hello everyone.
I installed many modded roms from 23S , but I have only one problem with it. Location service (without GPS) not working properly.
Has anyone ever experienced it ? What is the problem ? how can I fix it ? Any idea or help ?
LineageOS working fine. (Tested).

I disable wireless and wifi location, rebooted and enabled again. That worked for me... Seemed too simple to be true. It just worked. Let me know!

All stocks rom worked for me, I tried many of them.
- Install this app from Playstore: My location: Map and Direction by Atom AP
- Turn Location and GPS off, under Setting > Location
- Open app My location: Map and Direction you just installed, it will ask to enable location service, say yes
- It detect my location every time
I'm on Turbo V8.
Did Moon's method work for you?

Hello guys,
thanks for your help, and sorry that i was away.
So, the problem was very intresting, but solved. Im on BB72 23S Roms with Hungarian Language. (BB72 added).
I think I had problem with language files, because I went back to English languange, Location service working properly.
(when i used morelocale program and i changed default Language with it, location service didn't work too.)

Here, go to this thread and download the gps.conf file for Germany. Hopefully it will correct the problem you are having.

Hei guys i installed android with success but i have an issue...
My GPS stopped working and it can't track sattelites..

i was using my s4 until it worked fine. then it started lagging and all such problems started to appear so i flashed a russian stock rom via odin (the latest one). once i did that, the phones network disappeared. there was no network when i inserted sim. then i figured i should flash another rom of my region (Pak) so i did that. and once i did that, i could see the signal bars but when i made a call it showed the following error *network not registered* then i pressed *#0011# and saw there in basic info *imei_certi fail*
now i dont know what to do.
please help me out

i have problems with my first custom rom and thats [ROM][AOGJ][5.1.1][07/09]SIXPERIENCE 7.0 i looks for me nice i have s6 things i really like. but i have 2 big problems in it. gps and bluetooth.
gps dont work on google maps and other programs! and bluetooth says stopped evry time i want connect.
and i cant see nothing that there is a bug on this custom rom! please help what to do.

I've installed the last Marshmallow Firmware for the SM-G900H. Everything is working smooth and well but the network is going on and off. Unexpectedly, it goes off and it starts giving "Emergency Calls Only" and won't let me to select my network in case I want to manually configure it.
I've tried to installed the previous Modem but didn't work @ all.
What do you suggest? What might be the problem? Did anybody encounter such a problem?

Hello Kdio,
For this update, there is only India and Kazakhstan. So this tool won't help much. It's weird since It works sometimes for a good period of time and some other time it starts going on and off.
Thank you for the help. Any other suggested solution ?

As you didn't comment, I don't know your region. Below is the link with all 900H releases per region.

My (strong) suggestion, to verify if it is a hardware issue or not, is to select one (any) of the list above of your preference and flash as I've pointed out.
