls should go straight to VM. when DND mode is on. Otherwise I can just turn the darn ringer off. DND is worthless.
For me works well. Only when the screen is off, like iPhone. Have you make the settings propperly? Because you can put if you want that calls don't show on screen.
A similar issue was fixed by hard-reset. Have you tried a factory reset? Factory reset stepMod Edit
Is there still no fix to this?
It seems like a pretty important malfunction and is super frustrating every night.
Anyone manage to get it working properly using Tasker?
On my S4, then S6 Edge I had a Tasker profile to turn on Do Not Disturb automatically when I plug my phone in to charge at night, and it worked a treat.
Not with the S8, no matter what I try, it still vibrates and activates the LED notification, even though it is showing as Do Not Disturb mode on, and in the settings I have ticked all the options to hide notifications when the screen is on, and off, and set no exceptions, or alarms only with the same result.
Any ideas?
So I've seen posts about this a time or two but why can I not get the vibration off. Turns off just fine on most custom ROMs and on APB2, but on stock oreo especially it DOES. NOT. TURN. OFF. Here is what ive done:
1) Turned off the haptic feedback in settings
2) gone into notification preferences at turn it off
3) gone into Emergency settings and turned off
4) gone into phone and message app and turned off there
5) used the appops com.android.stopfreakingvibrating set VIBRATE ignore
6) used xposed module to adjust vibration
7) turned off vibration in EX Kernel Manager app
ive heard this is a known bug. If true the apathy from the google powers that be should be ashamed. Plus, whether its the Hz rate or the ceramic or something else, the PH-1 has the most obnoxious vibration of any phone i've ever held. Unless I go to the extent of changing ROMs I cant get it to go away. Forgive me for wanting a phone to , you know, work. Somewhere in all of my pissing and moaning this post is to ask the question how do i turn it off, like really turn it off? . I'm anxiously hoping someone has an answer .
