N910C factory upgrade forced bootloop, help - Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi there
I updated today from 5.1.1 to 6.0.1 through the settings, and it got stuck in boot loop.
I managed to get a custom ROM on but now I cannot make calls or sms messages. I can still use my wifi though.
I'm in Australia, model N910C .
I cannot seem to find any factory firmwares, my googlefu appears to be lacking this time.
Can someone please point me in the right direction of a fix?
My computer is being a stooge and won't connect me with ODIN, but I've come across FlashFire and might be able to use one of the computers at work.
Thanks

I managed to use a rubbish work computer to connect to Odin and flash stock 5.1.1, root and recovery. Back to square one

trying to hard reset and more.

My s4 is possessed. I bought it from Craigslist and then I've got it unlocked. It's on 4.2.2 but I was trying to update it. When attempting to update it I got DM initialization is not ready. I guess the phone was rooted so I downloaded Superuser to unroot it through settings and was able to do so. Still no update so I tried Kies but no luck. I wanted to use odin to put the same firmware but my firmware is i337ucuamf3 and had no luck. I used all 3 methods of a hard reset. I used power + home + volume up, no luck. Next I went into settings > account > back up & reset > factory reset, it rebooted and download screen came on. I even try the numeric code and nothing happened. I trying to hard reset and maybe update to kit kat if possible.. Can anyone help? I'm selling this phone and need it in "normal condition"

Try using this.. Not sure if u can still download the .tar file. The post is kinda old. It sounds like you need to Odin back to stock using mf3 files.

They make all in one mf3 .tar files that you can use in Odin to flash to complete out of the box functions. Only problem with that is if the phone is sim unlocked you will loose that function I do believe.

I will give it a try in the a.m. but if it becomes locked, no biggie because the person I'm selling it to needs Att
You can use this program from Samsung to get everything back to stock:

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 SM-N910W8 (Canadian) Hard-Bricked; Any Solutions?

I have a hard-bricked Samsung galaxy note 4.
After I rooted my note 4, it started to display problems. It would randomly crash processes, reset, and freeze. One day, it turned off by itself despite the battery being at around 40%. I tried to turn it on but it wouldn't respond.
I replaced the battery thinking it was a battery problem. It didn't fix the problem. I also replaced the power button inside my phone. That didn't fix it, either.
My phone cannot enter download mode. It also doesn't respond when i plug it into an outlet.
When i connect the phone to my computer, my phone is recognized as this device:
Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (COM5) [Ports(COM&LPT)]
Manufacturer: Unavailable
Model: QHSUSB__BULK
Model Number: Unavailable
Categories: Unknown
Description: Unavailable
Does anyone have a solution/fix for de-bricking a hard bricked note 4 SM-N910W8 with these problems? I've searched everywhere w/ no success. Thanks.
Edit - GREAT NEWS, fellow N910W8 users! A user posted the N910W8 debrick image, today! I haven't used it to debrick my phone, yet (My phone is disassembled and i may need a new battery) but there's no harm in trying it.

Please explain what exactly did you do before starting to have those issues. What did you use for rooting?

Ok. I'll explain step-by-step. Since i'm a new user, i can't post outside links in my messages. I'll try to explain how i did it w/o links. I'll PM you the links i used to give you a clearer message on how i did it. Hopefully, i can PM links.
1. My phone was initially running 5.1.1 lollipop (n910w8vlu1coi4) before I decided to root it. It didn't display any of the problems that it had after rooting it.
Unfortunately, i used a guide that doesn't seem to exist, anymore.
I downloaded these files
- CF-Auto-Root-tritecan-tritecan-smn910w8.tar
- SuperSU - v2.65-20151226141550
- Odin3 - v3.10.6
- twrp-3.0.2-0-tritecan.img.tar
I did all of the pre-req things i was supposed to do before rooting (turned on developer mode & turned on USB Debugging). I put the CF-Auto-Root file in the AP field of Odin & pressed start. It passed. Afterwards, i put my phone in DL mode again and installed TWRP via the AP section of Odin. It passed as well.
My phone didn't root initially from doing both of those things. I had to go into TWRP and root the phone from there.
2. After doing all of that, my phone started to crash processes. Contacts crashed first from what I can remember. Others crashed over and over again. I thought it was due to having a bunch of apps on my phone prior to rooting it that didn't react well to the custom firmware/root. I decided to factory reset the phone via the OS' settings. When it turned back on, it continued to crash processes.
3. I decided to install CM 12.1 to see if that'd make a difference. I installed it via TWRP.
When i first booted CM12.1 up, i found that processes didn't crash on it, anymore. Also, it was faster than it was before. Unfortunately, it started to display other problems. It would freeze, reset, and turn off on its own. I reverted back to what i had before when that happened.
4. I decided that the CF-Root Tar image i installed to Odin to root my phone was screwing it up. I decided to un-root my phone by going back to stock firmware. I used samfirm (Samsung Firmware Downloader) to download the latest stock firmware for my phone.
Android 6.0.1 was the only stock firmware i could download. This was the name of the file:
SM-N910W8_1_20160507131653_k12ydzqths.zip
I flashed it to my device via odin by putting it in the AP section of the program. It passed.
5. When i booted up my phone after that, it seemed fine. It had a battery drain problem but that was a widely reported problem w/ android 6.0.1. My phone also wasn't rooted, anymore.
Unfortunately, the problems my phone had before came back. It would freeze and reset here and there. The processes didn't crash like they did after i initially rooted the device, though.
6. About a week later, my phone turned off by itself & wouldn't turn on anymore. I hooked up the phone to my computer and it wouldn't recognize it as a note 4. It recognized my phone as "QHSUSB_BULK".

