I have found one more new feature. Now there is a reboot button on the power-button menu. That's pretty kewl. Don't have found bugs until now. Works very good. If I found a bug I will tell you.

Not only brightness, but gamma as well. But that's pixel exclusive. Google had the code hidden on 7.0, which few apps from play store been able to expose as well. Those apps used to work on my previous Nexus phones, but never worked on MZP. Now we have 7.1 and unfortunately Google has erased the code completely... Now we can't reveal it through any 3rd party apps anymore...but few OEMs have their own solution like One Plus, Moto Z2 Play
Is the android 7.1.1 really so much bigger? On android 7.0 I had 1.5GB free on system-partition. 800MB bigger? Why? Or is the update.zip in there and must be removed? Would like to understand that. Thanks!

But is it normal that the system partition is so much bigger? I mean, there is more in the partition as before. 800MB more. For what? Or I'm wrong and I remember wrong values from before? :silly: Or is it for the update.zip? But would it be so, then android would remove it after update, or? Can you check how it is on your phone, please Hope that I'm not switch off the usb plug to early

I updated downlading the update from sammobile to be able to update through mobile odin and keep root access.
So far, so good.
About "My Story", I cannot find it, I only have "mini Diary", but since I don't have my language set to English and I never used the old application, I have no clue if it is new or old.

I think the SS button combo changed in ICS. Try using power + vol down.

It was there since gingerbread. cool isnt it

I do not know, i tested it only on 5.x , but they are apps, if they don't work you can uninstall them .

No, its a framework and hardware thing. On the Nexus 5 it would also destroy your battery.
Seems great so far. The camera app is very plan even against the google version. I can not change the resolution for the video? And the photos are either 2mp or 8mp

"New icon" and "Bug fixes" nothing great
I feel its much much faster
New Icon, definitely faster focus and no lag.
Only thing that hasn't been fixed is the front facing camera lag in low light
It also appears to be Wear aware. Looks to allow control from my Moto 360.

A new neat feature of this update is that when you're running with the phone in your pocket, it really thinks you want to take a picture and opens up the camera.

That was there before, it's called Quick Capture. Go to your Moto app > Settings > Actions > Quick Capture, uncheck.

I know it was there before, I've actually used it intentionally a few times before. But it never would open up when it was in my pocket. Suddenly after the update it started doing it. Maybe it was just the shorts I was running in, but it had never happened before.

anyone using this for their note 9 ? i have it install in my Note 9 (exynos duo), everything is good until i click on button on pie control, it take nearly 2-5 second to load apps, is kind of irritating for me, anyone facing this issue ? or i miss out something ?

I JUST started using PIE controls by coolace (due to having seen it on this threat). It is working great so far, no slowdown or hangs or anything.

i found one funny issue with my pie control, if i open pie control in any screen other than home screen, it work perfectly but in home screen it take few second to load, any one have idea what it cause ?
I am actually taking back my recommendation on this app...
more than once I have had it kind of "take over" my screen.
What I mean is, any touch on my screen is attempting to touch something in PIE control (and not actually graphically showing PIE control, btw).
you effectively can't do anything at that point.
Its been a few days since I stopped using it, but I really did pretty exhaustively try to figure out how to stop this.
I really liked this app's "swipe" method instead of pulling the PIE out and having to like hold on a button for a quick sec, this app lets you do it in a smooth swiping motion.
Anyways, ive given up and gone back to onscreen navigation keys.
Every method I have tried (including XDA's navigation) has had some small hangups that eventually have problems working.
And no I haven't reported errors and such in respective threads, I just give up because my "lots of effort into having a hacky phone" days are behind me
Go into setting and turn digital wellbeing usage off then go to all apps data usuage tracking and click on show system apps then turn off all of them that you do not need on then go disable the built in Facebook app... And youuuu come back here and tell me that that your phone now has amazing battery and no more performance jitters/laggs ... its mad.. even my built in apps open without that nano second of loading up..tryyyy ittt..... if you dont see a difference turn them back on..but for me i can see it and feel it

Edit: I have successfully uninstalled digital wellbeing through adb, hope it was worth the while. I didn't use it like at all but I enjoyed seeing it there
i'm amazed by the amount of positive feedback but can someone post a simpler guide. i really wish to try this out.
