Hi new g2 owner just upgraded from S3. Im liking the phone so far but the huge nav bar taking up real estate is getting annoying. I couldnt find an answer for this but is G2 xposed working for the sprint model of the G2? thanks
It works great on my Sprint G2!

Yes I have it set to 50 percent but it's not transparent. The wierd thing is when you slide over to Google Now it goes transparent but when you go back to the home screen it becomes solid again.

Im REALLY annoyed by that ugly ATT 4g icon, the inconsistent sizes, the information overload that fills the top of the screen basically. I just moved to android with this S4, previously I was a happy iPhone user. Is there any simple way to replace/theme the status bar icons? and for the love of god can I just turn them off without having to disable the services?
Im rooted, running Nova, I've tried obsidian menus bar, doesnt work and clearly would be a bandaid anyway.
Id rather not go trolling around in the systemui.apk, but if thats the only way and its safe to OTA afterwards then Ill do that. I just really hate the design of the status bar.

I'm like you. I very much prefer as minimalist a status bar as possible, so I made icons so my status bar looks like this with everything enabled:
Obviously, I never have all those icons active. Usually just the battery, signal, wifi, and alarm are active, but I enabled them all so you have an idea of what they look like. I posted all the icons in this thread if you'd like to use them:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2275858
Also, there's a mini tutorial about how to cluster the signal strength and signal type/in-out icons, because I think it's an absurd waste of space to use TWO icon spaces just to basically show you have cell phone signal and how strong it is.
Basically, I understand your pain. The clutter that comes with the stock status bar is absurd.
Is there a way to change the dialer to a dark theme instead of bright white?
I have been looking around. I will let you know if I find anything as I am interested in it as well

Try out XBackground Xposed Module
I didn't test it yet on our device but I was going to do the same once I had time and backups ran
I think I must be the only person that actually likes the white dialer.

This works on most backgrounds, but then the text is unreadable.
I tried RocketDial - horrible. Had a one second delay after each key press.

I would like to keep the original dialer but dark. I like having the record button right on the dialer.(enabled with xPosed)

You can try an xposed theme if you haven't already. Some of these will change the dialer. It will also theme other stuff so that may be good or bad depending on your taste.
If interested, check the xtheme thread in the Android Theme section.
Tried xtheme. Works for system menus and what not but not dialer. thanks for the suggestion

There are a few xthemes that changed my dialer - Simplicity, Simplex, Gem Flat.
Maybe these don't work for everyone though.

I think it's that some people like light colors and some dark and it does show through the clothing you wear day to day. I prefer dark colors on my phone.

Ok thanks, but mine definitely isnt doing that. Ive long press for about 20 seconds. Im trying to remember during the multiple setups (rooted 2x) did I not set something up.
Let me track a co-worker with a V10 down and try his brb lol
Update: he had a LG Stylo 6.0.1 , but it also wouldn't do it.

That's very odd. Although 20 seconds is definitely too long. Just 2 at the most, make sure you don't move the actual icon. Sorry it's not working for you.

Could it be that some carriers have it disabled? I wouldn't be surprised. They've done stupider things.
Stock unrooted t-mobile here and it works for me.
I figured out why some us dont have it... The only way you can change it is if you chose the launcher with the app drawer..

I saw how lacking it was too and just D/L icons from Google that I liked since you can choose your own image for any icon. Its a lil tedious but you can really do some customization
I just Googled Camera Icon & chose something I liked.
Hope it helps
Thanks for the tip, at the time I'm using nova and icon packs from the play store
NP at all, I run Nova in my truck on my Note 4 via a Mimicsx2 module and it's customization is paramount.
V20 I only need to swap a few uglys out.
You can use QuickShortCutMaker or AppShortCutMaker to change Icons for stock launcher too without any other launcher!!
To set the new icon, you have to be sure that there is place for it on the homescreen!!!
Is there some trick or setting to allow for normal icon positioning and adding on the tmobile lg g6? I've looked around and haven't found anything. If I remove one it won't let me add a new one, very strange. That
