Yotaphone 1 - YotaPhone

Please please give me the link for thread for rooting yotaphone 1 and not the yotafone 2

Try this link. If it's root, that's all you need, try Kingo Root windows application. As always, keep a copy of stock firmware, just in case.

Root SM-N900V MJE

Hi everyone, I'm having some issues trying to root my Note 3 SM-N900V on MJE. Here are the methods I have tried thus far:
-Installed/Ran Kingo
*Result: Device not supported (Multiple attempts, tried USB 2.0/3.0, uninstall/reinstall drivers and applications, flashed stock MJE rom then ran - same result)
-URDLV
*Result: Odin FAILED (used MJE from provided link to create .tar in terminal window, made second .tar in terminal using MJE from sammobile - same result, had to flash stock rom with Odin to get phone working again)
Is there a way to root this phone?
Same problem.....can't root this phone
I have tried everything.... anyone have a solution????

Use vroot. It will and it will not trip Knox. I soft bricked mine this morning after screwing around. I used Odin to get back to stock MJE then I rooted with vroot. It a simple one click root but you have to search for the method of removing the Chinese superuser

For this device you need Kingo 1.1.8. (Found on there Facebook page) If you downloaded Kingo from there site, it is the newest version witch may not work properly. Uninstall the version you have, reboot your PC and install 1.1.8. You may need to run Kingo more than one time before it takes. I had to run it 3 time before it took.
Good luck

Thank you for the reply, this is what I ended up using and it worked flawlessly. Installed app, clicked root, and I was rooted.
For those who don't know: Only drawback to Vroot is that it installs Chinese SU. For fix, type 'Replace Chinese Superuser' into google and follow first, or second link (first is video). (can't provide link because I haven't posted 10 times :/ ) The fix is easy and works instantaneously.

As far as Kingo 1.1.8 goes I was never able to find it... I read that people had success with that version but every time I followed links to obtain it I just got the same ole 1.2.0. (went to FB page and installed version was 1.2)
Thanks again for all the help everyone, Vroot did it for me
Cool, glad it worked out for ya.

I had a root, but updated by mistake.

I rooted with the famous towel root. It was amazing by the way. Well needless to say I updated by mistake inwhich I attached a screenshot of my specs. I have thd active by the way. But I need to root again. Please help!
There are many ways to go about this. You can try updating Super su to regain root or any number of other approaches. But frankly the easiest and most stable method is to start over again:
1. Backup any files or photos that are important to you
2. Use Odin v. 3.09 to write a stock firmware image to your phone. Choose a build that is pre June 6th
3. Do a factory data reset
4. Use Towel root again
.
.
Or you could try this method which uses towelroot again and preserves your knox warranty

I apologize for taking so long, I just took notice to this reply. This seems like it suits my situation. I will try it tonight after my classes. Thank you! :good:

Revert to stock and root without reboots.

Hello, I have had a few people ask about how I reverted back to stock and managed to root without having reboots so here is an outline including links.
First you will need to use ODIN to go back to the original stock firmware.
Stock Odin for P907A can found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-pro-12/general/sm-p907a-att-version-news-t2850564/page1
Stock ODIN for the P900 can be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2724895
For those who don't know how to use ODIN, here is a nce guide for you: http://androidcentral.us/2014/02/how-to-flash-firmware-using-odin-samsung-devices/
Now the next thing you need to do is root using TowelRoot, but DO NOT install SuperSU yet! After rooting use the debloat script in this thread (You run it from your device using terminal, I used the terminal function in ROM Toolbox): http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2797540
I only used the option to disable KNOX and the updater along with the option to disable the startup sound.
Once you have successfully done those things, you may now install SuperSU. It will no longer ask you about KNOX, because it is properly disabled and will not cause you any reboots. My Note Pro has been rock solid stable and lightning fast after doing this.
NOTE: You will not be able to update to new firmwares after this.

Please make sure you hit thanks in these guys' threads for their hard work!
EDIT: If Jellybean comes out for our tablet I would not update unless the trade off was worth it to you. Or obviously if an exploit for the jellybean update were found then you would want to. If you did want to update, you could re-enable the updater by using the enbloat script that was with the debloat script.
Thank you for your help. Now I will be able to use my tablet more frequently

Is there a way to do this, but for the SMP-900 version the first link with the odin files state that they are only for the SM-P907 version? I have reverted back to stock but my tablet reboots qute often and with school starting it would be great to avoid that while taking notes. Thanks!

Are the kingroot's developers working on rooring smg530fz? Or at least someone? Please help .
thanks
I think you're right bro
But I advise you to wait to have an access to a computer instead of trying to root and avoiding brick

expert please help

My phone is huwaei p8 lite. I rooted my phone by king root. Then replace it by super su. Now I want to install viper4Android but I can't do. I tried to install busy box but it's saying it may installed but not in my selected location.
Do you have SE Linux set to permissive? I don't have the phone myself but the general help I could give is try installing busybox to both "xbin" and "bin". Doing these three should help! If not, let us know.
