Hi guys,
Generally the camera of.the g5 plus is great for the price.
But in night times, the camera over exposes the images in close up shots in auto mode.if i tune the pro mode the images are okay but in auto ( anyone would prefer in certain situations) it just over exposes the images and the foto is all white..
Is there a fix available ..how r u tackling this ..give ur ideas .

Hi all,
If I take a picture using the camera in AUTO mode it comes out very dull. Even the on screen image is dull but my brother's is a lot brighter. Is there anything I can do to improve things without obviously going into night mode etc.
Please help and we both have XDA Mini S units.
Thanks
I had the same........if you use the manual setting Night, it is much better and now useful to make puctures!
best regards,
HW
Hello everyone. in my moto g I noticed that when I take a picture with the front camera (any app) the frame that is saved is that this one or two seconds before the time when actually shooting the photo. with the rear camera does not have this problem. only if you use the hdr the problem disappears as the latter tends to delay the capture, the problem is that the app I use does not have the option to use the HDR.
someone has a possible solution?
edit: I realized that the problem is in low light conditions. When there is a lot of light the camera works perfectly
Hi everyone ,
The image taken in close up shot is just plain green. Is there any problem running
The problem occurs when i capture closeup shots on Stock camera , the captured image is just a plain green image .
There is no problem for long shots.
Other camera apps like Cameringo working fine .
My One Plus 2 running on OOS 3.1.0 and latest boeffla kernel .
Since this morning I'm facing that problem, too.
For me it seems that the green image occurs, the darker it is around me.
I set the Camera app to Manual an not Photo and left everything at "Auto" - seems to work, yet.
So I've seen an issue occur when taking selfies, note only on the system camera app. It's as if the color saturation and brightness are way off. Three of the photos were taken in selfie mode, the clear photo was taken while I was recording with the front camera. Recording is fine and looks as it should, the wide selfie also looks normal. I tested selfies in snapchat as well and it works as it should, I also tested the system camera in other apps like the google messages app and it will take front facing photos normally. I'm not too sure what's going on here and want to see if anyone else has had this issue and if they have resolved it.
I am going to just rewipe the phone as clearly this is a sort of system bug.
Things about my phone:
Originally ATT S7 Edge
I flashed the latest U firmware on this device and the TMobile modem firmware.
I didn't have any issues occur until now.
The attachments are too large for XDA to host so heres a link to the photos I took, hosted on drop box.

Hi there, I've got rooted A1 with Camera 2 API enabled.
So, low-light photography on A1 is plain terrible, I've found out that the camera automatically bumps up ISO to values like 6400, and the photos are noisy. Manual mode of A1 allows up to 3200.
This can be fixed by setting ISO manually to lower values, however then you're stripped of HDR in low light and all the different modes.
Next thing is, that in RAW files white dots appear. I've read the same problems existed in ZTE Axon 7 however it was fixed. (https://www.google.pl/amp/s/forum.x...s-pattern-raw-photos-zte-axon-7-t3579684/amp/)
And Oneplus 5 https://forums.oneplus.com/threads/...s-by-third-party-cameras-on-oneplus-5.612091/
The app I used for Raw pics was lightroom, however.
Besides all this, I've got older post on Google camera (gcam), and I don't well, that's another thing I suppose.
So, can anybody try taking raw pics in lightroom with good light and show me results? Did xiaomi fail to implement camera 2 api properly? Did I screw something up?
I wonder if I screwed up something while modding my phone and now I've got some weird issues

Take care, peeps.
Xiaomi didnt implement camera api 2, the device out Of the box has no cam2api.
