Phone stuck in boot animation - ZTE Axon 7 Questions & Answers

I'm a relative beginner to flashing and rooting I used the ZTE axon 7 toolkit and now my phone is stuck in the boot animation. I can get into TWRP but when I flash the LineageOS zip in TWRP I get the following in red: Updater Process ended with Error: 7 Error Installing zip file '/external_sd/lineage-14.1-20170605-nightly-axon7-signed.zip' Updating Partition details....
....done Not sure what I'm doing wrong any help appreciated.

Did you fully wipe system before installing lineage? Did you make a back up of stock before installing in TWRP? Did you make sure your specific model is supported for that particular ROM?

Bad download?

Install Nougat bootloader.

I installed Nougat and tried to flash it using TWRP it installed successfully but when I turn the phone on I see this error image imgur.DOTcom/a/1EljH I can't insert links because I'm under 10 posts it seems)

[Q] D803 Help!

Hello XDA Developers,
I had a device that was rooted on stock rom and recovery. What happened was that an OTA was installed and it went to the "boot verify certification" screen. I had to install Ubuntu to get TWRP running again.
I'm able to boot into TWRP, and I tried installing different ROMs, using adb sideload, from Stock ROM, ParanoidAndroid, and Madri-ROM.
The first one was able to install, but when I reboot the phone, I get stuck on the LG logo. I wait for an hour and it still does not do anything.
So now I try the other two custom ROMs, and I get an error saying "E:Error executing updater binary in zip "... .zip".
Then it reads "Error flashing zip '... zip'.
My question is: What else can I do to get this phone working again? I would like stock ROM, and preferably stock recovery back (Recovery is secondary).
Thanks in advance,
DaAznMan
Note: When I use adb sideload, the .zip file that gets transferred becomes a file called 'sideload.zip'. Is that correct? If not, what do I need to do to fix it?

Unable to flash roms

When I try to flash CM13, twrp says ''Updater process ended with ERROR: 7 Error installing zip file '/sdcard/cm-13.0-20160603-UNOFFICIAL-oneplus2.zip'''
Before that I had my phone encrypted and was unable to mount any partition in recovery, so I installing stock OOS over the fastboot. The install failed(bootloop), but I was able to flash TWRP the same way and recovered OOS. Now it gives the error above. Any thoughts?
Make sure you're using the right firmware with the different roms.

TWRP 2.9.7.0 to hybrid twrp inorder to put RR rom.

Hi ! as stated above im on 2.8.7 twrp but i need to put that sick RR rom, so I was wondering how to install hybrid twrp. I tried using the flash image thing on twrp to install that image and selected recovery partition between that and boot partition, but that didn't really work. I fastboot didnt help either, so since i didnt find any tutorial i was wondering if you pro's could help
what you mean by didn't really work?what the error message when flashing the recovery?
maybe the recovery file is corrupted, you maybe need to redownload it again and reflash it

Can't boot to recovery.

Phone is Lenovo A6000, not plus. I installed multiple TWRPs, 3.1.0 and 2.9 something.
I even installed CWM, still couldn't boot to the recovery.
Now, I know how to flash with fastboot, and I know how to boot. Booting doesn't work at all, it says "booting" and never finishes.
Flashing says "okay" and I reboot, do a reboot to recovery, and I get put into bootloader/fastboot.
Any help? I just bought the phone today, no one messed with it.
Edit: Nevermind. CWM installed. How do I install TWRP, so it works? Also, forgot to mention that the phone has the latest stock rom, 4.4.4.
Edit#2: While trying to install "TWRP-3.1.0-Lenovo-A6000.img",
I got an error.
"Can't open /tmp/update.zip (bad)"
"Installation aborted."
Edit#3: Same error with multiple TWRP images.
First of all the twrp 3.1.0 is meant for nougat roms. Since you are flashing that recovery on KitKat rom which it won't support. So first try updating phone to stock lollipop. Then flash twrp 2.8. then take a complete backup(most important) and save it on SD card. After that flash any rom you want. If you are flashing marshmallow or nougat rom then after flashing rom flash 3.1.0 twrp.
I have long ago (10 minutes after last edit) fixed the problem already by flashing stock firmware through some weird software, and then started updating to latest lollipop firmware, and then installed TWRP 3.1 and then installed RR android version 7.1.2. But, thank you for trying to help. I hereby ask a moderator to close the thread because the problem was resolved. Thank you.

Stuck on "Android is Starting" after flashing boot

I had OB3 installed with the unlocked bootloader and I wanted to try installing TWRP and going back to stock recovery.
So what I did was:
1. Install TWRP
2. Launch TWRP and confirm that it is working
3. Flashing boot.img from the OB3 stock dump from the related dev thread
4. The OS boots but it is stuck in "Android is starting". It seems that it cannot complete the process and starts from scratch for some reason
After this issue, I also tried to sideload OB3 OTA but no avail.
Do you have any idea what I might be doing wrong? Or is there a solution to this issue without reflashing the full rom?
If I recall when rooting my phone, after flashing the files in TWRP I had to select which partition to reboot to (A or B) and had this same problem before realizing I was booting into the wrong partition. New to Android so someone with more experience may have more useful info....
