Check the link that has been sent up in the thread, it has all the information concerning Substratum. Also pay attention to which theme you download and apply, they must not rely on Android System. :good:
I'll have to look further. Tried theming a few apps and got some force closes using archangel translucent.
Had anyone used the archangel translucent? If so, can I have a little assistance. I don't want to mess up system settings

Hey, sorry I didnt get back to ya earlier.
But I followed the thread here, they have APK's you can install for the notifications if you just search the thread some.

I only just asked lol Thank You though.
I saw that thread also but was under the assumption you themed the notifications with Substratum. The other thread is all over the place unfortunately, pretty hard to follow and find something that just themes the notifications (did you find one?) not to mention the changes with the nav-bar with regards to moving the icons for screen burn. Hopefully the OP will tidy it all up one day and list all the apps with descriptions in one place.
I actually managed to theme the notifications with it but it screwed up the tiles, I then applied a Samsung Theme and it reset the notifications to white. Have not been able to recreate this again, even after manually removing the apps, keeps telling me the app is already installed.... Still playing with it though so will see.
Thanks again!
Yeah some work, some don't...Im not rooted, obv, but I have pretty much everything blacked out with a samsung theme, substratum, and a few apk's takes some trial and error but I was able to get there. Lots of it requires reboots to add or delete.

Try out XBackground Xposed Module
I didn't test it yet on our device but I was going to do the same once I had time and backups ran
I think I must be the only person that actually likes the white dialer.

You can try an xposed theme if you haven't already. Some of these will change the dialer. It will also theme other stuff so that may be good or bad depending on your taste.
If interested, check the xtheme thread in the Android Theme section.
Tried xtheme. Works for system menus and what not but not dialer. thanks for the suggestion

i wonder if something just like this exist for the N3?

Yes, but only if you're rooted. If so, install Xposed framework and then Wanam module from Play Store. In there you can change this and ALOT more ?.
I was actually wondering this as well. Custom ROMs like Alliance have the option to change the brightness slider background color, but if you use Wanam you can only change the notification panel background or the header background. I looked around in SystemUI and tried to find the png, but I couldn't find anything that's specific to the brightness slider background. I suppose if you use wanam you could use a custom png image for the notification background, where the top 80 pixels or so are the brightness slider background you want...

He gave you the answer, the only cost is using Alliance Rom, and that gives more than it takes, so it's a win win
Plus if you change roms that's only one of many more options that you'll have, that you don't have now... But, free choice and all that.. Just sayin.

I saw how lacking it was too and just D/L icons from Google that I liked since you can choose your own image for any icon. Its a lil tedious but you can really do some customization
I just Googled Camera Icon & chose something I liked.
Hope it helps
Thanks for the tip, at the time I'm using nova and icon packs from the play store
NP at all, I run Nova in my truck on my Note 4 via a Mimicsx2 module and it's customization is paramount.
V20 I only need to swap a few uglys out.
You can use QuickShortCutMaker or AppShortCutMaker to change Icons for stock launcher too without any other launcher!!
To set the new icon, you have to be sure that there is place for it on the homescreen!!!