You should restore it w/ odin. Type in "Galaxy Note 4 restore odin xda" on google and you'll find a few good threads.

Nope. Not yet. I've been searching and searching for months and haven't found anything.
Same here. I've been searching everywhere for a 910W8 debrick image everywhere but no luck. If anyone has one, please post.

Vibration not working after downgrade from nougat. How to fix please?

Hi people, i think the title is self explanatory. I downgraded from nougat to marshmallow and now vibration is not working, instead it makes a low beep.
Can anyone relate how to fix this please?
i googled but didn't find any solution apart from factory reset. I can confirm this is not a hardware prob because phone vibrates in twrp.
Thanks in advance.
You have to flash mm bootloader & modem in odin, then it works again.
also i downgrade my s7 edge and i lose vibration. i try to re-odyn everything from 6.0.1 but nothing! anyone can help?
Here's the solution!
Temporarily upgrade to Android 7 to fix the vibration issue then use odin to flash final version of android 6.0.1. You must flash all 4 files contained in the extracted (unzipped) firmware package but ignore the home_CSC file. IMPORTANT...tick the option in odin "phone bootloader update". This process will wipe all data on the phone full but will give you a fully functioning galaxy s7 with Android 6.0.1 marshmallow!:good:
But without home_csc you have no csc.... is there straight guide for this process? I also downgraded to 6.01 but have no vibration at all.
I'm in the same situation, after downgrading from Nougat to Marshmallow, I lose fingerprint functionality. If I upgrade back to any Nougat firmware then fingerprint starts working again. When I go to *#2663#, I get the Fingerprint Initializing Fail error. I'm going to try the Phone Bootloader Update method to downgrade.

That didn't work, still getting the same error message with Fingerprint not working "An error has occurred with the Fingerprint Sensor".

NXT-L29 EUROPE ROM. Please Help.

Hi guys having a total nightmare trying to update my mate 8, i have the bootloader unlocked and TWRP installed, this is after one week of reading threads and watching video tutorials, i am stuck on EMUI 4 and the build number is NXT -L29C636B103 I would like to update it to Nougat. I have downloaded update. zip and update full hw eu zip and placed them in the dload folder i created but when i try to flash these, i get Error 7, i also tried wiping, system/cache/data in TWRP but the same thing happened Error 7. I am really besides myself now and so fed up any help would be greatly appreciated. My phone was bought from china and i believe the Europe rom is installed.
No L29C636B103 rom is Asian rom....
---------- Post added at 10:09 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:07 PM ----------
L29C432B*** is European rom... Letest European rom is L29C432B581 on firmware finder app....
Hi thank you for replying, i tried firmware finder but i seem to have an additional tab to fill in as the connect button stays greyed out with only putting in localhost and 8080, any ideas on what i need to enter.
Tried using firmare finder but the system updater still does not see the updates which have downloaded, there are 2 files in one folder and one file in another, does anyone know how to move forward with this, thank you.
Update tried flashing update.zip and update1.zip but still get Error 7, do you think this is because my installed rom is Asian region.

First get the firmware approved through FF for "Get the firmware through DNS".....
Then you dont have anything to do with Proxy. Just open IP Settings, check on "Static" and put DNS 1 and DNS 2 as 81.177.139.39......click save.
Open Updater and look for update. You will get it for sure if the firmware is already approved for flashing .
Start downloading. Midway, you may pause, change your WIFI again to normal and start again else you may see "Server not available now" notice at the end when ready to flash after 100% download.
Done.
Will give this a try, thank you so much.
It gets as far as rebooting into TWRP after downloading updates but goes no further, should i manually install the updates one at a time within TWRP, thanks.
No twrp.... You need to be on stock recovery... Flash that first...
---------- Post added at 02:55 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:54 PM ----------
You got rest all right now...
Thought i was just about with joy until it booted back into stock recovery, the update started but failed saying the update failed because it could not verify the update, i checked the compatability with Imei and said was ok, do you think it maybe due to going from B103 straight upto B589, i am at a total loss at what to try next, thanks.
May be...I flashed on top of B330...try with any higher versions of emui 4 or 4.1....oh ...wait....
You need to flash B562 first...
Managed to update to B330 on EMUI 4.1, have tried B585 and B589 but failed both of them, I noticed there is no B562 in the firmware finder list, there is also 2 versions of each update do you download both or just the FullOTA update thanks.
Cannot thank Apat26 enough for all your help, even though B562 was not showing in the firmware finder list, I had a quick look in the system updater and B563 was there so updated that version and then went on to update to the latest B589, om EMUI 5.0.1, so well happy with the overall result.

[SM-G935F] No OS Installed and Stuck on the 'An error has occurred' Bluescreen

Hey guys,
So far i've tried flashing 5 SM-G935F roms using Odin v3 13.12.7 and every single one of them had the same problem ( they all stuck on system.img ), it never showed any errors but it would stay on that one file for hours.
I also tried using 'Emergency Software Recovery and Initialization' via Samsung Smart Switch PC software, i entered my phone model ( SM-G935F ) and my serial number but i got an error saying 'SM-G935F does not support initializing. Please contact our service center'.
Earlier today i got the idea of installing TWRP (hero2lite) and it installed perfectly, This also removes the bluescreen at boot but the phone now boots directly into TWRP.
I'm out of ideas, and would really appreciate it if any of you could give me any advice or point me in the right direction.
Thanks in advance guys.
try using a updated version of odin?
yeah, all the roms i tried were stock
try with this one https://mega.nz/#!l8RhzahQ!V8oBOJOEic7e50oCD7KlB4jQltEe8YrzX7s6WGFw_-8
