Iv been looking around for a sim unlock method for the galaxy S5 G900F all the ones i have come across don't work for mine none of the code give me a menu and i have rooted and installed a custom rom on it and still cant find any methods using root to get around it does any one have a solution that doesn't mean i have to pay to get it unlocked?? Any help would be amazing my new phone died and I'm not on the same carrier anymore so I can't use the phone.

guys i have a docomo galaxy tab, and rooted it and installed few custom and roms and stock roms,
now its locked, i can access all the stuff but no network, cannot use my local sim, i tried every thing, HEX EDIT, Galaxy Tab Unlock (Market) and so on, but still no luck,
please share your idea on this, is there any permanent solution to unlock this, or is there anyway to DE-BRAND the tab

Hey! I think that you have to re-install the firmware! but don't install the firmware that cause this problem install the firmware that Compatible with the tab you've got! like I have Tab GT-P1000 and I've installed the firmware that Compatible with it! without any other roms or anything else it's working perfectly!
Guys I have finally bought Note 3 N9005 from eBay seller which says phone is imported from UK.I am from India.I want to root my Note 3 and flash custom roms.But i am afraid that rooting phone may brick this device as it is imported and/or may lead to some country network lock after flashing custom roms.I am attaching my phone info.Kindly advise me.
Note-I have successfully rooted and flashed custom roms in my Galaxy S4.

There are bunch of how to root on the forum or look on YouTube. As for your question I have the same device model and had no problem rooting it. Or in other words it will work fine if you follow the instructions

Yesterday I got my SPRINT galaxy note 4 which I bought from ebay, I'm not in USA and I want to unlock it. There is app called SSU to unlock sprint galaxy note 4 for international use but it require kitkat or lollipop custom rom to unlock phone. But unfortunately phone came with 5.0.1
So now i want to flash custom rom to unlock it. Anyway I prefer stock rom so that I can backup and restore after unlock it, So guys I wanna know what are the good custom roms to do that process. ?

Hi all. I have a rooted Canadian Samsung Galaxy S5 (G900W) running on ResurrectionRemix-M-v5.6.0-20151220-klteusx ROM and using Philz touch recovery and I would like to sim unlock. I tried some method but it doesn't work. I tried Both on this tread : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2717361&page=17 and when I press on dial button (after dialing *#0011# or #197328640#) nothing happen...I tought it was easy to sim unlock a rooted android phone...More easy to root than to sim unlock lol...
Anyone can help me ?

I own an Samsung S5 Prime (SM-G906L) running on Android 6.0.1. At its age, yes it still works quite fast(S805+3gb ram).
Is there any way to unlock its bootloader? I can't literally do anything with it. I was planning to root and install a custom rom.

I tried rooting the phone using cf auto root, etc but I came across some info that in order to root and install a custom rom, bootloader should be unlocked. And the thing is, I can't find any way to unlock it. It's really frustrating.
