OK, guys just flashed the Oreo No. 2. First must say - great one boss. No huge differences to AOSP, but great like AOSP. I have flashed microG instead gapps. It's not working perfectly, because I can't spoof the signature (one reason: ROM is odexed). But I can access the Play Store and use location services. Further this time I have flashed SuperSU instead Magisk. Using the Mono Theme. Will test all functions tomorrow. Great work, really.

Just installed this. Amazing ROM. Although missing a lot of NOS standard customization such as Button remapping and some statusbar customization, its a solid stable rom. It's still on early development so not too much diferent from dev's AOSP rom. Looking forward for the next build. Thanks Dev.

How did you get Arsenic kernel to work on AOSP by YumeMichi? Or is this some sort of older version of his ROM?

Sadly the one that got FM Radio until now is AOSP Oreo? Isn't it?

Both Validus GZR and XOS ROM (Halogen OS) suffer from the nightly freeze bug. With Halogen OS the phone isn't recognized by PC when connected with USB cable.

It's the first version. Last one from the 19th nov has Sultan's kernel.
Works pretty good for me.

Where did you found those roms? i can't find any thread on this forum, i'd like to know more info before flashing a straight rom from a link from a list..

As far as I understand most of the ROMs aren't official (they're not made by the device's official maintainers). Unofficial builds are usually only allowed on Google+ pages.

Have you ever seen duplicate threads? For example GZR ROMs already have a threat and a maintainer of the OPX. It wouldn't make sense to create a new one for Oreo. The only other explanation I have is that the unofficial builds are "too beta" for xda users

First time installing crDroid to your Redmi Note 5/Redmi 5 Plus, or coming from another ROM:
** Make sure you're running a proper working Recovery (CWM or TWRP)
1) Copy crDroid zip, gapps zip to your device
2) Boot into Recovery
3) Wipe cache, system, & data (or just cache & system for a dirty flash).
4) Flash ROM
8) Flash gapps
9) Boot up
For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk XX.x (whatever is most recent).
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.

Or can you use another recovey? if it is not remove the link recovery 3.2.1.0. because it is supposed to be already installed.

What do you mean by GSI? new firmware?
At this point you can update firmware before installing rom because recovery TWRP 3.2.1.0 (official) allows the installation of new firmware.
I apologize for many questions but it is to clarify everyone.

it's working great,,
everything working smoothly,,
no bugs as per my usage,,
in pe or stock rom,, when the battery goes below 15%, then ui is not smooth,, there's shattering issue.

Sorry for pinging again. But what is the procedure? I should just flash it with recovery?
And if somethings wrong can i go back to the old firmware?

Its community , community builds are official except that they dont have ota updater. As u can see from the about phone page Build is shown as official

Just follow as wriiten in the post only if u are coming from a9 or a8 u need to flash firmware.If u feel difficulty u can stay in ur preferred rom.

Are g-apps included with it?
