Hello guys.
I have one Redmi 2 Prime Global with Miui 7.5.0.3 Android 5.1.1 and after it changed, thru OTA, to Lolipop the wifi got crazy.
It's connected in wifi but it, randomly, stop traffinc data. A simple put in airplane mode, fix it, but after a couple of minutes I lose the wifi again.
For the sake of the discussion, I already have searched all the internet and the mess that is the Miui forums. Some other users have the same issues but there's no information about solution.
It seems that it's a driver issue with lolipop and even the Miui 8 beta has this problems. I know because I have tried it.
I trully appreciate if anyone can help me on this issue or knows any more info about it. Thank you.

Welp. flashing Jerrica makes things better, but does not solve it.
Now my phone has a more stable wifi, but its has the same issues still and randomly reboots (something like one time in a couple of days).
Any more suggestions are welcome, as it seems that you have experienced similar issue.
This might not be the Problem but I think it is ....
Flashing MIUI Update 7.5.3 caused many a Problem ,
Like , the Navigation bar Stops working .. Volume keys Stop working , phone Reboots itself and heats like hell ...
I tried Every Method to solve it , even with a Format , didn't work ,,.. then I just reflashed the ROM and it was Gone .. if you don't want to Do a Format (dalvik/cache/data wipe) then Dirty flash it again .. but I'll say , do a proper flash , backup all your apps and data using titanium backup , upload your things to google and do a Proper flash ..
Hope it solves it , I have Experienced the problem and This Solved it in many cases apart from This too . MIUI 7.5.3 supports both 5GHz and 2.5GHz so it shouldn't be a Problem with Wifi ..

I think you should flash a fastboot rom of 7.5.3, i am out of suggestions:laugh::laugh::laugh:
Quick update, for the sake of who has the same problem.
Nothing fixed it (in any lolipop version). But last week Xiaomi published the Miui 8.6.9.29 beta, after a few weeks with a pending update for the Redmi 2 prime. With this update the wifi, finally, is fixed.
Thank you guys for the help.
Ok so here's what happened:
After getting really bored with EMUI I found a custom Lineage OS rom for this P8 so I flashed it with no problems. When I turned up the volume nothing would come out from the speaker. Then I flashed stock EMUI to find out if the ROM was the problem but no, it persisted although I could call and use both speaker for listening but only in calls. So I tried with a custom ROM based on stock EMUI that supported some other things but again there was the same problem. I think I'm the only having this problem because I couldn't find anyone else having this issue so any help will be appreciated
Ok nevermind. I solved in someway...
Alright cool, but how? I'm having the exact same issue.
I ve seen this adressed but upgrading to Flyme 6 does not solve the problem for me. Proximity sensor works occasionaly then not. With sensor utility it works like 5 times out of ten. I tried all G versions of Flyme 5, Flyme 6, chinese betas, problem still persists.
Does anyone have an idea or had a similiar issue. Thnx

If you update to new firmwares with clear data ticked then this will not happen, if you update with clear data ticked then Flyme 6 has an option to calibrate the proximity sensor and sccelerometer under the settings app. (Settings>Accessibility if i'm not wrong). Try doing it, if that doesn't help too then it most definitely is a hardware issue.
My phone is gionee f103(not pro) and rooted . For installation of custom rom,I followed the instructions in this guide and installed the zip from TWRP. It installed without any issues. But when I rebooted, the device got stuck in bootloop. I was not able to use either recovery or factory mode. Please tell me , what do i now , please.......
