I fully admit that I probably missed something, but I do not understand am I just missing the nougat ROMs for the 360t? Is there a huge issue getting the 360h ROMs to work on the 360t

there r lots of YouTube video for that .. watch them you will get to know
The biggest feature of Nougat based ROMS, or more accurately CM14 and LineageOS14 based ROMS, is inconsistent instability.
Random things mess up at random times.
Every single 7.1.x based ROM I have tried for Z00T (almost all of them) have gotten pretty annoying sometimes. They are all almost there, but still short of fully stable. There's tons of really nice features, especially in OctOS and Resurrection Remix, but the random crashes of random apps has just become too much for me to tolerate.
I applaud the devs who have put in their time to give us these ROMs. I have a coworker who is an Android dev, and he says the problem is really with Nougat, not the devs. I believe him 100%, especially after reading articles that Pixel users have had with stock Nougat versions.
I am, as I type this, in the process of backing up apps and SD card data so I can revert to a Marshmallow ROM.
If you don't mind random app crashes, and mind you it's not all the time but you never know when to expect it, the 7.1.x ROMS are worth trying out. Aside from the bad times, Nougat is really nice.

I'm also facing similar issues on my zenfone selfie
Is there any stock ASUS MM ROM which is pre-rooted and can be flashed via TWRP or which MM custom rom is most stable? I tried RR MM rom, but it was also unstable..

Try HalogenOS, I found it very stable and well optimized for our devices
For as long as Nougat based ROMs are a thing I've been asking devs why the encryption doesn't work but so far I got no answer. This is pretty much the most important feature of a smartphone, of any computer really, but seemingly nobody cares. So, what's going on? And why aren't there any explanations?
That has been the problem with nougat roms in zuk z1 since its launch. So either use lollipop or marshmallow roms for encryption to work. Not many users out there use encrytion. So devs have stopped working on that part of issue. Hope you got ur answer. ☺☺
after miui i bought this **** called as stock android but except camera, everything is buggy....I think everyone is searching for custom rom, do u know any serious developer who working on custom rom in mia1??
my stock mia1 is stable and working just fine.. and NOT EVERYONE is searching for a custom rom.. it seems only you're the one who's looking for it ??

This phone on oreo is buggy as hell, battery drain fast, apps crash too often and sound from headphones/spesker is unlistenable. Nougat was much better. Yes, working custom rom would be awesome, but xiaomi hasn't released sources for oreo, only for nougat. So there won't be many custom roms until thay do. You need to know that there is a big 8.2.1 official update rolling outthis month which will (we hope) fix most of this problems.
Sent from my Xiaomi Mi A1 using XDA Labs
Nobody will release a custom rom now, because the sources are for nougat. Then when android 9.0 releases, xiaomi will drop 8.0 sources, and then won't be custom roms either because 9.0 is the latest android. and so on... xD.
I'm only waiting for custom kernels at least.

Now you're just over exaggerating stuffs. I'm still getting 6-8 hours of SOT, apps doesn't crash at all and apart from the hissing sound, the sound is actually pretty nice. Lineage OS is already booting and left wth minor bugs. Just wait for it if you can't stand with current buggy stock rom.
Yeahhhhhhhh another thread. Such a productive thread.
We should make more threads like this.
So im new to this forum but not to rooting and flashing. Basiclly though im thinking of rooting but not sure there are any stable roms worth flashing and any issues i should look out for. Someone please help me get back into rooting n flashing on op5. Thanks in advance.
Codename Phoenix and Candy ROM are the two most stable and smooth Oreo ROMs that I have used on the OP5. Most custom Oreo ROMs for this phone have bugs, are missing features or don't run all that smoothly. The majority of the Nougat ROMs and kernels for OP5 aren't going to be updated to Oreo because most developers have abandoned the phone since it was only sold for 4 months and unified ROM development for the OP5/5T appears to be impossible. Unless you are one of those people that buys a new phone every year the OP5 is going to end up being a terrible purchase. The Codename Phoenix dev is talking about getting a new phone (definitely not from One Plus) and abandoning his ROM for this device. The dev of Flash Kernel switched to a Pixel 2XL and might also abandon development for this phone. If you use a non-OOS ROM Flash and Blu Spark are the only two custom kernels left that you can flash.

There's xXx romb No Limits. It's VERY stable. Based on oxygen os. I'm running this for a very long time and had zero issues.
Would like to flash my stock rom with a custom ROM but I have read I will lose VoWIFI and VoLTE if I do so. Is this true still? I am looking at Arrow OS or lineage OS.
Happy for other ROM suggests too but VoWIFI is essential for me.
It's still not possible with Custom Roms & GSIs.
1). There's no SDK or source code available to implement voLTE into these phones.
2). It's easier to just change some libraries and values and port roms for cheaper devices like A20. Not many people are going to use the ROM anyway so It's just not worth the headache.
But still, developers might try get voLTE working on their rom if the phone model is popular enough.
Thank you
