I have tried everything Gps booster, etc do not work
SGS Tools keeps crashing .. I was using

Here, go to this thread and download the gps.conf file for Germany. Hopefully it will correct the problem you are having.

Hi I'm new on this forum, first of all I want to thanks all the cookers for their ROMS, you guys rules, but I have a little problem, I've recently install Srom-2.3.3GingerbreadX8 v2 by stelios97 & zousoum96 ROM on my X8, but the APN option doesn't work, previously I installed the Srom-2.2.1FloyoX8-V3 by zousoum96&stelios97 ROM and also APN didn´t work, please guys is there any solution or it is a bug, by the way I'm from Peru, so sorry about my writing,

Hi guys i was wondering if i could please get some help in here.
I have this phone with 3 in Uk and google maps and everything was running fine on their stock firmware untill i flashed it i570exxjd1 build number eclair.xxjh7
I installed the latest google maps from the market but it keeps saying searching for gps and never works

maybe try to install angry gps or something similar, and check if gps is really working at all with this rom...

I just installed the joyo rom and its works perfectly but only my gps doesnt work at all its says to me that " the current location is unavailable" am i the only one ? And i wanted to ask you if the luwa rom still has the privacy issues ?

Has anyone ever experienced it ? What is the problem ? how can I fix it ? Any idea or help ?
LineageOS working fine. (Tested).

I disable wireless and wifi location, rebooted and enabled again. That worked for me... Seemed too simple to be true. It just worked. Let me know!

All stocks rom worked for me, I tried many of them.
- Install this app from Playstore: My location: Map and Direction by Atom AP
- Turn Location and GPS off, under Setting > Location
- Open app My location: Map and Direction you just installed, it will ask to enable location service, say yes
- It detect my location every time
I'm on Turbo V8.
Did Moon's method work for you?

Hello guys,
thanks for your help, and sorry that i was away.
So, the problem was very intresting, but solved. Im on BB72 23S Roms with Hungarian Language. (BB72 added).
I think I had problem with language files, because I went back to English languange, Location service working properly.
(when i used morelocale program and i changed default Language with it, location service didn't work too.)
